I mean it depends a lot on the artist like with regular manga. A good artist and writer can make super hot, steamy and even sweet lewd scenes. For myself I can rarely get off to 3D porn, it's just "too much" a lot of the time for me.

This, and it's also stimulation for the imagination. Everyone has their preferences and fetishes, plus artists work hard to make their works arousing to their target audience. Additionally not every art style is meant to be realistic.

If I had to make a complaint it'd be that the game's only available in such a ridiculously low resolution like 99% of visual novels. Trying to read an 800x600 game's text on a 2560x1440 monitor when you're already blind as a bat is not a very fun experience.
