In the bare facts, isn't that also the same premise for Kashimashi: Girl meets Girl? Hazumu loves a girl who has problems with men, and when she's turned into a girl, she accepts it so she can be with the girl she loves.
Kashimashi is my favorite Yuri ever, but it is basically doing the thing you are saying is a problem.
Hopefully this one doesn't end like in Kashimashi because I would've preferred a poly ending in that one or at least be what I think this one is gonna end like.
I also don't see the ending so positively. I wanted to see more of their relationship; the bully got no comeuppance; and the reason she didn't commit suicide was weird, I don't see how that can be called love from her parents, it felt like they were forgiving them for pushing her to the edge.
The talk about the family in queer relationships reminded me of WanMu, a Chinese manga about comphet, family (non)acceptance and of course the lesbian couples.
