I did some research and I think Naomi x Ikuno is canon, though I haven't seen any official words on it. However, I choose to believe it is canon as explained and shown through these links.

Each chapter hurts more than the last.

Gosh, why ya gotta hurt me like that. I'm sleep deprived and in a empty mood then I read this and my heart just sinks and cries.

Alright, I can sympathize will the teacher's backstory, but it doesn't change the fact that she deceived them, especially our poor baby Iris who now feels like she is murdering her love. Anyways, I love how Sara is just like, I'm going to die in a year, but I can't change that anymore now can I, so I won't cry about it and instead I'll get up and go comfort the one who now hates herself because she knows she is killing Sara. While I am here, with four projects and instead of getting my ass up and completing them, all I am doing is wanting to cry.

Yay, I have the same birthday as Iris! :)

Natsuki is like that child who likes another child, but ironically expresses it through teasing or fighting.
