I read the first chapter, and based on the vibes it feels like the sort of thing I would like, but only once it's complete. Provided the ending doesn't suck. Thus, I've marked the rest as to-read, and will wait until whenever it's all up to properly read through it.

Honestly, my stance on incest is that it's fine as long as there's not a significant age gap involved (like a parent/child situation) at which point it would also be pedophilia and thus actually a problem. But like, incest between siblings or cousins or whatever doesn't really bother me inherently; at that point it's just down to whether or not the actual relationship dynamics are healthy, just like any other couple. Thus why I really dislike Mei and Yuzu from Citrus, but some of the like, actually biologically related sibling ships out there don't bother me in the slightest, because the way they're actually written is healthy and wholesome.

Anyway, that whole discussion aside, this seems pretty fun. Part of me is kinda hoping that at some point it'll progress past this initial round of misunderstandings and develop the actual relationship, because Shio's sort of like, oppositional mindset and evident inferiority complex feels like it could go from funny to kinda grating if it gets dragged out too long, but at least at the moment I'm enjoying seeing this play out.

Kafka's definitely an interesting name for the other girl. Makes me think of Kafka from Arknights, though personality-wise she's very very different.

I'm really loving this so far. There's just a really genuine, thoughtful, and emotionally mature approach to their split that I haven't seen anywhere else, and I really look forward to seeing this progress.

Reread this one to refresh myself since it's been a while, and honestly I feel like the hostility toward it is a bit overdone. Still waiting for this to truly show its hand with whatever the morals committee gal's big secret is, which will probably give me a better idea overall where this is going, but the new chapter has certainly introduced some interesting new insight into her thought process with that last scene. Overall, I like the pacing; taking its time, but with the inherent animosity between the leads keeping it from feeling too relaxed. There's a sense of mystery at play here, and I kinda appreciate the level of restraint that's been shown so far. There's been a few manga that have managed to give me the impression of color even despite the black-and-white pages, and this one feels like a murky golden-orange shade; that of sunset, of streetlamps at night, and of murky feelings where genuine dislike is mixed in with the sexual tension. I'm really curious to see how this will unfold, and if it is indeed something more like I'm feeling, or if everyone else is right in criticizing it so much ^^;

Waiting for the poly gang and their classic "poly was better, mangaka too scared to go thru"

Poly would be cool, but I respect that in this case it would run counter to the themes the mangaka is trying to convey.

Still would love to see some more poly tho

I love that adorable helmet XD

Kind of a typical setup but still one I love seeing. That whole "oh boy two cakes!" principle and whatnot. Looking forward to seeing how this develops!

This is my first exposure to the franchise, so I'm just enjoying this. Usually not a fan of the overly forward types, but I really like how Kaede's written, being just, super wholesome and supportive without trying to dismiss or control Riri's feelings. Not sure how I feel about Yuyu so far, honestly. The whole "senpai savior who's changed by the time the protagonist catches up to her due to the loss of a loved one in the intervening time" is kind of a cliche for these sorts of stories, but if they do it well I'm sure I'll come around to her. But at the moment, I can't help but feel like Riri's barking up the wrong tree when Kaede is literally right there. Tragically monogamous...

Yeah, this feels like a pretty obvious parody takedown of the whole unfortunate Slave trend. I'm no isekai fan myself, and I hate the gross incel-y trend set by Shield Hero and the like, so I enjoy how this looks to be setting out to shred that stuff.

I'm interested in seeing what happens with this reporter. Conventional logic dictates that she'll be next in line to get Miyako's services, but it would be interesting if the overall plot involved her efforts to take down Nakano, with Miyako getting caught up in the middle.

Well, I certainly didn't expect the chapter to end like that...

Maybe we should upload the rest of this! Permission pending. I'll ask around. I originally stopped because of a sharp drop in quality after it switched hands from Amarrez, but... it seems fine now?

Personally I support this. I think the manga is very interesting and sweet and I think the other users here would like it as well.

Thirded. I read this last night, and it looks great so far!

Bad sales

Nope, the artist made it clear that they only planned on adapting the first volume and sales met expectations.

That quip someone made a few pages back about the artist clearly just being here for the dubcon is looking amusingly accurate now lol

This was kinda wild from the outset but I love how increasingly batshit it's getting. Sooner or later this is going to be about an alien invasion or something.

I really like how it ended. It felt like it was initially just a shallow rehashing of typical harem tropes, but the last few chapters actually managed to turn it into a thoughtful analysis of the genre's conventions and skewer Tsukabe's obsessive adherence to them, in a way that still kept the general silly lighthearted tone. Good times.

