Yoonie0104 Thanks!!!! XD I mean, Sungji is hella cute hella hot drools but there´s more to her than that hehe. ^^ Tbh they´re all hella hot!
Hey everyone! Thanks for welcoming me!
Sungji's every action making sense, or her being quite relatable can't change the fact that her character is bland or boring, right?
Own :( Well, that´s more subjective, right?
I find her endearing and honest. Like those people you would like to sleep on their lap and feel no worry in this world lol.
it could be what you said is why precisely some do not find her that interesting. but the honesty part does not settle with me 100%, many incidents suggest that she hides every encounter she has with Seju (understandable but not 100% honest.. specially the ring thing), previously I expected if there will be a plot twist then it could be so much in how Sungji grows up or reveal her POV.. could we see a new side of her like the one we saw at the beg of arc3 ?
...
now I do not really hate her, it is just how I do not find much to say about her.. It will be nice if she shocks me tho
Lolo i mean endearing and honest in her love but not stupid. The girl wasn´t going to throw Sumin into Seju´s arms. (Seju was sick, remember? she didn´t want Sumin to know and take care of her)
I hope Team Gaji surprise us too!

I would like to know your opinion about Sungji/Sumin relationship, I am curious to know how it looks like from your POV specially that you you lean to Sungji more than I do.
Hey everyone! Thanks for welcoming me :)
Ok so here i go:
This is supposed to be healing story, am I right? So I think, Sungji represents the new opportunity for Sumin to really believe in someone and love again, for the heart and soul to find healing from Seju and all those past relationships that have left scars, physical and symbolical.
So, she has a stressful life, lives alone, smokes and has her ex as her fuck friend. Her life is toxic. Sungji comes into the picture with her kind aura and her beauty and she likes her, at a moment just wants to sleep with her but then she realizes Sungji isn´t in that wavelength. Sungji proposes a real relationship where she could, again, get hurt. Besides, she has been burned before so much she´s skeptical of love. She is not keen to open up and let Sungji in just like that. She´s not involved at first and feels many actions from Sungji unnecessary. However, Sumin is Sungji´s first love and Sungji wants to give herself to her with that young, naïve, inexperienced and endearing infatuation that manages to reach Sumin in a way that she only felt when she was young. I believe she remembers her time with Seju because the situation and the feeling remind her of her younger self and how she felt. I think she compares herself to Sungji. She starts to give in and decides to really start to make an effort. She decides to love her and then falls in love with her. If she wasn´t so open before because she didn´t want to get hurt, now she doesn´t because she doesn´t want to fuck up.
Note: I somehow believe love can be a choice, no matter how much sappy romcoms want me to believe otherwise.
I think their relationship is young, with little to no communication due to Sungji´s insecurities and Sumin´s fear of losing Sungji and what she represents in her life: a new chance, an honest love that can grow, that can be a construction from both sides. BUT, she still loves Seju which is completely valid and understandable. So the question, of course, is what will she choose?
Their sex scenes I think are very important. I know not everyone thinks like this but they show their dynamic as a couple. The first time, Sumin handles everything. The sex after the cheating is very awesome because Sumin takes into consideration Sungji´s desires more, wants to learn what she likes the most, she´s really caring, making an effort and enjoys herself very much. Then, even though she usually dominates, gives in to Sungji and lets her dominate her and please her…this could mean she really trusts her and she´s finally giving her heart to Sungji.
By the way,
I love the SuminxSungji couple but…
I hope she chooses no one to be honest. I think there are deep things about Sumin that she needs to handle herself before giving herself to either of them. One would be: forgiving Seju. I think she will love Seju forever, even if it´s not in a romantic way. They have been, for good or bad, together for so long…they only have each other, as family and as friends. It would be really, really sad if they don´t end things up clean, forgive each other for their wrong doings, for the both of them to really heal. And this might be a boring ending but this is what I would wish for myself or a real couple. I really want them all to grow or at least to start growing. I want Seju and Sumin to be happy even if they aren´t together. I just care about them! don´t hate me lol.
