Interesting concept but the plot was definitely more out there. Action was great, the scenes were drawn pretty competently but the yuri kind felt unecessary or at least felt contrived. The plot just made the two genres conflict with each other only time it felt natural was, and to my dismay, the rapey villain because it didnt take you out of the action.

Started out alright but ended up being very contrived. Had too many plot holes, unanswered questions (Psyche exploiting sentient beings) and the deus ex machina at the end.

I preferred Aoi and Shions ending since Aoi went into a coma for decades just to be with Shion. But I'll believe in my personal canon where papiliodaemons reincarnate with their loved ones if they truly wish it

It ended up being more holes than cheese and I like cheese. Papiliodaemons are a cool concept though and I wish they got more fleshed out. Still, immortal x mortal stories are always heart wrenching and cant deny I didnt feel sad here.

Now I want one with the later characters. Art aside this was really really good even if the whole death game sort of became negligible if everything resets at the end anyways.

As absurd as this was, this was really good.

Really cute but this version of Mokou doesn't really sit well with me. A bit too brash and explosive for someone who's lived a couple centuries it makes her look a bit too childish, though I don't mind that kind of behavior when shes with Kaguya.

^ but isn't contradictory pc98 lore basically non-canon in windows era? Windows Alice has no ties to Makai so shes a different person.

No wonder shes the gatekeeper, a butt like thats gonna stop people from passing.

I think its just Alice being hunted by humans but she ends up sparing Marisa's dad and finds out her mom passed away so killing her dad wouldve made her an orphan, that and possibly Fuantei's Alice having mom issues. So the puppet show was to cheer her up and as an apology.
