The woman and the boy in page 12 are those Mami met when she was new, from the PSP game. The boy was eaten by Gisela because Mami failed to save him from the barrier, and his mother went mad with grief.

My Abyssal Ship Girl Fu is weak. Who is the cruiser(?) doting on Wo-Class?

There's no notable cruiser character in this manga. The black haired one is Battleship Ru-class. Other girls are; white-haired counterpart of Ru is Battleship Ta-class, the one with ponytail and scaled arms is Armored Carrier Hime, the big beautiful woman is Transport Wa-class.

Nice to see this back with new chapters, I'd been wondering if it was cancelled or something.

It's still ongoing, it's just that no one has been translating them lately, either that, or the manga has been licensed.

For some reason no one cares about this manga and Forbidden Scrollery (despite being official and therefore canon) and just one guy is translating both of them. He said that he found FS more interesting and so this one is on hiatus for a while.

If you look around, the translation is actually up to date with the new release, but the translation is still in beta stage as the translators are mulling over the right localization (over some manner of speech like Mamizou's mostly). Not to mention WaHH is bimonthly unlike FS and right now WaHH's artist is hospitalized so the interest.for WaHH decreased for a bit because there's no new material.

Seija is everything about contradiction. Her nature to turn thing upside down is basically translated into "the weak defeats the strong" ideal. But the kicker here is that when the weak defeats the strong, that means the 'weak' is not really weak but strong. Thus she takes upon herself that she will always fight the 'strong', even when it's previously the weak.

When Seija wins against Gensokyo's big-names in ISC, her action of using cheat items caused Soranaki to appear. Since she wins, that means she's strong, and the Soranaki is also strong too because it appeared because of her. So Seija goes on to destroy the Soranaki because 1) It's obviously the strong because its existence causes Gensokyo in turmoil and 2) It reminds her of the sun who 'won' the staring contest against her, which means it stronger than her.
