Always nice to reread this one. Cute and cool is a deadly combination and both Imari(s) displayed this perfectly. Especially Little Imari, I loved it when she gave Bitch-Ko what for in their confrontation and that she didn’t seem at all fazed by her injuries. Would’ve liked a kiss but their relationship is so concrete that the ending is perfect without it.

Anyway, I hope Rika never gets a happy ending. What an utterly irredeemable character.

Someone said before that she was supposed to be something of a punishment for Nanase, but ended up punishing the audience more. They were absolutely right, this is a perfect description for Mary.

I seriously was not expecting muscles girl to be that wholesome but it’s a nice surprise. This chapter is cements Ren and Ginno as best pair.

Visually stoic and emotionless kuudere types who are actually super loving and attentive are one of my favorite character archetypes. I ADORE Shiho.

I don’t know how easy or difficult this would be to implement, but could we have a ‘go to page’ for forum discussions? It’s always bugged me, especially as a primarily mobile Dynasty user, to have to go back only 4 pages at a time when reading a forum on a larger series.

For starters, tapping on the triple dots could bring up a box where we type in a page number and it would take us to that page in the discussion. This would make navigating through the much larger discussions (What’s that manga called? Bloom Into You, Citrus, Kase-san, 1 x 1/2, etc) a bit more convenient. Especially the ‘What’s that manga called?’

I’d very much appreciate it if this quality of life sort of thing could be implemented but completely understand if it’s too much trouble for what little it’s worth.

Page 3 is adorable. Hair mussing in general is such a cute and affectionate way of showing intimacy.

All I remember is that the MC is a convenience store worker who gets yelled at work a lot and her hands are dry and irritated from using so much hand sanitizer. I think the love interest was an OL who gives MC some hand cream? Not too sure about this part. Oh, and it was a one-shot as well.

... Because of this series and Madoka Magica, anytime a character says they’re not afraid anymore I know they’re going to die. Along with all the other death flags (backstory, kiss, precious gift, sudden contentedness). God, I knew it even from just the chapter title alone. So well done and sad. Despite this, I still can’t get over how preventable her death was. I was literally screaming at Seiran to get Mimi to heal her. Like, girl you have a super medic who restored a whole fucking arm RIGHT THERE, HEAL so you can get home to your squeeze.

On another note, I was glad the characters brought up the reanimation magic and was hoping they would go there. They didn't. Disappointing but understandable, it wouldn’t fit. Still, I miss Seiran and hate seeing Ari sad. Urgh, I just hope Shiina and Mimi get a happy ending.

I have a small hunch that this mangaka wanted to see these two fuck. Not too sure yet, but I’m onto something.

Like many others, I remembered loving this manga but being extremely dissatisfied about the fact there was no kiss scene or explicit confession. But upon reread, this ends almost perfectly save for being a bit abrupt. That moment where Shrimp Mayo is playing with Hotei’s hair while the two are giggling in utter bliss is so intimate that no kiss or even sex scene can at all compete. Like seriously, they’re in their own world having a “couples go die” sort of moment. Hana and her Hotei-esque friend is a cute touch as well.

I guess I was truly miffed that I wouldn’t see more of these characters because they’re great and fun to read about (except the big sister who I could never really like).

Also I know this is old but shouldn’t this warrant a Tsundere tag? Hotei fits the bill: starts off hating Ebisu, gossips about her, steals her shoes, goes on to become her wife.

Edit: Apparently there is a doujin where Hotei and Shrimp Mayo have sex but it leaves MUCH to be desired.

Maybe the new girl will, by basically attacking Nanase in the same way she attacked Momo, make Nanase realise that what she did to Momo was pretty messed up? Might be wishful thinking but that would be actual character development I could get behind

I hope this as well. Nanase reevaluating her approach toward Momo to be more loving and less sexual-harassing would be a refreshing change.

Anyways, on top of the possible character development Nanase could go through, I actually kinda like the new girl because of how blatantly unhinged and straightforward she is. Helps that she’s sorta cute in the same way. Still not looking forward to the pseudo-NTR that looks to be coming but it’s good that it’ll get the black hole to realize her feelings toward Nanase
