You know, seeing these recent doujins actually working to give us more about the complexity of the characters it's really great, even the scene with the umbrella shows us the great pride Sumireko have.
Stealing the strap was both a way to make Mahiru come after Sumireko seriously to train and become stronger, and to keep her loved ones(both Mahiru and Shinya) by her side.
We have to recall that Mahiru is insane(remember, she's the pyschotic one, not Shinya), it's her character and it's exactly what Hanabusa loves the most about her, more likely this was the only way Hanabusa could think about to atract and interact with Banba eficciently(after all, it's freaking hard to talk with the easily scared Mahiru). Thats way i love so much this pairing, i consider Sumireko the character with the most interesting love out of all the pairings, she liked and loved Banba from start, not because she has a completely pure heart like Haru neither because she's noble and perfect like Chitaru, Sumireko takes a liking to both her good and bad traits, specially the bad ones, indentifying herself with someone who embraced insanity to survive alone in a hard and cruel world from a young age just like her, they have much in comon deep down there.
In a darker way, i see "I will return to you this strap, as a relic" implying someday Mahiru will kill Sumireko and takes it back, making it a relic from a dead one, but being realistic, neither Shinya and Mahiru really wants to kill her, neither they can, Sumireko is far too strong and exprienced for them. I agree with Proto1210, they will grown together as they days passes, it's not like Mahiru is a complete monster like Takechi, she can easily get over this "relic" stuff like in the anime while learning to get close and talk to people even without Shinya, and eventually loving Sumireko in the same way, when this happens, Sumireko will return the strap, as a relic, the treasured memories of their lives together.
If Ichinose Haru doens't need to be a lonely queen, Hanabusa Sumireko will see the doens't need to be one as well.

It's freking strange how i can't hate her despite she invading homes, raping, cutting and slowly and painfully killing women, that's Takechi Otoya for you. It's indeed really interesting the contrast between the authors art styles and mood. From my point of view, like others have said, Takechi doesn't want to kill Shienna not only because she is not her type, but also because she's pure hearted, it seems like she wanted to wait until Shienna grows up into a pretty lady(and loose her pure heart?) to be able to kill her, if you think about it, it can be a form of normal and true love/affection from Takechi, since she had no mercy on Haru(who i can't think not being pure hearted as well) but spared Shienna

Always nice to see the guest art by Sunao's yuri making friends.

Ah, and about the art of Otoya; I like her character, I find her quite badass, but that drawing of her holding a bloodied body/corpse was really unsettling to look at. Definitely can't forget that she's a sadistic killer

The corpse is Shienna :(, I really like Otoya but of all pairings her and Shienna its the only one completly impossible, the doujins always make me forget her true colors(the scary thing about her is when she acts nicely to get closer), to be honest this drawing is what would happen if those two were a couple D=

Have you forgotten what Shiena looks like? (the hair at least)

Braids are cut off, just look at the hair falling and in the scisor(also Otoya mentioned how she wanted to cut her braids remember?), the cloths look like Shiena's, it can be a random person but it's more likely her indeed.

1 year after meeting Akuma no riddle for the first time, today i finally readed the final chapter and ended my journey with the title. I must say i have really mixed feelings, we actually got a proper yuri ending, which makes all of us happy, but knowing how it REALLY is the last chapter and its so rushed it's a bit disappointing. I already knew it was only 16 pages but i kind of was waiting for these pages to be better used, like many have said here, it's not that it was bad, it's just that it could've be WAY better. Anyway, not gonna lie, Haruki x Isuke cannon was the best shot, im also happy Sumireko and Banba are living together now(and from the moment Sumi-chan liking Banba is cannon, we all know they will hook up) and of course, Tokaku and Haru proper kissed this time :D, but once again, the ending sees like more a teaser to a second season(who knows?!). It's sad to say farewell, but it's finally the end of Akuma no Riddle.

It's been a year since i first met Akuma no riddle, my nose is bleeding in excitation right now!

I don't see why people should complain about a "everyone alives" ending in the manga as well, sure, if it's just the same rushed stuff as the anime, it will sucks, but most of the assasins were already mentioned to be alive or hospitalized right after the chapter they are defeated, the only ones who have a vague fate atm is Sumireko and Nio, i would like to see a explanation to how Sumireko survived the fall this time. I just want the ending to be better developed this time(like all the manga was compared to the rushed anime)

My Theory about the ending: Hiroko did not kill Tokarev, and just shot her unconscious, my reasons to think this is because neither her body have any blood nor Hiroko could do it(the whole manga exists because she wanted to save her little sister). Instead, i guess since Hiroko could not save Tokarev, she choose to go along with her sister's wish and stay there with her and the other students forever, because Ayaka would never submiss to Tokarev(to who even Hiroko was already submissive) , Hiroko let her be free(though i really think Ayaka would rather stay there with her, even if it means living with Tokarev as well ¬¬). I really enjoyed it and tough it would have a way greater ending, and LOTS more of explanation, the last chapter explain little to nothing, at the the start of the manga, it would get a 10/10 from me, but the lack of explanations and ending reduced it to a 7/10. This manga heavily needed more chapters and a epilogue, like, really? You'll never see your beloved one again and you write a damn novel? and WTF happened with Higoromo who also escaped?Did she and Ayaka became best friends?lovers?wife and wife? Only the author knows...*sigh* Sadly, i don't think this manga lacked yuri, actually, it was full of it, pretty much every girl is gay, the really sad part is that it seems most of the (rare) yuri mangas with a plot not only focused in the romance have a rushed or unsatisfaying ending :\

This was a great series, i really had lots of fun reading it, haven't had so much fun since Sasameki Koto, its a shame the ending was a bit rushed, some things here and there(like Chimi eye and Rin objective) were left behind and it din't have a love confission, but at least Neneko and Makoto love is pretty clear, they had two kisses and their relationship became really implict. This manga had a way more potential, and if it had a more solid ending and developed more the plot it would get a 10/10 from me, anyways it was a worth read, hope i get to read more yuri like this!

I just hope for Yuru Yuri to get something this perfect, I just can't express how perfect this was, i easily call this a Masterpiece, it had EVERYTHING i imagined for them as a couple and a lot more! It felt like 7001 should be the one writting Yuru Yuri lol One of the best dounjin i readed until now, Hima x Saku its just beyond perfection <3 Headcannon <3

It is a waaay better and less out of character when Himawari is the dominant and perv one since she is way more mature than Sakurako(both in mind and body lol) Also its more funny and ironic seeing Sakurako being overtaken dispite her being the more "male" of the relationship
