I mean, it was bad enough that Koguma couldn't face Hino the next day, at least until Hino guilt tripped her (which, btw, she also did to coerce Koguma into letting her come into the stall). Unless Koguma is into this stuff (humiliation fetish...?), Hino is knowingly manipulating and exploiting her.

Having said that, they have made it explicit that Koguma isn't just doing this because she feels responsible, and she clearly has other "normal" friends, aaaand she was the one who suggested doing the cat thing again... So I honestly think she's just an oblivious unawakened pervert.

I'm really on the fence about this... whether Koguma unknowingly has a proclivity for masochism, or she just has some kind of personality disorder/emotional problem. If it's the former, it's just cheeky fun, but if it's the latter, Hino's behavior is cruel and abusive.

I'm really happy that Yuki's gift was much more well received than the others. Too often in subtexty moe series, the first friend's special connection to the protagonist ends up getting diluted as the friend group grows, until the first friend ends up becoming just another part of "everyone".

I might be a little off, but IIRC, the "I love you game" is where the two players take turns "confessing" to each other, and the objective is to not to laugh or get flustered when giving or receiving the confession. Though it's not shown in the comic, presumably Ucchi already knew they were playing the game, but was so overwhelmed by hearing the actual words that it temporarily slipped her mind.

My point being, I guess, that I don't think anyone was being mean or deceitful.

Koguma is the real MVP for ch13. All Hino did was get caught looking at Kogunya pics.

Ugh that ending left me unsatisfied. I know some endings are bittersweet, but the tone of the rest of it is fluffy enough that I expected a straightforward happy ending.
