I'm worried a lot about her but just don't know what to do.

Just try to be there for her. Talk to her about everyday stuff, treat her like everything's normal. I think most chronically sick people really don't like it when you tiptoe around them like they could break any moment. And trust the doctors that they're doing their best. :-)

Yeah she sort of said that to me. She doesn't want to live like she's gonna die soon. It's tough being the one worried since she wants to live normal.

Lin is right, mvl89. Chronically ill people don't really like to be treated like they are about to break. Also, does your sister has someone she can talk about her disease? A lot of patients already told me they felt lonely, because their family and friends wouldn't talk about it, since they felt the need to protect the patient from that kind of pain. It varies from the moment the sick person is living, but they usually do feel lonely.

The farther north you go, the more ridiculously long the summer days are.

Yeah. I spent 10 days there and I didn't get used to it. Everytime I went out of the hotel to get dinner and the sun was up, I'd get the feeling something was off.

Yeah I'm in the Northeast, but it's still an adjustment for me each summer. I've been to Alaska during the summer and it was like day time all day. Maybe 3-4 hours of night.

she's repeatedly told me that if it were physically possible, she would have knocked me up by now... terrifying o_o'... for sure it's not for lack of effort).

well, obviously not but if you go on all the dates looking super girly and then you look more tomboyish when you are casual for example they might not expect it? I mean I'm sure maybe they'd like it XD but you never know! Wouldn't you want to show them every aspect of yourself to make sure they like you as you are? :) that's what I mean. I always try to show how I am to the person I like at least :)

Oh, so this is the issue. Yeah, when I start dating someone, I try to vary the places where we hang out. So like, I'm not always girly lol. When I start dating someone, I definitely show them my tomboyish, nerd and bookworm side too xD

Regarding that work, I think it's pretty good. But like, I can't really offer any sort of critical analysis here xD

I get it. But if someone thinks I am only what I show, then they aren't really meant for me. You can spend a whole life with someone, and I bet you will still learn something about them you didn't know. That's partly what dates are for; you get to know who is the person you're hanging out with.

I also wear concealer on a daily basis (dark circles happened with my internship) and eventually some lipstick. I will take around 20-30min if I want some eyes on me ;)

Right? On a regular basis I just rush things cause I need to use my time wisely so I can have at least 5h of sleep xD. When I'm chilling out with friends, I'm more tomboyish, but I do keep a feminine touch. When I go out to get lucky, I'm totally girly xD
