Believe me, they kiss plenty in the author's other works. They love saki and mai and will never never stop drawing them. If you like this, they recently put out a collection of their sfw Splash Star works. This is an earlier one and the art and stories only get better. Its still just barely in stock on toranoana and I could not recommend it more
