Just marathoned that Teppu series. Not much actual yuri, but plenty of intense emotional connections between girls

I think the main appeal is really how twisted most everyone's personality is, though

For fanstuff, there's Secretary Fleet Girl Nagatsuki-chan. Starts off as more of a general comedy, but pretty quickly gets a romantic side

I know someone's been hard-translating it, but I'm not sure how far they've come

This story is something of a rewrite of The Flower that Follows the Sun, which has more explanations and more drama

The manga is using the Western range of hair colous; Akina is blonde, Touko and Konatsu are redheads, and everyone else is brunette. Green is still weird

Akina's slip/overreaction might be one thing, but did anyone else find Kaede's whole scenario rather suspicious? Deliberately setting up a yuri end between their characters, it almost seems like she was trying to give Akina a hint.

Well, the way it was set up it didn't have to be between their characters, but yes, quite suspicious. "She's a fujoshi, but she still likes girls!"

Oh, and Kaede's reaction to Akina's confession also suggests Akina's feelings aren't that one-sided

Caramel is pretty much the main character at this point... and she still doesn't get to be on the front cover
