So is this worth picking up again or are they still just good friends?
They have difficulties in terms of friendship at the moment but difficult to understand the essence of konatsu's thinking, jealous that honami is other friends? she doesn't know what her feelings are so to see in the next chapters if it's love jealousy or not.
Konatsu's issue right now is that she feels ashamed of herself for not being entirely happy about Koyuki managing to open up and find new friends and for desiring for Koyuki to stay the same so that she'll remain the only person Koyuki will open up with. This stems from her own loneliness and desire to be considered special by someone (either as a friend or romantically, this is what the author will likely never clarify and leave up to the reader's interpretation). Of course this is a contradiction since Konatsu herself was the one who pushed Koyuki to break out of her shell, so she thinks it would be wrong to talk to her about this, that the issue lies entirely with herself and she should bottle it up and pretend she's okay with the current situation for Koyuki's sake. There is no simple solution since Konatsu would have to admit to her selfishness and Koyuki might not respond positively to it. I think Konatsu will definitely have to learn to accept that Koyuki will have other people she can rely on from now on, but at the same time Koyuki will come to realize that she and Konatsu still need each other and that their bond and mutual understanding will always be deeper than what she could have with anybody else.
Kaede got herself into a real mess, but her method of indirectly prodding both of them is the most appropriate.
Right but konatsu is playing a dangerous game because she wants to keep honami to herself selfishly and tries to avoid it but by moving away from honami she was creating an even bigger problem, it's more about self-destruction than anything else.
It's just this scenario that I find improbable, sabotaging a big friendship for trivia instead of trying to strengthen it, in short konatsu is still a hell of a caricature of everything you shouldn't do!
Moreover, the author uses the only possible solution to repair the damage, i.e. a mediator like kaede, otherwise everything would be ruined.
I can't even imagine if it was a love story!
On the other hand honami is also blind to not notice anything, I don't mind that they are shy characters but her closest friend behaves strangely and she acts as if nothing were wrong.

Classic 'build your friend up, your friend finds new friends and you feel lonely' story. I think Konatsu is afraid Honami is friend-cheating on her. She knows I guess that Honami will eventually leave for college. I guess Konatsu wants to tell her that she'll:
A. Miss her?
B. Wants to stay longterm friends with her?Konatsu is being unreasonably awkward. Maybe she thinks she has nothing more to give now that Honami has more friend juice these days (strength to be social, positive and friendly; outgoing). Konatsu awkwardly believes she shouldn't dabble with Honami anymore, after all she has Kaede and stuff now.
Yet we see that Honami is already losing her grip a little and isn't totally confident.
Since yuri is so shameful, I guess it will be a friends confession after all. "I want to be friends with you!" "Oh God, seriously!"
They sure don't act like friends right now, who knew the road to friendship was so rocky? Or they're both awkward as hell.
True for a story of understanding about friendship it still goes far in non-dialogue, they have just met each other which is obviously not the case...
But well we'll see how things will evolve already with the karaoke party or honami should not be super comfortable unless there too it unlocks, or the two friends meet singing a song at the same time!
Now if the next chapter is just a kind of reunion of the kind we become great friends again, then the scenario will also be flawed and the story will become eternal for nothing.
Fortunately there's no way it will be, after all over the last two or three chapters we've been shown Kaede working up a resolve to see things through personally for those useless les...subtext friends.
Yeah, it's still a story to push the kaede character who is exceptionally a Samaritan woman ^^
In fact, what is the pseudo problem between the two, everything is fine and all of a sudden it makes friends who no longer understand each other and don't talk to each other, it makes it a little big anyway.
So much drama if it's just for a friendship story would be disappointing... I find honami's attitude towards konatsu really not nice, to put it aside when it's not invasive at all and hide things from her...
A little too easy as a shy reaction. And she waits until the last week to tell him she's leaving to study?
Now if the next chapter is just a kind of reunion of the kind we become great friends again, then the scenario will also be flawed and the story will become eternal for nothing.
I love uta but kaoru has nothing to do with it the poor girl! everything falls on her and that she is too naive or kind is not a defect in itself, she really has no chance that on one side her husband cheats and that on the other side her little sister is crazy in love with her... she does everything possible to make her walk and for uta and with reiichi.
In any case, there is a much better chance that it will end well for uta than for kaoru.
In my opinion this story with senpai is not over.....
Well, are they or did they think they were going to play with dolls? ^^
So, we have uploaded other 7 chapters (7 days ago, but they're still not here yet), for the next ones we'll take some more days due to some vacations (but some Chads are still working on them). We'll be back soon!
Thank you very much !
Yes, you asked the same thing for bloom into you or haze I don't think no... And then frankly you have to be naive not to see that this manga doesn't go in the same direction as citrus eh...
What you are asking is to change the soul and style of the story, the best thing is to go your way...
People want to go too fast but precisely the relationship between them will evolve and I think in the right direction, yori has understood that kino does not know what true love means and she will help her ^^
i don´t see their relationship changing that much at this point, the only thing left is they getting together,
i have to agree with Serenata ,right now is the perfect time to introduce a new character or plot to avoid getting stale
There are several ways to do this, festivals, school trips, birthdays and especially concerts to have pleasant moments of life..... like the fantastic Tsurezure Biyori, tadokoro san or kase san which although without drama we spend great moments... if you still want drama or another eternal triangle or square there are plenty like the unrequieted love or luminous=blue...
I like both types but the whispering is not in this category much more in the bloom into you category and it suits me very well.
Yes, it's impossible for yori to abandon kino, she loves her deeply and will seduce her with a beautiful song she wrote ^^
Kino is not a sadist, she is just a girl who has not fallen into the world of relationships and she is such a pure and honest girl at the same time. That's also why Yori loves her so much.