As said up above, I'd love to see an extra or something getting into the adventures of actually managing and maintaining a successful poly relationship, but still, this was a solid place to end things.

I'll admit, based on the title I always expected this one to be a whole lot more angsty and dramatic, but I'm glad I finally gave it a chance, because holy shit that was sweet ^^

Kinda hoping we can get a continuation or a spinoff with the neighbor, since that never really got resolved, but I really love how the main story wrapped up. As always I'd love to see more, but I definitely feel like this ended on a really good note already :)

I have one of two guesses about Rio - she's either exactly what she seems; an annoying, gleefully unemployed freeloader who, while not malicious per say, makes a habit of leeching off her friends and is generally a pain in the neck. Alternatively, she's someone used to putting a happy face on her very real troubles and may suffer either from depression or general "genuinely doesn't know how to adult properly" syndrome. I'm kinda hoping for the latter angle on her character, personally.

Either way, regardless of the reasons for her behavior, I feel like the doom and gloom about her is a bit premature. I do get it - she's set up as an annoying character, so seeing more of her means more exposure to her annoyingness, and she's probably gonna throw Ruriko and Kurumi's home life out of whack, even if unintentionally, for the next while. However, a big theme around her introduction is how it brings up a side of Ruriko that Kurumi hasn't known until now, so I'm hoping that rather than just existing as a roadblock like people fear, she can also bring a new perspective and unconventional developments along with the negative aspects of her presence.

At the very least, I forsee a mixture of her genuinely trying to wingwoman for Ruriko offsetting her disruptiveness, that could be quite amusing if done well. And so far, the author hasn't done anything to hurt my trust in that.

This feels like the kind of edgy middle school stuff I would have loved as a kid. For that alone, I'm subscribing.

Between this and "There's no way I could have a lover!" I increasingly get the sense that Teren Mikami has kind of a sketchy idea of what makes a good romance. I would still say I prefer this one to the other, since even if that one lacked the more explicit scenes, just the overall relationship dynamic there felt uncomfortably predatory and manipulative. Here, there's at least the understanding that Marika is interested in Aya, and deep in denial about her own sexuality, that makes the relationship work for me. I really liked the first half of the chapter!

But yeah, the rape scene, let's call it what it is, really challenged my interest in continuing with this. The only thing that sort of saves it for me is Marika offering to pleasure Aya in return, but the fact remains that Aya pushed and pushed in the first place even when she repeatedly said no. Just going by the general pattern established so far in both this and the author's other works, it feels like this isn't going to be treated as something Aya did wrong that she needs to learn from and act differently.

It sucks, because despite the name, the rest of the story thus far has been a really interesting, thoughtful look at someone discovering their sexuality and everything that comes with that, such as the bar chapters. But whenever it strays into sexual content it gets very uncomfortable, and while if addressed properly that could make Aya a very interesting flawed character, right now it feels like she's only a few steps removed from being the creepy dude from Fifty Shades Of Grey. If Aya hasn't shaped up by the end of this hundred days, I would hope Marika dumps her and finds a better girlfriend.

I don't know if I'll drop this yet, and hopefully this will be the worst it gets, but it's on real thin ice.

Man Saki is so damn hard on herself in a way that I don’t think we ever really get in romance series. Most romantic leads have a tragic past that makes them emotionally distant or hard on themselves, meanwhile hurricane Saki is over here like “I’m such a piece of shit for liking this girl” and overthinks every damn thing.

Also, just gotta appreciate the irony of her self-flagellating leading to her doing dumber shit that could have been avoided without. I cringed really hard when she brought up the teacher, and I think all the roasting over that was deserved, but even so, she needs hugs. This was a pretty important talk for them to have...

I hope these other two that got introduced will stick around. Polycule polycule polycule

I mean this honestly -- it's quite interesting that this manhua made its protagonist so unlikeable. She might have her reasons, it appears Obsidian not only killed her adoptive father but betrayed her to do so, but right now she's basically a racist cop who doesn't even care about collateral damage lol.

Yeah, she definitely has a lot of room to grow, lol, and I can't wait to see how it happens.

I do like that they opened up on this flagrant berserker moment to have Obsidian foil it, though, because it establishes right off the bat that whoever Obsidian used to be, her post-amnesia self is undeniably a good person. Even if it takes a while for Xiao Yu to accept that, this incident isn't something she can just ignore, even if she'll absolutely try to at first.

Despite the sort of abrupt, fizzly ending, I really love this, and catching up on it was a real treat ^^

Hope we get a Part 2, though!
