Comp-Het is a huge problem in Japan huh?

Am I missing something or did Misa come down with a sudden case of amnesia? Why would Io call her and beg Misa to help her and then run out all haggard in a hoodie while visibly on the verge of breaking down if she was cheating? Io was audibly struggling on the phone, and Misa even talked to Hase and literally said "Isn't this the opposite of protecting Io?!"

Honestly, after this chapter I'm kinda hoping Io winds up cutting off both of them and walks away. The story was going fine and then Misa has this sudden brain aneurysm upon finding Io in the alleyway. Misa was morally dubious and kinda toxic in a sexy way before, but she supposedly cared about Io in some way. What just happened however was nonsense IMO.

I hope the author can walk it back with the next chapter and give us some insight cuz this chapter was kinda like finding a fly in my formerly delicious drink. I wanna eat my words here, please Flowerchild.

Don't you love it when a manga dodges all the hard questions and having to actually tie up loose ends? It just threw out an ending where everything is fixed and tried to pass off asspull as poetry!! This is literally "and then she woke up from a coma, the end!" What a piece of schlock!

This isn't romance, at all. This manga gives me the same vibe as Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii.

I can't believe how much murderers and psychos just get to keep walking in this manga. I don't think the Prez's best friend knows how to throw a punch. She just grabbed Seo's collar and yelled at her while crying after Seo killed her best friend. I get Seo had a knife but come on! She still went and grabbed Seo's collar, that's not what someone worried about being in stabbing range would do.

My willing suspension of disbelief was already strained by the events leading up to this. You would think that attempted murders, and one ACTUAL murder in Prez leading that one girl to be struck by lightning and killed, would elicit more guttural and violent reactions from people. But this entire time until now it's just been the Prez trying his best to go on an actual killing spree while Satsuki and the gang go "We'll save your victims because people deserve to live you meanie head!" and then the one time they failed Satsuki and Akira just got sad for a while :(. Meanwhile, Seo is the only one who finally did something about the Prez, but then the author decided to make her a psycho attempting mass murder of innocents and terrorism to paint her as a villain right after.

Oh, and we STILL don't have confirmation on whether Seo was actually trying to turn over a new leaf or if she was really a psycho the whole time who kills because it's fun, I guess?

I don't know, back to the Prez maybe I'm the weird one for thinking that at the very least Akira would have beat the snot out of him in a dark alleyway after school before this, but either way these current events are a step up from "making it look like an accident". The evidence in the classroom is absolutely straight up obvious attempted mass murder and terrorism, and the Prez was murdered with multiple witnesses. There's no way to pretend it's an accident now. If the authorities don't get involved and no one tells on Seo or apprehends her, and she somehow evades prison after this, and if no one confronts Komachi over being a sociopath, and I mean CONFRONT not "Geez Komachi what's wrong with you, being an accomplice in that attempted mass murder wasn't very nice!" Then I'm going to be completely convinced this whole plot is a fever dream and Satsuki has actually just been in a coma this whole time.

I think it's awesome to have new trans manga on the site! After School Mate has been a fun read so far, reading a transman story is always fun. Though I would like to find more examples of transwomen who are straight. As a transwomen who is herself straight, I've found my particular demographic to be oddly under represented even within trans manga and webcomic circles. There's a good example or two out there of course, like "Hold Me, Baby, As a Lady... -First Love Again in the Body of a Woman." heck of a title but yeah it's pretty good even if it's a bit raunchy... That's about the only example I can think of though besides Hanayome wa Motodanshi which is more an educational autobiography for cis people and young trans people than anything.

As well, most examples of transwomen who are into guys in media are terrible caricatures that fall into the "entrapment" stereotypes or other scuffed examples played for the sake of comedy, movies are most often guilty of this. Meanwhile there's an awesome selection of webcomics and even a few handfuls of manga for transwomen... lesbian transwomen anyway. I think it's because the vast majority of transwomen are lesbian, and I'm happy for them, but I feel kinda left out xD.

Anyway, if anyone knows of any good stories about romance between a transwoman and a guy I would be eternally grateful!

Yes yes, she's fine again with basically no progress made so we can drag it out further! This shit is so played out, I have to wait a dozen chapters each time for the author to pretend like something might happen just so that, once again, nothing will happen.

I'm starting to feel this too tbh. School Zone is my favorite manga on Dynasty Reader, but this is the first Yokoe/Sugiura chapter in I-don't-know-how-long, and while funny it was basically Yokoe going 3 steps back after taking 1 step forward during the festival and wound up being a Nothing-Burger kind of chapter. Yokoe is my favorite character too, which stings. I almost want someone else to come in as a love interest for Sugiura just so Yokoe can wake the hell up since the first wake-up call didn't stick.

This is all of course unless she's 100% ok with being a cuck / orbiter for the rest of her life, or finding someone else to love, which I'm pretty sure she's not, and it's going to be like a steel-toed boot to the gut if someone else starts drawing Kei away from her. I'm hoping for that now just so the other shoe can drop. "Move it or lose it", girl!

So first post ever, just wanted to make an account to say that Yokoe is hands down best girl. She's the kind that's fun, never holds back, and is unapologetically herself (a huge derp). Also she's hot af and honestly just 10/10 would party with and talk about koalas and the greater truths of life. Sweet and regal on the outside, based shitposter on the inside.
