i actually REALLY like how there was this kinda “skip”. most of the story up until now was just a back and forth about their troubles recognizing their relationship and how get around their likely internalized homophobia(or maybe just stubbornness lol). however, it’s written in a way where we don’t actually get to see the process in which they finally get together. of course, it seems pretty likely seeing as they already have this old married couple thing going on, but up until now it was never really “confirmed”. i think there’s this really cool theme going on where they, and by extension the story, don’t really need to declare their love for each other, it’s done through actions and feelings, not just words. by skipping the major conflict, it felt like chapter 6 gently put our worries to rest saying “of course they’re together now, have you seen them?”, implying there was no reason to even doubt in the first place.

wow i can’t believe it’s over, i really liked this series although this ending felt kinda weak imo :( it’s not like it was bad or anything, i can imagine tons of ways it could have ended much worse, but the new girl at the end, kinda had me expecting more. i’m sure the extra chapters coming up might remedy this though with a little more elaboration on their relationship, and the new girl working there. also, while i generally don’t tend to agree with the “interpret their relationship on your own” angle, i actually think it works here. it’s clear that catalus(catali?) tend to be pretty gay, and the stuff about yuki not knowing what their relationship is works imo. it actually feels like yuki genuinely doesn’t know what their relationship is, but considering the fact that there’s confirmation of an actual couple present, it seems pretty likely that her feelings are romantic, and it’s not just nekotarou choosing to keep the yuri aspects of this story ambiguous or something like that. well, i’m gonna miss this series but i’ll def end up rereading it a few times, and i’m really excited for the extras!

i know it’s gonna of for the friendship end...but i can’t help but hope. well at least it’s not like it would be ruined whichever way it goes. i honestly feel like either way would be a satisfying ending, everything was so well built up, and so far it’s all being concluded very nicely. this has been a really fun and interesting story, i pray nothing bad happens in he final chapters.

one of my favorite cliches in hentai. a tsundere gets lonely and does “things” with some item left behind by their love interest(preferably a scent), and then gets caught by said love interest. it’s cheesy af and super basic but i can never get enough of it -w-

^exactly what i was thinking. it isn’t nearly as dramatic and drawn-out as i thought it would be. i love how it instead ended up with yamada just dorkishly reassuring kase, which then led to some funny solo yamada bits as well. throw in some kase being just so dang cool (even if her jealousy is kinda worrying), and you get a pretty great chapter.

i was not expecting to find another story from this anthology that i disliked more than the previous one. my biggest problem isn’t the het(although i mean cmon y no yuri)it’s just that it comes out of nowhere. regardless of gender/sexuality stuff, i find it pretty reasonable to want characters with similar levels of depth to be paired together, not have an entire story dedicated to a certain pair, and then have one of them married in the last page to some nameless cliche. in all fairness, duh of course that would happen i read the title, and i guess it still isn’t really het(yet?). also, the anthology never quite specifies itself to be purely yuri as far as i know, so i can’t complain about it not fitting in with the rest either