A picture of it maybe ? https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/luminousblue_ch04#30
After rereading as much amane and kou are characters quite simple to describe and predicted so much nene is a much more complex character. She has feelings for love amane but she also has feelings for kou it feels and is seen. It has many facets ,many personalities and I don't think it will be as simple as at the end of the last chapter to really unlock the bottom of his mind with group photo session.
For me we don't know completely what nene thinks and wants.
For the sempai it is the same she is only an observer who regales herself with the disappointments or joys of a loving relationship? or is she looking to have a love affair or further on maybe nene? mystery .
In a sense today even kaoru wants shizuka to really fall in love with someone else and hopes that she will do it with mio.
What could help her is that kaoru is really a "serious" relationship with another girl because as long as kaoru is just flirting, shizuka still has hope.
I had the feeling that Shisuka was a bit off from the second volume: I realized that she was the only character that wasn't blushing even in the most extreme situations. Expecially here https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/virgins_empire_ch40#4
She is really superb, magnificent this shizuka ! she looks like to seduce a girl in kaoru but where kaoru stops at a kiss and a kind of hypnosis, shizuka is all about physical provocation but so sensual ^^
And yes, she has a lot of difficulty turning the page with kaoru, it seems she doesn't accept it even though she knows it's over.
Kinda surprised to see Whispering a Love Song in 4th place. I like it but it's been kinda… generic so far…?
I don't know how to explain it but the atmosphere of this manga is special, its attack from the beginning, the main characters are adorable and the secondary characters although not many are not badly written. The potential on understanding himari's love through a yori song could be really nice if it is well done.
Personally I am like Tsurezure Biyori's, which unfortunately ends next month and which also creates a beautiful atmosphere with a drawing on the facial expression of the top characters.
Btw we know how many chapters that story will have?
No mention for its end, we can base ourselves on the potential volumes which contain 5 chapters... Se which means that we will certainly have at least 5 chapters because the last volume comes out this month if containing chapters 21 to 25. But given the time the author takes to develop his story it would take between 15 and 20 chapters in my opinion. For the record, no chapter this month.

Why why why the authors at this time had trouble finishing their works correctly, it is disappointing even if you have to respect your choice...
But as long as there is enough to finish, the end is rusher at full speed....
Why not 3 or 4 chapters like the author does for bloom into you?
At worst take a break, because this manga still had potential with the different characters.
Too bad it was a nice and beautiful yuri who stood out from the crowd.
So we won't be allowed to go on school trips, to the pool, to the festival with fireworks, to birthdays ^^

