A Room For Two should get an update soonish... I was about to pick it up for translating (We actually started working on it already) when the previous translator messaged me that they already have some chapters about to be ready and they're going to be out soon... According to their words, that is.

Oh that is awesome to hear. It is one my favorite series and it just a shame it has fallen so far behind. I was even looking into the possibility of ordering from Japan at one point even though I can't read a word of japanese. I've also seen plenty of other people asking about releases for it. The series just has a certain uniqueness to it that gives it a special feel when reading that I haven't seen to much with many other stories.

Maybe if the original translators do start back up proper with regular releases try finishing instead the Maria Watches Over Us or Kanamemo instead. Personally I really want know where the different people in the memo cast end up. For some reason so many yuri/shoujo ai manga get dropped at the mid way point of their series.

Catulus Syndrome would be another one that has online publications but translations got dropped.

I've been working on the rest of this series for about the past month now and I'm maybe a week away from finishing. Depending on how long it takes for upload requests to go through, you might see chapters 19-27 appear here by the next weekend.

Any plans to pick up any other series after this is finished? Both the Maria Watches Over Us manga and Kanamemo got dropped when they were around halfway to 3/4 the way through. Or there is A Room For Two that is still ongoing but the group doing it has pretty much stopped.

This is turning out to be unexpectedly great. Ena is cute and they've got a Yuzu/Mei dynamic going on. I especially like that Ena can't just pull her out of her doubt and trepidation impulsively like this - she's no manic pixie dream girl who says all the right things all the time.

Thing with Citrus is that it was aggressively marketed and the author pushed to get a anime made instead of waiting to get chosen. Its successs isn't so much based on the quality of its story but more because the people behind it.

So uhh what happen to the yuri love triangle that got kicked off back in the chapter where the aunt was over and the three girls were there? I think the aunt even realized what was up and noticed Eri's feelings.

I like how all her friends realize she is in love with another girl and just goes with it even if main girl won't admit to it herself.

It's one of the recurrent problem in martial arts, especially the female sections. Once you've attained a certain level, opponents become really scarce and you stop getting matches, unless you expatriate.

I forget the details but they actually mess with the weight classes in Japan because of the tendency of japanese fighters being smaller. So it won't be as hard to find opponents.

Well, that was vague

It wasn't "vague", it was something else. The school here is sort of the connection between life, and the afterlife. Graduation symbolizes moving on. The flower withering means that she wasn't truly dead, and since she's not dead. The place of the "dead" holds no place for her. It's implied all over that she's having difficulty breath, because that's how she went into coma. Monica realizes that she's dead when she turns into bones, and tells Fine that she can't follow her right now, but she's gonna keep the promise of "graduating" moving on together.

The end is rather dreadful, since both girls meet up, and you see Fine as a young girl rather than an old woman. Did she kill herself?

I take it as it is like a purgatory for young girls who died where they wait till they are emotionally/mentally ready to move on what is symbolised by them completing the flower things. When they complete it thats shows they are ready. Leaving the place the way they tried was them returning to the physical world and their bodies there. Since Monica was long dead her body was a decomposing corpse she was returning to and that is why that happen to her body.

After Fine had woken up she lived her life and died at a old age. Since the people in charge it all weren't assholes they let her become a young girl again and return to the girl who spent decades waiting for her friend to return instead of completing her flower ring and moving on. That is why they showed Monica with the long flower chain representing the long passage of time.as she waited. Now that they are reunited Monica can finally complete her flower ring and Fine can guide her to the other side as they go there together.

It would been better if they showed Fine as a old women first meeting Monica again then turning back into a young girl as they are reunited. To many authors are stuck on the idea they have make something vague with a abstract ending to make their story artistic and beautiful. Sometimes a nice solid complete ending can really be just as good if not better.

Edit: The flower ring on her finger was something she brought back with her from the other side showing her it hadn't just been a dream.

Would been better if Fine showed back up as a old lady in front of Monica then upon seeing her she turned back into a young girl and they embrace crying in happiness.

I really hope the ova gets picked up by CR.

Prediction: Molester-san will eventually come back (if not in the next chapter right away) and somehow Lazyeyes-san will fall in love with her despite how bad their first meeting went.

Knew a girl who actually did something like this. First time she met this guy she ended up calling the cops on him having him arrested at some bar apparently. Later she married him....

