There was a manga that we had here a couple of months ago. What I remember of the conceit was it was two girls who had to sneak inside of a locker at school to hide from people, and then it gets really risque with some touchin' and I THINK an ear bite? When I went looking it looked like it might have actually been removed from the reader, but I might just not be able to find it.

It kinda just hits a lot of my interests lmao. Lots blushing, pining, grunge punk vibes, huge nerds, idiot couple, very gay. It's all my favorite things, its just right in my strike range lol. And judging by how people react, I think it's that way for a lot of people too.

You seem a little unclear on the meaning of the word "essence." Subtexts and stories whose themes are ambiguous or which can be read in multiple ways are the opposite of "essentially" trans stories.

I haven't really read up on the current conversation mind, I have no thoughts on that. But queer themes don't need to be, and are very often NOT, explicit. Especially considering how people treat trans people. I dunno if I personally would call this a trans story but I see nothing wrong with someone taking it that way, right?
