If only nanase was more assertive and affectionate like this, she wouldn't have lost Yuni. I like the symbolism how despite the recent effort to win yuni's heart back, her heart is still stuck on fuuko.

I enjoyed the premise of this series and for the most part the characters and the main plot. However, I felt up until the last 10 chapters there was a bit too much fluff i.e. the santa claus story that focused too much on Chima a character we didn't care about. I also felt the main villain Shefa was introduced so suddenly near the end, and her motivation while understandable was too extreme. did she need to resort to killing both girls to prevent their union? I mean she did wipe out their memories in the past couldn't she have done just that again?
Also, Ariel and Kirara's reunion was too short. The "payout" or conclusion felt rushed. In my mind, there should have been a conversation between both of them that went something like this:

K: so what have you been doing for the past year?
A: Well heaven has been in disarray since our battle and their in need of new fresh leadership, I had to step in and help steer heaven to our new ideals.
K: Ah I see. well it would of been nice to see you even for a bit during that time. eyes avert to the side and she pouts
A: sorry sorry I really wanted to but my duties at as Archangel really kept me In heaven. Believe me I really wanted to see you. I kept thinking about you and what you were doing.
K: yeah...
A: ahaha. I did constantly check reports on your deeds and surprisingly there was no shortage of good deeds coming from you.
K: well old habits are hard to break. also my wish still remained the same. I still wanted to see my angel.
A: ahh now that we're together, I'm not going anymore.
*at this point Ariel looks above Kirara's head to see what her wish is now. It says "To stay together with my angel forever". Ariel smiles and says: "Now that is a wish I can fulfill"

After the love arc with Nenao-chan and Asumi, I'm heavily shipping for both of them. Out of all the women Asum has been with so far, with the exception of Mai, Nenao has been the only "real" girl she became romantically involved with. Also, following Nenao's struggle to convey her feelings and finally conveying them to Asumi, I'm really rooting for Nenao. She is dorky but adorable I've come to like Nenao a lot probably more so than Asumi. I would be happy if the author ended it with Nenao and Asumi living happily in a relationship after Asumi finally finds Mai, reaches a resolution with her, and decides nenao's love is genuine and she wants to pursue that.

Omg, I wish Mei was this emotionally mature and honest with Yuzu about her feelings/thoughts. It would have saved Yuzu and her biggest supporters (us) a lot of unnecessary heartache.

I think this was uploaded around the final chapters of Citrus that were being released. I just binged the whole manga to the end so many years later and I still feel so much frustration with Mei, so I'm glad I'm reading comments reflecting other people's frustration with her character.

Yeah Mei gave up on their relationship to pursue her own ambition. She lost faith Mei x Yuzu and tried to abandon Yuzu completely. I really hated Mei for such a long time. I agree I wish Sabu wrote a rival to Mei that required Mei to actually "work" for Yuzu, maybe another gyaru student who took a liking to Yuzu and whose personality matches better with Yuzu.

"Mei Aihara Fanclub"? Jeez...Even outside out of Citrus, people are fawning over Mei, and looking through Yuzu...

On the less petty side, I am astounded and impressed by the artwork. If you don't see the front page, you might be convinced Saburouta penned this.

Exactly. When I saw the cover I was expecting a unique style of the artist that would be clearly distinct from Saburouta, but to my amazement, just wow. Gladyus really nailed down Saburouta's art style and panel techniques. I no one told me I would think Saburouta did this herself. Unless....can we confirm Galdyus is not a pseudonym for Sabu ? hmm.
