I was split between 'just hypnosis' and 'some level of bodyswapping involved' since 34 and 34.5 made it clear that the Airi we saw during the chapter was always the Airi we're familiar with. Given that Airi is a certified sleepy girl and 34 already kind of indicated she was super reactive to hypnosis I'm a little annoyed at myself for not figuring out the solution earlier.

Nagi never actually breaks the hypnosis, despite the numerous warnings in both chapters? She tries to fix it by going along with what Airi thinks, which in practice takes the form of leading her through the scenario and adding more and more suggestions until Airi's mind turns into slush. That's pretty amazing for us (page 84 was beautiful...), but it's terrible for Airi.

But that's how Nagi does things, right? She accepts whatever Airi thinks because when put in a corner (see chapter 16) she wants to be accepted completely, including her codependency and toxicity, and really doesn't want to be denied at all. Nagi can't quite admit to her role in starting Airi's spiral by ending it as she begun it; maybe that parallels how she also can't quite admit to her role in making Airi the brilliant outgoing person she loves today? Might be reaching, though

My guess was that Touno never actually liked doing her nails, she liked the feeling that she was trying hard to be a woman when others weren't. That's why the very first line is some guy going 'you have to do it to keep up appearances.' When Jimizu treated it like it was just something quaint that didn't matter that much, Touno first tries reasserting how hard she tries compared to someone like Jimizu who wears the cheapest clothes she can to work. That doesn't resolve how Touno feels inside, though, and since she doesn't do it for her own sake she gives up. Ultimately, Touno has made everything up in her head, and so watching Jimizu dress up for someone else destroys all of her assumptions about her, her reason for throwing her nail kit away and makes her feel pretty stupid; that's why she's mad.

How am I supposed to notice errors if it's so good? They should have found worse yuri with a title beginning with Nobody.

My read is that Yuhi actually rejected Sakurako because she saw her as way too far above her.

It's already something to follow around someone you see as beneath you as a lost puppy, but that could be chalked up to repression. It's just weird to immediately go out and buy the yuri novel they were reading on the vaguest annoyed suggestion, and when you look at the girls Yuhi plays around with, you see girls who are pretty clearly an onee-san and an imouto. The novel of course was explicitly siscon, and Yuhi treats siscon as weird before reading the novel and falling in love with it, so maybe Sakurako's rec is partly responsible for sending Yuhi down her current path?

And this isn't even to mention the necklace! It functions as a collar from MS Sakurako, Yuhi wears it all the time, makes strained expressions when she says she doesn't remember who gave it to her and says it's not important, and immediately freaks out when Sakurako keeps it, though she tries to play it cool. Rereading it, she totally acts needy and emotionally vulnerable towards current Sakurako despite saying 'no commitment'? But Mocchi just pushes her away...

This is just guessing, but "cries over romantic novels" makes me think that maybe Yuhi thinks of herself as unworthy of commitment, and that's why she prefers open relationships? I think someone who straight up dislikes commitment would hate the novel, and someone who thinks it's not for them wouldn't react so strongly.

All of this is to say that Amano isn't Kudou. I feel like the manga being from Sakurako's POV kind of makes it feel like the obvious upcoming plot will be "I'll end up tricking myself into caring too much even though it's all delusional, Amano doesn't care and never will and then burning myself," but I think this is a double trick, and what will actually happen is that Sakurako's inability to realise Yuhi actually does care and always has will burn Yuhi really badly. She treated Sakurako like a dog in middle school, even if she didn't realise it at the time... but I'm totally open to being wrong, I trust and love Kuwabara!
