I really like this story. It's quite unique, in my opinion, and I think the romance and drama is pretty on point. Too bad it ends so quickly and that we never truly see them declaring their love for each other explicitly.
Speaking of the locket, I seem to have missed why exactly Azuma is required to use it in the first place. Lyriel is allegedly a wellspring of life energy and has done this for a while, so why does she suddenly require a human assistant to smooch girls in her place? I suppose it is implied that as long as Azuma wears the locket life force could be transfered into both directions, but then why did Lyriel act like she is experienced with dispelling the curses if she always required a human to do it for her?
I was thinking the same thing. Overall, I enjoy some good, dumb fun, from time to time, so I'm enjoying this story.
Well, that sucks and all, but I really think the story should have been told in a continuous way. Like, the first chapter straight up spoiled that they would never be together. Made all chapters between the first and the last kind of redundant.
I remember reading one where there was this woman that was supposedly very pretty, and she was shy or had social anxiety because she was sexually assaulted at her previous job but the other women actually thought she was a whore and liked it. Well, she meets this younger woman that works on delivery, and they develop a bond. I remember it having a couple chapters.
