Oh cool, I didn't know that chapter 9 was even released

The last chapter was kind of horrible in every way, but, aside from that, I liked it

Not bad, but it really feels more like a premise than a complete story

As for Reimari--since I went and read all the canon mangas before getting seriously into Touhou doujin, Reimari just feels so natural to me.

Speaking of which, does anyone know why MariAri is so popular, even though ReiMari has been around for longer?
I'm a fan of MariAri so I'm not complaining, just curious.

That's kind of backwards. Marisa and Reimu never really interacted much on-screen in canon until ZUN started doing manga. Which was several years after Imperishable Night came out, which has Marisa and Alice teaming up

Happy that it didn't happen?

Kinda weird seeing all these stories that got obsoleted by the last two episodes

Marisa x Alice is my personal favourite. Also like Keine x Mokou, Meiling x Sakuya, and Tojiko x Miko

I don't think it's evolution so much as the ability to switch styles-- there's Precure fanart in a third style

I don't see why. Yuna isn't in love with the girl and doesn't go batshitcrazy. She just beats her up and ends up being her mistress.

Eh, it depends on the precise definition of 'yandere' we're using. And Yuna does seem to have a particular interest in Sachiko. While I don't think it deserves the tag, I can see why someone would think so

Don't you know? Cannon only takes up 1% of the Touhou universe. Fannon rules the rest, and fannon can be what ever you want it to be. The only real cannon are the games and a few book/manga series that are endorsed by Zun, it's not really much to go off of and even then views are skewed.

That's... somewhat inaccurate and kind of pisses me off, but I specifically meant that I found leaving Keine's curse as the only supernatural element to be weird. Everyone else loses their character-defining supernatural elements, but Keine keeps her generally irrelevant curse, despite it being at odds with the new setting

Fairly good story. Relationship with Touhou canon is kind of bizarre, though

Hm, mixed feelings here. Felt kind of like two different stories squashed together-- a yuri-ish sci-fi story and a slice-of-life drama. Both are decent, but they don't entirely fit together, and it feels like trying to tie them together stopped either from getting a satisfying resolution

Also, yeah, this isn't really yuri. There's some interesting subtext, but it doesn't go anywhere

Not bad. In particular, I think it did a good job of balancing the comedy and the drama; these sort of series too often turn jarringly serious when it comes time for the plot to move

Starts off slow and focused way too much on making manga. After a while things start to actually happen, but it feels like it was designed to be frustrating to read. I really can't say that I liked this

We normally only ever see her stop time, but secondary materials do mention her being able to speed it up, so simply fast-forwarding to a point where the rain has stopped should be possible. Though, I don't think think an obvious answer like that is the intended case for such an artsy story...

That was a neat story. Started off fairly standard, then gets starts getting increasingly disturbing about halfway through