Seems like this series is wrapping, though. I'd say maybe another 5-10 chapters? Unless the author pulls a fast one and extends this to friggin' 50 chapters somehow, but tbh, I kind of don't want that. YagaKimi is one of those few mangas where I wouldn't be upset if it ended in the next 5-10 chapters simply because it's already that good of a story.

I might be wrong but I think there's just one volume left. The Seven Seas website lists five volumes, and we're at the end of the fourth. Bloom was definitely meant to have a finite length.

Chapter 28 marks the end of volume 5. Someone should edit the chapters section on this site. Also, no idea about Seven Seas, but I know volume 4 isn't out in english yet. And they are just translators not a reliable source. So far neither Nakatani, her editor or Dengeki Daioh have said volume 6 (the next one) is the last (hopefully not, there are still things to see, ending it with Touko and Yuu becoming a couple would feel sooo bad). I want to see them dating and see my waifu Yuu as a gf ( I bet she would be cute af).
Nakatani stating she can't draw Touko and Yuu being lovey dovey yet gives me hope that she'll eventually show it later in the story after the main problem is resolved.

Also, I want to see a hot scene before it ends

There is also the whole Sayaka and her feelings side to deal with that could be a volume in itself. Certainly not something to be handled right now in the middle of this play arc. Whether she finds out that Yuu and Touko are not just friends where she will have to accept and move on or the less likely scenario that Touko moves on from Yuu to having feelings for Sayaka (Not likely at all considering this chapter.). It is not going be something that can be wrapped up in a chapter or two.

Seeing this comment as I'm reading Maria Watches Over Us LN series right now...

I get so tense seeing new chapters are out for this each month. I'm 50% excitement and 50% nervous dread. There series has regularly shown it not to do the expected norm so just never know what might happen each chapter.

I'm just really hoping we make it through the whole series. For some reason there is like a curse that yuri series that have more than a few chapters get dropped 3/4 or so the way through. Especially when things start approaching major culminations of the story. So many good ones just sitting in limbo now only part way done. Even the Maria Watches Over Us manga was never finished being translated of all things.

Oh god thank you. I've been in withdrawal knowing there was new chapter out but noway to read it.

It is funny we have here a yuri manga about doing a play of a girl who lost her memory trying figure out how to live her life. While at the same time we have Happy amnesia a yuri manga about a girl with amnesia trying figure out how to live her life also running.

It really is something. Sayaka was never able to be brave enough to risk losing the one she loves to save the one she loves. Yuu is though willing to do it and Sayaka realizes this and that the only thing she can do is leave saving Touko in Yuu's hands and not get in the way. Such masterful writing.

Huh, Yuu mentioned Sayaka said she wondered how would it be if Touko stopped acting like her sister, when did Sayaka say that? In chapter 14 it was Yuu who wondered that and Sayaka was the one who replied with "I don't think that's Touko's goal"

It's a slight TL mistake. I checked the raw & what Yuu said was "Mae ni hanashitajanai desu ka" which has no subject, so it's more accurate to TL it to "We talked about this before, didn't we?" based on the context of ch 14.

Man, the dialog in this series is so intricate that even the slightest translation errors can have significant repercussions. It really is amazing how well written it is.

I'm not sure why Sayaka asked Yuu if she likes Touko. It seemed she finally gave up and kind of accepted the idea of Touko and Yuu liking each other, but that question feels like she either really hasn't or just wanted a confirmation of what she suspected after realising Yuu's true motives for changing the script. Her confessing her feelings to Yuu feel like an explanation to her about why she agreed to do the new script rather than something love rival-related.

I think she has known for a long time but been in denial because what it would mean if she admitted ti to herself. She simply hit a point where she just couldn't justify doing that anymore.

Damn I keep forgetting how good a writer the author is for this and that you just can't apply standard expectation for what real happen in this story. So it is Yuu's actions that finally reveal her to Sayaka and make Sayaka no longer able to deny what she already knew. Then she straight out confronts Yuu admits her feelings but not in a catfight or combative way but instead stepping to the side. Instead letting Yuu do what she herself was never able to bring herself to. Now did Yuu take her declaration of love as love as a friend or in a romantic way is my question? I don't want the series to end but at the same time I really want see it's ending.

edit: I can't wait to see what happens now with the next time Touko is alone with Yuu or how her attitude is toward ehr going forward. Thing is with this author you just can't make any assumptions.
