This kind of story is depressing but also great, because it's a good reminder to evaluate your relationships carefully and see things from your partner's perspective. The main character sees what she's doing as "making more money so we can have a more comfortable life," while the girlfriend just sees it as "I promise I'll never let you be lonely... now excuse me while I work late hours every day and take a 2 week business trip during the fireworks festival I promised you we could watch from here."

Why is it all the working woman's fault? The whole "If my partner really loves me, they would know how I feel" thing has destroyed many relationships. Love doesn't give you magic emphatic powers. If her girlfriend felt lonely, she should have said so. So I think there is plenty of blame to go around.

Totally agree! Yet, I know I am guilty of "Magical Thinking", which is actually the clinical term for thinking your thoughts can effect the actions of others. I try to vocalize my thoughts , but we all hope for someone who knows us so well we don't have to vocalize... but face the facts.

Honestly, You are the one who is causing the issues if you are unhappy with parts of your relationship, that you are letting your unhappiness fester, and not vocalizing it before it becomes a breaking point. Much easier to fix at the beginning. Less pent up emotions to get in the way of addressing the issue. (Again, I try, but I'm not great at this... I'm getting better, and it is true that although it might hurt, it will feel better than letting it fester.)

To be fair, I was wondering why she didn't offer to take her along with her... I mean most companies wouldn't care as long as you paid the extra fees out of your own pocket. And if she was afraid of the company finding out, all she would have to do is tell her supervisor that it was her best friend and they had had plans to hang out together after work during the time the trip was planned... Company knowing your personal business is avoided.

Okay, first of all I'm not going to ban CozyCreature12, for the simple reason that they already left the conversation two days ago and didn't keep pushing it.

However, I will require them to stop posting in bi-related discussions from now on. If you've got a problem with bi people, that's your problem and you need to keep it to yourself. If you do post in those discussions, that will be grounds for a ban, just so they understand.

As to bisexual people in manga, it's a huge failing on the part of manga authors in general that they keep writing them so badly. Because of that, I can understand people not wanting to read stories with a bisexual tag because more often than not they're full of bi-phobic tropes, whether intentional or not. If anything, this particular story is an exception to the rule in that the bisexual character is actually a pretty decent person who's not unfaithful, predatory, or what have you. So calling it toxic because it contains bisexuality is ridiculous and so is anyone who says it is.

I don't label myself as Bi because the reaction I would get from my fellow LGBT community was not all that friendly a lot of the time... You know, they were thinking of the negative connotations that go with it... Instead I have to label myself as a lesbian, because I mostly like women,and very very few men(who strongly have some sort of feminine quality about them).When I'm with a guy... well... that is when I get to use the "90% of the time" thing... So when someone doubts my lesbian status I just say "Well, 90% of the time anyways..." If being Bi wasn't a crime I would be able to just label myself as that...

Honestly if someone has a problem with a tag of some sort and it is on the Manga being discussed then this should apply to what ever the specific tag is.

Yeah, and the sad part is that the Yuri community is so starved for content that we eat up even the poor quality manga...

Now that is not to say I find this manga all that bad... Cause I'm kind of liking it right now... a bit much of the hentai side of things, but the artist usually drawing that explains the extra detail...

Have you read half of the stuff on here? It’s basically 70% nsfw (some are pretty messed up) and 30% fluff and interesting het/yaoi stories.

I think it's more like 50% but then again there are a ton of NSFW one shots. I think if you were to just count the multi chapter series the majority probably aren't lewd aside for some graphic hand holding scenes.

Then again I've run across some stuff on here that is eye and brain bleach level hentai so it always pays to pay attention to the tags if you are trying to avoid that kind of stuff.

LoL, I realised I was gay when I had no interest in this guy manager... Then I found out that guy was a girl, and somehow she was sooo totally cute. I was head over heels for my manager, who I thought was about my age. Turns out she was married and had a kids around my age...

... The ending felt... weird.

It was as if the author was told to wrap it up quickly right before the last couple chapters. For someone who was a fan of the manga I found the ending disappointing because of the rush and lack of resolving the issue. It would have been better if more of the expected conflict came from the declaration of love. You know kind of like how the rest of the series was.
