I’m having trouble with the translation because of so many pages in this new chapter 10. Any idea how long before it’s translated into English??

Sorry for the unreal delay this time. Chapter is being reviewed by our translator and will be sent for final qc later tomorrow. Hopefully it will be done by the end of the week.
42 pages feel like a double chapter since Saburouta got us used to smaller chapters for citrus plus

I get it. I imagine it is kinda long chapter this time.
So do what you need to do. We’ll be patient. Thanks.

I was wondering about the translation. When Sayaka and Miyabi are talking about the school rule, they say that the rule says “You’re free to do what you want as long as the school acknowledges your objective” (My dyslexia is hurting my head).

Not that I really understand Japanese (I found the raws), but shouldn’t it be more simplified?? Like...
“You are free to do what you want as long as the reason is accepted by the school”??

Isn’t this what it’s suppose to say?? Thoughts??

What exactly does Mei’s father mean when he tells her “You’ll be free too”

It means that Mei is freed from all her responsibilities as an Aihara heir.

i.e. she doesn't have to marry someone so that her husband could be Chairman of the school and leave behind a descendant.

As a consequence, she herself could take the position.

Oh I see. I was having trouble understanding what that all meant for her.
So all of this could work out for her and Yuzu after all.
I’m actually happy to hear that. Thanks for clarifying.

I’m curious. What exactly does Mei’s father mean when he tells her “You’ll be free too” when discussing administrative changes??
Or is the translation different then what’s being said??

To put it simply, Citrus was about Mei entering a faux relationship with Yuzu to repay her for all the kindness she showed her, but in the process ended up actually falling in love with her. Citrus+ is about Mei's guilt over how horribly she treated Yuzu and her finally gaining the confidence to be in a true, committed relationship with her. At least, that's how I see it, and I understand if you don't agree with me.

I couldn’t agree more. And I believe we’ll see more of Mei branching out of her comfort zone as the stories progress. This is something she has to feel her way through, and it won’t be easy for her. But at least she won’t be alone.
But I’m curious if this would mean that they’ll begin wearing their rings at school?? Or would there still be a school rule within the dress code??

I liked what I read. It shows Mei moving forward by standing her ground that she can run the academy. And by telling the board she doesn’t need a “husband” to do the job for her.
And the part of doing so “with the person I love”, which is a slap in the face to the board, will mean she’ll be a formidable person in the future. And with Yuzu everyone uncomfortable, it was worth a laugh.

What I like is seeing the outcomes that happen after the girls are committed to loving each other, and to hell with anyone else’s preconceptions of how things “should” be done.
Mei’s already done that with the important people in her world, now its up to Yuzu to do the same, specifically with her friends Kana and Manami. And I’m hoping we’ll see that in the next chapter.

Citrus+, Ch 5:
I’m thinking that Mei is feeling her way through her feelings and new-found freedom. Her life was structured with discipline, order and expectations (which included her arraigned marriage) and she was expect to “fall in line” regardless of her own feelings.
But now.... a lot of that has changed and it looks like it isn’t expected of her anymore. And if she thought she couldn’t love Yuzu before, now she knows that she can, which is a new experience for her. And I think she just wants to do it right... or doesn’t know if she’s doing it wrong.
But for now, this makes me think that Mei is doubting herself, which might be a new experience and it scares her. And I can imagine that this might be a rocky road she has to walk on. What will her doubts make her do?? Just how scared is she??
Now I agree that these stories are taking place after the end on the original manga, with a glimpse of things to come. But what I want to see is the story of how Mei’s grandfather will react to all this with her, and how her father has to confront him about having to except all this.

I love how their story is continuing and I’m always looking forward to the next chapter.
