Sometimes I think yuri must be the worst genre. How often was a plot like this used? e-e

So.. A twin pretend to be her sister identical twin so she can ruin the later romantic chance with a guy, just so she can keep her sister for herself? I'm certain that it has to be yuri (or yaoi) for this plot to work

The more common hetero trope will be: 'one sister pretend to be other, so they can date the guy + some drama +got found out, but they end up with each other anyway'. Maybe you mistook it with that one?

I'm pretty sure I already saw a manga about a guy crossdressing into his sister to keep boys away or something like that once, but well, it stays something pretty rare to see.

But for sure, the random boy with the "I was the only one" line is so cliché.

I also remember a manga, where a guy, who kept his secret crush's photo in his pocket, got in some sort of accident, his face was immensely scarred, so the plastic surgeon had to reconstruct his face from the only photo this guy had: his crush. So he ends up with the same face and due to various circumstances has to impersonate the girl's sister (or cousin, don't remember clearly), who went missing. Other than that, he sometimes pretends to be the girl herself in order to not let other guys get closer to her.

Domestic na Kanojo, I'm not sure.

The MC is a wimp going like a pendulum between the two. It's not over, as far as I know, so whether Rui or Hina "wins" is still on the table.

Though, somehow you could say that he went from Rui to Hina, because he slept with Rui first, but it wasn't really a relationship. Rui just wanted to get rid of her virginity at the time and she choose that random guy because she thought she would never see him again.

Well, he went from Rui to Hina, then she broke up with him, and now he's with Rui, afaik. Maybe something else happened while I wasn't reading it.

Speaking of this, I wonder if there's a manga where there's a triangle and then the MC goes for one of them, then, after a while, breaks up and goes for the the second one.

Good Ending and Domestic na Kanojo by Sasuga Kei and Kimi no Iru Machi by Seo Kouji.

Then there's also VN Kimi ga Nozomu Eien and its anime adaptation, where MC's girlfriend has an encounter with Truck-kun, but the gods of Isekai haven't visited Japan yet, so the girl falls into coma instead of being transported to another world. Meanwhile MC and his best female friend (who also loved him for a long time), trying to console each other, start a relationship. Then, few years later, MC's sort-of-ex-girlfriend wakes up from coma and nobody has the courage to tell her that she's been asleep for a few years.

Well I've read before that Cuvie and Yuzuki'n'Dash are women but I never heard anything about NaPaTa's gender. Not that it really matters, NaPaTa desn't draw yuri or at least I never saw any yuri work done by NaPaTa.
