If there's one thing I kinda hate about hentai, it's the pushing of the idea that "no means yes." Ughhh. No means no. Even when they're lesbians.
This is totally valid, and it certainly should never be the norm when your're getting to know someone, but as long as couples talk about it and have some kind of way to show the partner when something is ACTUALLY bad, then using this kind of dialogue can be very positive and fun. I say talk about consent rules with ANYONE before diving in and everyone will have a better time.
Bit of a tangent here, but I think lots of hentai have exciting ideas for ways you can plan to interact with your partner, as long as y'all decide it's okay first :>
