Backstory-wise there's also Kallen and Yae Sakura who are quite canon but have the 'slight' problem of, well, having been dead for about five centuries and counting. The former being presently very much a (studiously preserved) corpse is the driving motivation of one of the story's primary not-quite-villains; while the latter is technically canonically a sort of ghost but has exactly zero presence in the main storyline, only appearing in a side chapter or two (and decidedly noncanon transient events).

While you are mostly correct, the pity counter does not carry over to limited banners like Nian and W. They have their own pity counters separate from the other banners.

Hence why I was talking about the new currency. The already extant counter is a different thing entirely and honestly something that can simply be ignored in practice - RNGesus giveth what He feels like whenever He feels like, anyway.

"As many as it takes" - it's RNG, there's no guarantees whatsoever. Even the pity mechanic only guarantees eventually getting a 6* Op, not necessarily the one you're after, so theoretically it's possible to make an infinite number of pulls without ever getting a specific one...

Basically if you really want a particular Op from a particular banner just hoard as much Originium and as many tickets as you can to maximise your chances.

Also does annihilation lungmen take less time to clear or chernobog? They take so long so even if I have to spend a bit more sanity for less irl time, I'd prefer that option.

I reckon 4x Lungmen Outskirts (aka Annihilation 2 for short) plus 2x Cherno (aka Anni 1) is the most economical when it comes to the sum of time, Sanity and effort spent - or that's what I run for the weekly cap anyway. Then again I play through an emulator on a desktop so I just set the auto running and tab to whatever so take the assessment with a grain of salt... :d
