Who do I have to throw money at to get some more chapters out? This story is super important to me.

You can buy the official version, or you can donate to Sexy Akiba Detectives. That said, SAD is still working on this series, and have actually made pretty decent progress regarding the next few chapters.

An anime would be nice, if for no reason other than to see chapter 17 animated. Probably one of my absolute favourite confession chapters.

Though, a lot of this series' charm lies in its gorgeous artwork that would be lost in anime format. That said, seeing the dream sequence animated would be absolutely wonderful, so it's probably a worthwhile tradeoff.

I don't really like the "it's realistic" argument. Is talking about problems that unrealisitc for teenagers ? They are not really what i can call kids anymore, they are 2nd year of highschools. Meaning they are nearly adults, i get some people can have some communications problems but how 2 peoples talking about something that upset them is unrealistic ?

It's unrealistic to expect it to happen immediately. People need time to cool their heads, which is part of what's happening here. People need to be able to get angry, and they need to be able to let it out. It's an emotion everyone feels. Expecting them to immediately suppress it and have a levelheaded conversation isn't practical. The way they're handling is immature, sure. But having them immediately talk it out wouldn't be very good writing.

Are we sure these are the right tags for the series? Age Gap and Yuri, specifically. I think we're still in subtext territory, or am I forgetting something being explicitly said? I know it seems obvious that Midori was in love with Tsugumi, but I don't remember that being confirmed.

I can argue for Yuri/Subtext but Age Gap is kinda true even if it's not romantic.

The Age Gap tag has very obvious romantic implications.

That's it. Up until now Chidori and Nanoho's physical attraction seems to have been abstract. A vague notion. I believe this is the moment where physical attraction starts to turn sexual. Our girls are growing up. (wiping away a little tear)

Interesting. This might be what the series needs to go from good to great. The fluff has been fun, but at least for me, there's an upper limit to how much I can enjoy a story when there's no character or plot development. I love the idea of them opening up to each other a bit more. Could be really sweet.

I'm not sure if this counts as a suggestion, but are there any plans to improve on the upload approval speed of new chapters? For example, there are some questions on the forums about why the most recent Virgins' Empire chapters aren't up yet. Another example would be Hana ni Arashi chapter 66, which was uploaded 9 hours ago to Yuri Project and submitted here at least 8 hours ago, has yet to be approved.

Of course, that's not to say the delay in releases is a huge deal, but it's certainly something that could be improved upon. The longer Dynasty takes to approve a chapter, the more page views and discussion it will lose out on.

I suppose my suggestion would be to consider adding more approved uploaders in order to reduce the downtime between submission and approval.

Similarly, the tag suggestion seems to have very slow approval rates. (I submitted a tag for Fuwafuwa Futashika Yume Mitai about a week ago, and it is still pending).

I'm not seeing any poly vibes here. Nanoha is simply oblivious to Mai's feelings for her. I'm not even sure if Chidori is picking up on Mai's feelings. She's just jealous of the fact that Mai's known Nanoha longer than her and knows about her childhood and stuff and that Nanoha is spending more time with her lately. I don't think she is jealous in terms of thinking that Nanoha is cheating or that Mai has a crush on her. She's just jealous of the time she's losing.

I think it's mostly people just liking the idea of poly representation, and possibly people warming up to Mai, as she's been a lot more likeable these past few chapters. I don't think anyone is expecting a series so laser focused on its main couple to ever turn into a poly series.

Did it really though? It took 48 chapters for a kiss, and it's been less than 10 since Mai's introduction. What progress were you expecting this quickly, anyway? Even with Mai around, we've had home visits, an increasing desire for kissing and physical contact (see ch 61), and love letters.

For what it's worth, the first "I love you" from Chidori was chapter 24: https://mangadex.org/chapter/479266/11. Maybe earlier, but that's the earliest instance I can remember.

she have circumstances about that's still damn slow for 2 girls who are supossingly dating plus we just go out of the Chidori's Senapi arc so having another rival right off the bat is annoying. It's up to personal opinion but the pacing make it hard to not see Mai as a potential problem.

You're free to hold that opinion of course, but it's worth noting that the previous love rival was specifically used as a vehicle for progression. Mai, by comparison, is far less antagonistic than the sempai was, and she is also being used as a vehicle for progression. That just isn't her sole purpose like it was for the sempai.

Really, most of the more recent chapters just feel more positively heart-touching than usual.

To anyone who read the raws of the chapters yet to be scanlated and put here;
How long should I expect this feeling I mentioned in the first sentence of this comment to hold up?

Well, it's a fluff series first and foremost. The next few are really cute and should be up relatively soon, then we go into another end of volume arc. People who have read the raws will have their speculations on what exactly happens, but until we actually get to it, they're all probably going to be inaccurate and / or overblown.

To any mods that might read this: Chapter 61 marks the beginning of volume 6. 61-63 are currently categorized as part of volume 5 on the series page.

Oh, the mangaka didn't drag the realization of feelings out. One chapter, nice and neat. Fantastic, I like it.

edit: I acknowledge that it can take much longer to really process your feelings in real life, but it's also nice to see a case where it processes relatively quickly.

Well, the chapter does note that they've spent at least a few months together already. First time I fell in love, it was a matter of weeks. It's different for everybody.

Although the artist seems to be bad at drawing the characters facing each other. Ch09 looks like a visual novel at the end.

She's a pretty young author, so she is still on the inexperienced side of things. As a result, some panels do feel a bit awkward, but overall I still think the art is nice, and the character writing is pretty fantastic.

igenetycs, I've been continuing to read Aerial Magic (a bit into season 2 now) and oh my gosh thank you so much this is absolutely delightful. Jo especially is just god damn amazing, but I love them all. Would recommend it without question to anyone reading this.

It's a beautifully crafted webtoon. It's all one person doing the writing, artwork, and even the music! Both seasons are a 10/10 to me, but I think I like the second one even better. I love the way Cecily's relationships with Lachlan and Josette are explored throughout it. It's really beautiful and touching.

Now this is an odd one, but hear me out. I'm not exactly asking for recommendations, but rather the collective memory of this community.
Do you know any manga that turned out to have a surprise yuri pairing/ending that was not like easily telegraphed by the tag or plot?

The only ones I really remember being surprised by are Gamma and Negima , although the later messed it up in the spin-off.
I've been thinking about that a lot lately because of a conversation I had, but despite feeling like it's a regular occurance I somehow can't remember any.

Can't help with the polyamory, but "Aerial Magic" is on webtoons.com and features a yuri couple with a trans woman (profile picture related!). One of my all time favourite series.
