Well, it's still just speculation, but they can't restart the trip from zero without Yuri, who they do remember did come, from the cruel things Konoha said part, and spent the first day and night (from their reactions to the food). I think they just keep looping Day 2, since that's the only time they could play PingPong repeatedly before they pack.
Day 1: arrive, go walk in town, meet Momiji at the dango shop, go see the pursuer get Kuro'd (another thing they couldn't replicate endlessly, unless it's all an act, but if it was there would be no need to reveal the inner workings of Kuro's ability, just have her press foreheads as she "did" to the clones), eat with drunken Yuri, fall asleep all together.
Day 2: Momiji starts pestering from the onsen scene. Yuri is still here, so Momiji plays pingpong alone, sauna, popsicles, fails to recruit them. Kuro'd at some point.
Loop on Day 3-5, then Day 6: Yuri is gone, so Momiji starts roping Kuro into her bullshit sometimes (Satoko changes from Yukata to overalls after Momiji + Kuro loses, there they jumped to day 6 where Momiji still didn't challenge them, apparently Satoko and Konoha played one on one, but Momiji still had a paddle (and book on pingpong falling from the yukata) ready). Tired Kuro intervenes, waterfall scene. They don't get Kuro'd, probably someone spying them told them that they intended to accept.
Some point in Day 7: they """"inform"""""" Momiji (they have packed their bags already), Kuro slips up, brought home, erased for the last time.
This is too much time analyzing a meaninless point in a gag manga.
