Never really understood why these kinds of manga end up on here from time to time..

Lol I constantly wonder the same.

I asked them to host this manga because practically no other readers would.

"Concerning the age"... 12 years old boy have sex with 12 years old slut girlfriend after funeral..., because He has 32 years old mind...

And You still wonder why no other readers wants to keep this? But because it is an delusional "fiction", and in Japan they can do this legally from 13... Whatever! BLACKLIST!

All this confusion, lol. I hadn't heard of this series before either, but even if it's subtext, it's pretty neat that the author herself is making yuri doujins for it.

And yes, the fact that Ooshima Towa and Ooshima Tomo are roommates and using such similar pennames is pretty interesting, lol.

Incidentally, although Ooshima Towa is not to be confused with Ooshima Tomo, I believe she is indeed to be confused with Oshima Towa [edit: have confirmed they are the same person]. I only happened to stumble across Tomo and Towa's relationship as well as Towa's name on a random series in my 'To Read' list a couple days ago; it's pretty neat to have a more recent idea of what Towa's worked on.

Hello :)

So Ooshima Tomo is only a pen name used by Oshima Towa ?

... Did You even read what You wrote?

From what are You laughing reading this manga... From tortures? From 10 years old trap chained to the wheel and drowned in the pool?

Like bullies laughing from their victim being flushed in toiled with pants down? Nice... Clap... Clap... Clap...

So next time maybe everybody will laughs from rapes, murders, humiliation, pedophiles, wars, tortures, bestiality, scat, crucifixions, public executions... Choose Your subject of fun :) Why not :) Like in Roman Empire: "Bred and Games".

Just understood, that there are subjects, which can not be treating lightly! Because reality is far more worse, then some fiction, and evil is evil, does not matter that it have a sweet cookies! And We live in times, where evil is treated like a "style of living".

you said

I read Uziga, necro (Game of Thrones has it), Wolfsmund, scat, bestiality, and some other weird, fictional or based on reality SHIT!

and actually have problem with this manga???

:)

Yes I read Uziga... I was interested in Junko Furuta case. And as I mentioned other SHIT. But as I wrote those at least do not try to wrap SHIT in sugar cotton aka candy-floss :) And this manga clearly do that. And those subjects mentioned by Me are not subjects for making "FUN" with it.

Ech, My rusted English... :/

This is a gag manga, is made for the laughs, it knows what it is. Clearly not for it to be taken seriously, neither does it deliver any kind of hidden message.

It is simple, if you find the topic it uses for comedy uncomfortable I suggest you move on cuz it will just be more of the same.

I think some people take this manga way too seriously. I mean, we saw things way worse than some cute girl joking around in a torture club that is, so far more like a bdsm club. The only actual torture so far was kind of glossed over and followed by yet another joke.

There are mangas about actual murderer, canibals, graphic violence and torture, some crazy shit out there, I'm kind of surprise this one seems to actually make people uncomfortable when it's not treated in all seriousness and in a comedic way.

I'd have been uncomfortable if the torture scenes were more gritty or something and depicted more seriously or "realistically".

Honestly, I think the way it's treated lightheartedly and not at all serious makes me more uncomfortable, not less. If it was a gruesome psychological horror about a popular and openly-recognised high school torture club that kidnaps a freshman girl and uses a mixture of violence and sex appeal to indoctrinate her into becoming a regular member? I might still be disturbed by the setting and the premise, but that would be tonally consistent with the intended genre. It would be horrifying, but the fact that it's presented as horrifying means that me, the author, and the story are all playing by the same rules.

When something horrifying happens in a lighthearted ero-comedy, I'm not just disturbed by what happens in the story itself, I'm also having to deal with it as an created object that exists in the real world. I start thinking about how I react and relate to the issue in reality, at which point I'm not just thinking about imaginary play-torture, but actual torture as well, and the way it's discussed among real people. If it's not something you've ever thought about, it's understandably easy to treat it lightly, but I think recent events have made a lot more personal for many people, as they come to grips with the idea that these horrible things were done (and may still be done right now) in our name and ostensibly for our sake.

When something objectively awful happens within the story, but the real-life book treats it as if I'm supposed to enjoy watching it, a sense of dissonance and alienation is created between me, the story, the author, even the rest of the audience. This can be amazingly useful for all sorts of storytelling purposes - Dowman Saiman in particular makes excellent use of this effect, leveraging the readers' uncertainty and discomfort to make a punchline more explosive, or to sharpen a moment of personal sentimentality. The problem this manga has is that it's too weak and low-key to effectively handle the sheer weight of its subject matter.

Looking at it, it fits the exact same formula as the dozens of stories about racy crossdressing clubs and the unconvincing tsukkomi of boys who don't want to admit how much they're into it. But it's not the same. It can't be. The stakes are completely different, the history isn't comparable at all - it's like following a cookie recipe word-for-word, but instead of chocolate chips, you swap in an equivalent amount of lego blocks. You haven't made an unconventional flavour of cookie. They don't even count as cookies anymore. You've made something that's largely inedible and stinks of melted plastic. You could have made cookies, or you could have built something with the lego, but by trying to mash the two together without meaningfully considering how the two are different, you end up with neither.

