Looks like Maid Dragon's BD's have short specials.

For once, a Kobayashi episode wasn't that enjoyable. Guess when there's no Kobayashi to play off it isn't as fun. That's fillers for you though. Hit or miss. This latest episode wasn't in the manga right?

Hmm, the new Kobayashi episode feels kind of off? Animation-wise, they over-animated Elma I think. Made her too over-the-top in her reactions and how it was animated. At least as far as I recall she didn't have such extreme reactions, art-wise. Could be misremembering though.

Kanna with her hair down was adorable though. I hope they include that particular thing more often. All-in-all a pretty nice episode, besides from feeling a bit off.

I hope she starts off the comic with them finding the ship and not after they've already got her. Backstory is nice.

Why do I think that she works in an establishment that provides a serving service. I forgot what the name of it was, you often see it with males in shoujo manga. Host club?

Phew, I'm glad then that "handjob allusion" completely went over my head and will be something that I'll never be able to understand. It feels nice to have a detached and relaxed viewing experience.

'Handjob allusion' is perhaps a bit strong, but the way they chose to show the 'lotion applying' scene made it seem that way to me.

That said, it seems more and more now that the family visit will be the end of the season. With how they took chapters past that point and show them now. Then again, the manga doesn't really have a strong story cohesion so, that works for it. I wonder if they're gonna add the Valentine's Day chapter. We're a little passed it but it's still somewhat relevant.

So they added Shouta and Lucoa to the beach part, which was wholly unnecessary. Only for the handjob allusion and again to make fun of her 'no-sense-about-dressing' trait. They added a little bit more to Kobayashi and Tooru's talk though which was very nice. Could've been even nicer if they didn't include the handjob duo and instead added a little more Kobayashi/Tooru antics or even more Kanna. But otherwise they got the chapter almost 1 to 1 so.

And the second part is the Comiket part from the manga, again, they added a little more between Kobayashi and Tooru (though that was more introspective which was nevertheless very good). This time the additional character wasn't unnecessary.

I would like to see a Kanna spin-off though xD 5-7 minisodes would be fine. Really like how so far they're keeping pretty much everything from the manga and even adding more yuri. I wonder if this is redemption for the Hibike thing? xD

yeah, if anything, they actually fleshed out that scene more, giving more time and body contact between Kanna and Saikawa during the twister game.

They've given a lot of additional scenes so far and they've all been good and added a little more to the relationship between the characters which I find good. Guess when the chapters are so short and it's not that far in general it's best to stretch out particular scenes and add others. In this case, they feel like they belong.

I wonder if they're gonna add the school visit chapter.

Well they animated that scene so it's all good now. Understandably censored what Kanna said, since they censored how Kobayashi imagined they licked each other, which makes me wonder if in the BDs they'll be uncensored. Also I'm guessing they're leaving Tooru's father visit for the end.

(And no I'm not watching previews of the next episode so if he's gonna show up next week then my guess is moot)

Edit: Though now that I re-read the chapter with Kanna and Saikawa I see it was censored there as well.

This was more like subtext. I think this is the first manga I've read that has an outright reference to a real band (Radwimps). Unless that was all the people that scanned it. Either way, they have really good songs.

It's nice they had a bit more of Saikawa, but as funny as it was, it felt like it was just reusing the same gag over and over again, wish they gave it a bit more thoughts. :/

As far as I recall, it was the same in the manga as well wasn't it? They were just spaced out a bit more. And then there was Kanna's part where she was more or less 'chasing' after Saikawa (in regards to the pushing down on the bed and the comment after that). Maybe they're building on more of that in the anime? Then again, that's most likely wishful thinking.

For fans of The Handmaiden, there's an extended version circulating some streaming sites. It's 20-ish more minutes. Keep in mind that it's not translated. Also the director said that there would be a Director's Cut sometime in the future, possibly this year, which makes the movie a little over 3 hours, so that one would be 40-ish new minutes added.

So Megumi is only interested in Risa because she's a kid. I wonder what will happen when Risa grows up. Will she go off her rocker and kill Megumi because she doesn't want her or what?

If it was not mentioned, 'Burning Love' has Korra's VA, Janet Varney, playing a closeted gay woman on a bachelor (parody?) dating show.

Haven't seen it.
