I forgot about this manga for so long until I saw this update and reread everything again. I'm so glad I did cause I fell in love with it once again noticing how well the paneling and dialogue is and all the subtle facial expressions and body language is beautiful. every small detail is important in conveying each characters emotions and personality, everything feels intentional.

I really do feel like I'm observing a real high school relationship where Shou and Umi are learning to navigate their feelings and I love love love how open they are to communicate with eachother so that there is never any miscommunication drama. Shou opens up about all of her worries right away to Umi as she's grown more comfortable around her and safe enough to do so as compared to the beginning.

they're perfect for eachother since they'll both help eachother grow in different ways and I hope to continuing watching them grow for the years to come

Insane how this is just a passion project that's free but it makes sense cause that's how creativity thrives as the love of the craft and stories pushes you onward

I think the secret Haruka's referring to is that she used to act in the past but quit. She doesn't want to bring it up in fear of ruining Nao's current acting goals/making her worry but in reality Nao already knows (referring to the scene in bed when she asks "why did you quit" while Haruka was still asleep). ah the irony