There's a really good manga to be written about a high school torture club comprised of SM lesbians that constantly skirts the line between kinky excitement and inhumane horror while maintaining a lighthearted and mildly sexy atmosphere. This isn't it.

And yes, if anyone might be wondering, I do feel appropriately embarrassed about spending this much time being weirdly serious about a dumb manga. I do not make good decisions. Thank you.

Hello :)

^ T H I S !

That is exactly, what I wanted to say/wrote, but My English is not good enough to wrap it in so wise full words !

I read Uziga, necro (Game of Thrones has it), Wolfsmund, scat, bestiality, and some other weird, fictional or based on reality SHIT! But it is taken that subjects hard and real. Not making tortures, humiliation, rape, (hentai logic), like nothing is happening, and everything is all right, and everybody are happy! Especially 10 years old TRAP! Because, You know, statistically speaking 9 / 10 peoples are enjoying gang rape and tortures! But what about this one on receiving end?

Kudos to You :)

Now... Age of this girls according to first chapter of manga: 13, 10, 16, 16, 13...

Don't anybody think, that with Japan problems with bulling, under-age prostitution, and children sexualization making something like this is rather "hardcore" ? I know, I know, fiction, free of speech, whatever, but tell Me what is the point in making a movie based on Guro manga by Uziga or fiction manga with under aged characters liking BDSM where manga is pointed towards minor audience? To prevent, to entertain, to encourage to do something like this? I thought, that Nana to Kaoru and Arashi version with live action movie, Sundome, was already on the border of good taste, but at least character portrayed there have Their adult age (16)... Here 10 years old girl likes BDSM, while She should be still playing in her sandpit with Her dolls.... But after read recently article about junior school gang, which prostituting fellows schoolgirls, of course in Japan, I still do not see a point to make something like this... I and know! I wrote something like this on the site full of loli! But where is the point, where fiction does mixing with reality, and in opposite direction, there always is some reality in fiction... I hope that this is made only to entertain, like porn, and not to encourage some sick peoples to try something like this with real minor persons.

It's cliché but it's entirely possible. This could another case of an high functioning autist or something similar. Most "geniuses" or people with a VERY high IQ tend to be lopsided when it comes their "intelligence". They usually have strong defects as well, usually related to social interactions but not always the case.

I guess it makes sense, to get something of great value some sacrifices have to be made and it's not different when it comes to brain usage/functions. You very rarely will encounter someone who "has it all".

Hello :)

Look on Sheldon Cooper from TBBT :P This could be the same example here, but in much prettier form :D

Why do lolicon and shotacon fans get so defensive when anyone feels uncomfortable with such material. This isn't a matter of the popular defenses that a drawing isn't a person or that because a few people feel something is wrong or makes them uncomfortable then suddenly we have to ban everything to make everyone happy. That is just immature and more giving an excuse than any logical, refined, or even useful defensive argument. It is natural to create a human connection with these characters because that is what they are drawn to be, they are to imitate us. When people see someone that looks quite young seemingly being taken advantage of by an adult, that is concerning to a lot of people, and there should be a standard whether this is fantasy or not. It is my personal belief that 16 is a fine age for consent, I lost my virginity at 15 and looking back I was too young for that. I also think 16 is fine for depiction of sexual activity in manga. Younger than that I feel uncomfortable and won't read the material if it contains sexual activity. Any character that is depicted as being prepubescent, and I don't care what anyone thinks, and is shown in sexual situations I consider that child pornography. We need to keep some innocence in our children no matter if it's a drawing or IRL, and that's where I draw a line. Yes this is fantasy and yes it is not really happening. Such acts can be used in a literary way as well, my concern isn't that. My concern lies when it is explicitly depicted for others sexual enjoyment. A sexually immature child is not a sex object.

In most of the posts on here where people said this made them feel uncomfortable well, they didn't go attacking those who didn't feel uncomfortable. They said their piece and that was that. Why all the sarcastic comments from the defenders and... even a moderator on this site? I thought the girl in this manga looked like a middle school students so I skipped the sexual parts. I just didn't like it because of that so am I not free to voice my opinion when I don't like something? Don't be so one sided with your belief in freedom, it just makes you look like a hypocrite. Also, remember that freedom comes with responsibility, it is not a free pass to do whatever you want.

Hello :)

This is a very wise comment :)

Everybody has right to make their statements about something, does not matter if it are words of liking or disliking something, especially that Here nobody "attack" the other site, but the content of this Oneshot !

I personally like Aoko works, but this left mi with bad taste in My mouth, and it is was on the borderline of rape...

So if anybody feel offended by MY PERSONAL STATEMENT about this piece of manga, fell free to defend it, as You like, but this statement is MY own, like Others are Their, even defending side. Without "attacking" anybody's FREE of SPEECH!

Thank You :)
