I swear, most of the girls in this manga don't seem to have a working libido.

Adolescence is a time of bursting sexuality and raging hormones. The brains of these girls should be going overdrive with sensual urges. And yet, most of them show zero sexual reaction to physical stimuli: even when they are alone in the house with their love interest and have just shared a kiss on the mouth, they don't seem to be aware of what comes next.

Some are exceptions. There's Nao, the pervy one, and then Mio and Shizuka; they're the biggest exceptions. Kaoru, big vamp that she is, must have a sexual interest in all those girls she seduces. And Mari actually has had onscreen orgasms, helped by Yuu... who strangely never seems to be turned on by the sadistic things she does (she does enjoy herself, yes, but it appears to be purely cerebral).

And what about the others?

Y de una se están revelando los secretos del pasado, al fin en el c23 vimos a la mamá de Shinobu en flashback (igualita a Shinobu, cero suspense, lol) y en este nos revelan las circunstancias de la muerte durante la guerra -- y el efecto que tuvo en Kagami y su madre (o sea la "tía" de Shinobu). Menudo trauma, todo dicho, pff, me encanta esa costumbre de los traductores españoles de poner comentarios en las propias páginas. :P

La señora Kagami Kikyou ya me tiene hasta el moño con su egocentrismo histérico. A su hija Fujino la trató toda la vida con negligencia, a Chiyo la quería monopolizar a pesar de que por cobarde nunca se le declaró, dsp de la muerte de Chiyo le endilgó la culpa a la pobre Fujino que no tenía nada de responsabilidad en el asunto, a Shinobu la educó para ser una segunda Chiyo (no estoy segura de si ya con planes de hacerla su amante desde que Shinobu era chica), y lo peor: cuando descubre que Fujino y Shinobu están enamoradas le declara la guerra a su hija y le torpedea su status en la academia... todo porque quiere quedarse ella con Shinobu. Una lindura de suegrita, lpqlp.

Yes, I am certain that it's a mistake. The illustrations show Yuzu handing Momo a glass of water in that scene. I'd really like to know where in the world people serve rice in tall glasses. Also, translating "お冷" into "cold rice" is a common mistake made by people who rely on machine translations or OCRs.

Hmm... but it's not that obvious that it's a glass of water she's holding. The first time I read that scene, I assumed it was a bowl. And the whole thing with giving her cold water... in Japan, it's standard practice in any eatery, but it doesn't translate that well in other countries. I tried a thing: I showed some of my friends the untranslated Japanese page and told them "En esta escena, dice: Aquí tienes agua fría, Momose." And the replies I got were along the lines of "¿Y para qué quiere agua fría la tía esta? ¿Para el radiador de su auto?"

Translating "ごめんけど、私にそういう気はないし…" (Sorry, I don't have those kinds of feelings/I don't swing that way) into "Lo siento, de verdad. No era esa mi intencion." (I'm very sorry, but that wasn't my intention.) is also incorrect, no matter how you spin it.

Yes, I did wonder about that part, too. I wonder if "I don't swing that way" isn't a bit heavy-handed for a statement that, in typical Japanese way, is vague and relies a lot on the context. If, in that scene, Momose had just rejected Yuzu in such a strong way, there's no reasonable explanation for the events at the end of chapter 3 and the beginning of chapter 4 (Momose tells Yuzu she wants to be normal friends, and Yuzu reacts as someone who has been rejected and is taking the rejection very badly, ignoring Momo for several weeks) since Yuzu should know already that Momo doesn't want her and thus Momo's words at the end of ch3 wouldn't really add anything new to the equation.

For example, just in the first page of Chapter 1, the Spanish translation of "先輩、お冷どぞ," (Here's some cold water, Senpai.) was "Aqui tienes tu bol de arroz, Momose" (Here's your bowl of rice, Momose.). The mistake is in the official Spanish release (which sadly translated into zats' original Englsih TL), which leads me to question if they're actually "professionals."

Este manga es lo mismo: Kaori (que nos han dicho es la chica más popular del colegio) quiere tener un amorío con Shizuku (aislada e ignorada por todos) porque admira las novelas que escribe Shizuku.

I kept thinking while reading this story that the main plot point didn't make sense: even if you're really tired, that shouldn't stop you from wanting to have sex. In fact, it's often the other way around: sex can be very refreshing, especially for the tired mind!

But of course if the problem is, not tiredness, but that you have been forcing yourself to be a top/dom even tho you don't like it at all (because the real you is a total sub with masochistic leanings), then everything suddenly makes sense! I realized, reading this chapter, that one of the reasons I love this manga is that the characters have so many traits stereotypically found in yuri manga stories. For example: Blondie, in this chapter, turns out to be a male version of Touko from Umineko: the possessive psycho friend who tries to isolate the MC from everyone else to make sure they will always be at their side (and goes bananas when the plan fails, lolol). I guess some of you won't like to find typical yurigirl quirks and qualities in male characters, whatever their orientation, but I'm okay with it: in the end, these are just devices to make the plot advance.
