One more thing: I saw someone said it was suspicious me and the others came here with our first posts. I obviously can't speak for them, but this is how I came here: I've been a lurker on Dynasty for years. Literal years. Mainly cause I'm bad with voicing what exactly I like and don't like about stuff I read, so I never bothered about making an account. But I followed some convos on here. That's how I learned about Ssamba's condition. Then Suzuma started this entire thing about wanting to do something nice for Ssamba and she kept jumping through the threads to get people to join and update them. I kind of started following her around then, cause I found the idea really, really cool and I didn't wanna miss the updates she was posting. So by doing that, I found this thread. I read through the first few pages and I thought "Wow, that's a cool crowd. Maybe they'll let me jump in and chat with them." The rest is history. So yeah. @Like I Care - From what I've read, you've gotten overly salty about a post directed towards someone else, who's pretty damn new to the forum. You don't even know who they are, but you were extremely aggressive about it. How do you explain that? Are you some sort of SJW?

Here's what really went don: I ignored the first post he made cause it wasn't directed at me, I thought he was talking to Cepha. Then Cepha threw his attitude back at him and said he was wrong, which then lead to him making the claim (at least that's how understood his next post), that me and Cepha are the same person, that person being the one, who made the accounts for Su, Lin and Johnny. I ridiculed him for this, cause the claim is absolutely unbased. He doesn't have any proof whatsoever other than his overactive imagination, apparently. Then he gave me the same sarcastic attitude he gave Cepha with his first post, so naturally, and especially since I've had anything but a peaceful evening, I snapped. I don't have to take this shit from anyone, no matter who they are or who they claim I am. Now, I'm willing to try to calm down and settle this peacefully as long as that's something we can ALL agree to do. Otherwise, the guy can simply fuck off for all I care.

I still have a long way to go hahahaha and we don't have degrees here, I mean, we finish 4 years of education (5 in my case, pharmacy, medicine and some others are not affected by the years dictated in the Bolonia plan) and we get a bachelor’s degree. What we do from there varies from person to person, some start working, but most pick a master to do and get a better curriculum, I'm thinking about doing just that too

So overall how many years are you gonna be a student until you'll be able to earn your own money?

Tbh, I like it when most people in a forum are about the same age. Mental maturity is a thing and in most cases it's tied to one's age. I wouldn't really enjoy chatting with emotional, hormone-driven teens and I don't think I'd like talking to much older people as well. I notice it every time I have a chat with my dad. There's something about his life experience that's a bit...how to say it...intimidating? Yeah, I'm just gonna with that. Maybe it's cause I was raised, but I just have this instinct of wanting to behave when there's older folks around and the last thing I wanna do when I come chat on the net is worry about my manners. -_-

I was just procrastinating here on dynasty instead of studying for a pharmaceutical chemistry test that I have in a few days, so when I decided to sign up the first thing that I saw when I looked at the table for inspiration was the core structure of the cephalosporin, then I just shrugged my shoulders and went with that hahahaha

So you study medicine then? Cool! I like med students. You can drown them in alcohol and talk shit with them one day and the next they'll be right back to their books and willing to pull an all nighter to make up for the time they wasted messing around. XD But srsly, what exactly do you study?

If you put it like that then I guess you’re right, why should we, as human beings, make an exception? But the moment you get involved yourself or one of your loved ones does that’s when it starts taking a toll on you...

I understand how that feels, trust me. But I guess when you get involved on the other side as well, it starts to put things into perspective. I work on a dairy farm and while I think that the farm I work at is really giving its best at making the life for the cows there as comfy and good as possible, at the end of the day we still send those breathing, feeling and seriously interesting animals off to the slaughterhouse without a second thought once they get so sick, that taking care of them would just become too expensive. I look into the expressive, dark eyes of those gentle giants every time I'm there and that's when I really realize, and I mean it really hits me in the face like a soccer ball each time, that humans are beasts. We exploit animals, nature itself, and now we've started exploiting ourselves. The snake has begun to eat its own tail. Somehow, I find that thought oddly comforting.

To throw my thoughts in the ring as well, I live in Germany too and my mom was a surgeon for 15 years and I've never heard about any device like that either. Companies, and in the end hospitals are nothing more than that, do keep secrets, but something groundbreaking like that would've been all over the news and net. So either that Su person really just misunderstood stuff, like a whole lot of stuff, or she's simply a plain old liar.
