I prefer my ShouByaku mutual, but I do like big cat Shou

I like humans and youkai kissing.

I also love Reimu's emotive ribbon, it's so cute.

I already said this elsewhere, but I feel the need to reiterate here: Mero is godly, this manga was the best, and the panel of Shou brushing Hijiri's hair gives me life. Also, I'm very amused by the idea of everyone else at Myourenji shipping them together.

That confession was so good, Mero has a real talent for conveying the various emotions going through the characters in art and in dialogue. I hope we get to see each of the other couples one more time in the final chapter.

The Magician article in PMiSS notes that youkai magicians are somewhat unique among youkai for being basically identical to humans physically (or even weaker in Patchy's case), with the only difference being their natural ability to use magic. They're not even born unaging but have to figure that out the same as human magicians, just with something of a head start in terms of magic skill.

Is Patchouli really asthmatic in canon?

Yeah, she mentions having Asthma in the ex stage for EoSD. Which is odd now that I think about it, because she's said to be a natural born magician, so I assume that means she was born a youkai? So youkai, the creatures born from human fear and imagination, can have asthma. Can they have other medical conditions? Like, do they have to worry about the common cold, or cancer?

Anyways this chapter was great, PatchiAli is a good ship.
Also that explains what the book from the previous chapter was, but is that all was meant to accomplish narratively? The way Yukari looked at it made it seem more important somehow.

That Shou Byakuren chapter gave me bliss for the rest of the day, and now we get a bit of Meisaku AND a Yuuma cameo? Mero is wonderful.
Also, it looks like Reimu's finally figured it out too! What was up with the book Yukari was looking at meaningfully?