For me is like Shizuka is mad that Kaoru is making that face and experiencing those feelings for the first time, means that whatever they had in the past was only serious for her but not Kaoru, so in her shoes, even if we're no longer dating... That would hurt me too.
...except she's making the exact same face as way back when, ie. she's acting the same as presumably back when the two of them first got together (incidentally given her flabbergasted look my theory is Shizuka had to make the first moves to get the ball rolling at the time). Also Kaoru's the one who went terminally apathetic when they broke up so it sure seems to have been serious enough for her...
Rather I think Shizuka's panicking because she just realised she's losing the "first place" that has essentially defined their relationship for the past few years - she's now looking at a shared spot at the very best and far more likely second place, and that's clearly one bitter pill for her to swallow. Note also her downright desperate tone with Mio...
Way I read it it just dawned to her Kaoru's finally begun moving on from their old familiar routine and she's both frightened of, and feeling orphaned by, the somewhat sudden crumbling of the status quo.
Growing up is hard, as it were.
Yes, but the kaoru of the past is no longer the same as today, like a vampire it gives happiness without ever falling in love. With shizuku she was supposed to start...
Her feeling at the level of the excitement of her heart, it is the first time she feels it, just as it is the first time she looks down in front of a look, it is power 10 which makes her jealous shizuku who did not have the same return and she does not understand it.
We also see 3 meetings with bouchan 3 shocks for her with in addition to statements that it is the first time in her life that she expects so much from a girl in front of the school and others underheard....
Today's kaoru is much much much harder to impress than it was then, once again bravo a senpai mask and his killing eyes.
https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/virgins_empire_ch132#5 kaoru herself said before being struck by lightning by bouchan that mask senpai is just a pretty girl like shizuka… Bouchan has his eyes has something more obvious.

Yes and shizuka is furious because she realizes that kaoru's first true love will not be her despite all her years.
Kaoru discovers love, it's still funny but just so interesting in terms of evolution.
Because she is no longer in a position of strength, of dominance to seduce, she will have to make efforts to get closer to masksenpai and I look forward to her.
It's probably telling that Kaoru seems to be equal parts confused, amazed and fascinated by her own emotional responses. (Shizuka's flashback of her presumably middle-school self reacting similarly also suggests a few things.)
Dis gurl b odd, yo.
Yes shizuka knows her better than anyone and in addition kaoru has gained a lot of confidence and experience since their past relationship.
Where it is not misleading either is that kaoru talks about bouchan and his hobbies a shizuka when we know that she is very selfish and stingy to talk about other girls.
So such a reaction is exceptional and that's what makes shizuka very jealous.

Holy shit, Kaoru and the Bou-chan. I love this trope where the playboy/girl is the one who is heads over heels.
I love it too! Even tho I can understand why some people say it's been done to death, lol. Romantic fantasy novels for women use the trope all the time, the playboy nobody had ever resisted before who obsesses over the one woman in the world who dares reject him. I wonder if it's truth in fiction?
I think rather that kaoru fell in love with the first meeting with bouchan except that not knowing what love feelings are, she took it as just a challenge.
Except that the library repetiton masksenpai stares at her with her gaze and kaoru can no longer say a word, she still thinks that it is the words like "nuisance" that shock her the most.
So our vampire leaves on her and her charm and in a second by crossing her eyes she remains totally shocked and discovers in fact that she fell in love at first sight.
But in my humble opinion it is from the beginning that she falls in love with the side of mask senpai who is not interested at all in kaoru, which adds even more fascination for her.
The first met : https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/virgins_empire_ch113#9
The story with kuroe is only to bring "humour" to the other events that are the arrival of the mother of uta, the rejection of kaoru to the declaration of uta and the departure of uta... this story is only for that.
The author must absolutely accelerate on important points important priority on the risako-kaoru-reii trio with a parallel on the reunion between uta and his parents.
But it is true that the author does not have much logic about interesting priorities such as the feeling of kaoru that we hardly see expressed after his rejection and which would have been much more interesting than rather pathetic dialogues with the secondary characters.
Or he takes his time and his manga will be 60 chapters long.
It will be very interesting the kaoru-mask senpai part....Kaoru will have to change her approach because she is already disturbed by the mask eagle's gaze but moreover she knows that her immense charm has no effect on her... Should it be specified that our vampire has this feeling of love for the first time in her life, well played mask senpai !
I also like the way the honoka duo and their blondie are going. She lets go more and more and becomes more affectionate with her.
It seems that the age of Japanese students in middle school ranges from 13 to 16 years old and finally in high school from 16 to 18 years old...
It also seems to me that Midori when she talks about the haru age says that it is the 14 years or she knows nothing about tsugumi.....
https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/haru_and_midori_ch01#47
Finally Midori naive did not see anything or wanted to notice out of friendship or love the problems of tsugami.
Tsugami may have gotten pregnant at the very end of mid-school... I feel that tsugami's story is likely to be extremely painful and Midori's regrets will be amplified because tsugami was really alone.