And Sungji, my Sungji…she´s strong.

Hello to everyone! I´m new into the forum and i have read some of your discussions! And i would like to participate as well it´s that´s ok with everyone. I´ve been reading WDTFS since a couple of months ago in spanish. Where i read there´re a lot of fans but little to no serious discussion about the story so i´m glad i found a topic where i can discuss, to be able to share my insights as a reader.
I want to say that i like the story cause when i first started to read, i didn´t expect what i found. I was not expecting a much honest and human lesbian story that could make eco in many people and their experiences with relationships. I want to share some thoughts about the main characters so essay ahead, lol.
I like the three main characters because they aren´t bad or good/evil or saint as we usually find in many stories...these characters are just human with strengths and weaknesses, like we all are. But i have to say my fav character is Sungji, lol, and it does make me a little bit sad you guys don´t seem to like her very much lol. I don´t know if it is because i seem, as reader, to identify with her somehow with many of her actions and what i, as reader, think it´s on her head while she acts. To me, Team Gaji have neglected Sungji as a character, because she doesn´t have as many points of view as the others and i see the three of them as main characters, not side characters. I think this might be a reason why many people think she´s bland or boring or silly...we are missing a lot from her, i believe. However, even if that´s so, i still think she´s a very important part in the story and a very human and imperfect too.
From what i see from her, she seems to be an extremely insecure young woman. In one or two chapters she talks about how often people stared at her and she hated it. As she kept on growing she kind of got used to it but still was uncomfortable, especially with all those people who wanted her and how she was unable to reciprocate the feeling. Personally, not that i´m beautiful or anything, but i have experienced similar situations of being unable to like or love someone, and believe me that i started to think there was something off or wrong with me and perhaps i still do. “Why is everybody else around me being able to be on a relationship but me? Probably I am the problem.” So, i do think she´s insecure and somehow thinks the success of her first relationship and love relies on her. If it fails, perhaps it´s because she wasn´t enough or did something wrong or wasn´t understanding enough or didn´t forgave enough. That could be why she doesn´t ask Sumin for much information, why she never asks the hard questions…she wants Sumin to open up to her by choice because she´s afraid if she pushes she will lose her. She isn´t stupid… I believe she has known from the start that Sumin wasn´t as involved in the relationship… and when Seju talks to her, not the readers or Sumin get to know about it. She keeps it to herself aware that Sumin has a past and much more experience than her. Will she ever be enough or able to compete against those memories? So she tries the hardest to make memories with Sumin, always aware of the danger and she being somehow flawed. Also, the girl is young, sometimes naïve, sometimes childish and sometimes the girls is just lost. Though it has amazed me how mature she can be as well.
Why does she love Sumin? I think it´s important the fact that Sumin is the only person she has ever liked and also the only she has felt chemistry with. I think she at first clings into that and with the time she just naturally fell in love. Sometimes people just fall in love and what they feel inside it´s strong regardless of many other issues, like the fact that she possibly doesn´t know much about Sumin, no more that Sumin has ever been willing to give her and tell her. Even though she wants to know, she´s afraid to push the only one she has ever loved away. To me, the love she feels is young and very endearing and still flawed…but she has been able to touch Sumin´s damaged heart.
Also, i´m as confused as you guys with when she said that things were going to change because she´s still insecure, now even more after the cheating. But, what if Team Gaji is hiding something from us like when they hid the talk between Seju and Sungji?! Because Seju also cut her hair, (in what I think was a sign of determination to win Sumin back), but she hasn´t done much either.
Not saying what I say is the truth or anything like that. I just wanted to share my thoughts with someone and the perspective of another reader.
I want to talk about Sumin and Seju too but I think if keep going you guys will be so bored lmaoo. So, later!
