I get jelly whenever I see those scenes, it's never gonna snow where I live and the only time I witnessed it was during a vacation trip... snowed for only 30mins...

Maybe, but going for an ending like that with what has happened so far (translated, cuz the manga is already finished, iirc) would be a bad ending, writing-wise... MC showing courage and taking action (asking the dude about the girl (i forget their names) and going up to the board to erase what was written in defense of her) and suddenly back-peddling on that by returning to pathetic-ness, returning to square one (a cheap twist to the development).

apart from the MC, i really like the other girl, she is a character very far from cliche, after all this chapter i can't still catch her personality (thanks to a good writing)

She reminds of generic romances where the MC girl falls for the "wild/uncontrollable/unpredictable boy" archetype (hard to get a grasp on em cuz we are not given any insight into them), but in this case she seems to be grounded more on reality, a character hard to follow due to not being inside their head, but she is simply just a normal person. (Would've actually been more interesting if she was the manipulator ppl were assuming she was, but clearly wasn't)

I do agree I find those characters much more interesting and thought provoking. Those who are not the strong willed people. I know many do not like reading or watching those characters for other reasons(Shinji from eva for example) but they are always move interesting to see how they go against conflict.

Imperfect MC is a rather old concept when it comes to stories, very odd for me to see such praises fall into anime when it was done centuries ago (and even in history), suppose its a matter of exposure...

I can appreciate them, but when it comes down to being an irritating read (like running around in circles) I rather just skip ahead and see when something finally changes :p

Holding hands is an obvious hint though, and the part where Ran offered to go to Keiko's "other house" too. They sound like a married couple actually.

A panel like that, a close-up of them holding, has to be one of the most on the nose service for yuri fans that Shou has provided in this manga.

I... I don't quite follow what you are asking me here...

Things are flowing in the right direction. I like the way this is written. Nothing is ever done from Murakami's PoV, so we never get "unfair" or third-person insight beyond what we know from Moritani. Which is genius, because normally we get helpers and cheat sheets in the form of thoughts and night-time scenes that give us a look into characters.

But this, we only get what Moritani gets. So we have to figure things out as if we were Moritani, and I'd say that's really smart and I like it.

Only thing I hate is that she has been a pathetic MC throughout the whole thing (which I personally found REALLY irritating), this is the first time she finally pulls herself together and does something. I think I can keep reading this now, saw the ending chapters and she does get better.

Ugh... I somehow have a really bad feeling about it now... I understand why Ran would want to be the mediator between Keiko and her mum, but she really plays with fire here, in my opinion. Keiko isn't even resolved about her relationship with Ran yet. So pressing Keiko with two relationships at the same time - this might really turn out painful to read... Ran should stabilize her relationship with senpai first, and only afterwards try to deal with Keiko's mum. I mean we should see the couple kiss, and we should see Keiko being physically aroused by that. Up till now she was clearly happy mentally to have Ran by her side, but being comfortable of being next to each other, even physically, doesn't mean the desire for sex. And no, that boobplay on the Christmas party was not enough of a proof!

The panties service starts getting really annoying if it's clearly only done for the readers. It should be the service for Keiko in the first hand! Yet Ran is such a cutie, HNNNG... and a gothic lolita cosplay with pigtails... oh my... Ah Keiko, Keiko! How could you not kiss her lying so defencelessly in the snow? How could you not hug her tightly when she felt cold? Keiko's really... really ultrashy and embarrassed about Ran... So just a handhold for now... Agh, I really-really hope that it's just my cold that makes me pessimistic and a bit depressive today. I really secretly hoped for a kiss this chapter, to be honest. Even if another side's asleep, even if on a cheek or in the forehead... But apparently I'm asking for too much.

And no more stretches! Hope it's not a foreshadowing of a broken relationship...

Romance is blasting out of my screen directly into my face, LOVE IT.

Yohane's art is pretty great, facial expressions are glorious... But the ones that stand out are the super happy smiles. And this particular manga had TONS OF EM!

All the final chapter themes are really good well except RD(lol) spoiler warning the one in awakening really sets the mood it's on smash but it's not the same as playing the chapter on lunatic mode hahaha, I recommend the genealogy of the holy war ost it's pretty overrated but that doesn't mean it's not good *sample. The whole ost for most games is here

Well, looks like I got something to listen to while I work on my project.

Also really like the art for Awakening, the character portraits etc, so clean and slick looking... Specially when placing them in contrast to the combat's chibi look.

The art really bothers me...

I don't blame you 9 is not the best but has a great soundtrack. Did you try Sword of Seals? that one is the sequel to Blazing sword caution some chapters are BS. The one before that on the Snes and NES are pretty good but I wouldn't recommend 1 it's pretty outdated now days well duh the remake didn't do any better either but 3 is solid.

Have only played Blazing Swords, Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn (did not finish), and an incomplete fan-translated Shadow Dragon (did not finish).

On the talk about OSTs, my favorite is from Blazing Swords' final stage. Dragon's Gate II which has a sad undertone to it that fits in perfectly when you see who you are fighting as the locked doors open.

I almost forgot 3ds emulation is probably never going to happen same with the vita.

I know what you mean. This is one of those things that you wish would never end, but you know is going to and you can't do anything to stop it from ending. Just forget about the destination and enjoy the ride. :)
