I'm only at ep 7 of the 3rd season but it makes me kinda sad, there were lots of queer ppl and the characters were funny. I'm gonna miss it for sure

Totally agree. Sure it was messy and not always the best writing but they included an intersex character for the first time in television history, a trans guy played by an actual trans guy, a diverse cast, had a guest that was actually intersex, an asexual mention, touched the subject of religion in a positive lighthearted way and had so many sexually diverse characters & encouraged the idea of being bisexual or not identifying at all. Not like some other shows which allow like a maximum of 3 non-hetero characters and that usually to create a ridiculous love triangle.

I'll miss this show. Only hope now is that Netflix picks it up but I highly doubt it.

To be fair, this episode story happen before the confession in the manga. So it's just a matter of the anime staff messing up the order and not caring about the implication

I was disappointed at first too but then I found out about the chapters not being adapted in the ''right'' order, so I'm a little relieved.

But definitely disappointing that the staff just disregards it like that. That's just typical. Even if there are same sex relationships, they wont be taken seriously and in the end it's always expected of a female to marry a guy. Atleast that's what I get from a lot of anime series that feature yuri.

I wouldn't say that, like mentioned, the manga chapter where she confesses to echizen comes after ep 6 and the opening also suggests that they're together, atleast in my eyes. I'll guess we have to see in the next couple of episodes.

There's really no wrong choice to make here. And Rebellion is not ''milking'' the franchise at all, imo.

Whatever your opinion may be, the director and writer got into a pretty big fight over exactly that issue.

So as a viewer you can't judge for yourself? I mean someone who's really into the franchise should be able to tell if it's just pure milking. And arguing over the ending is not the same as thinking that the whole movie was just to make money, or is it?

Anyways, the rebellion movie definitely talks about things that have been left unspoken in the series and who knows what the concept movie will have in store for us. I'm hella excited for it.

It's up to you really, you'll probably want to rewatch Puella Magi anyways once you're done so watch the movies first and leave the TV series for a revisit of the series. Movies 1 and 2 are pretty much exactly like the TV series but the movies have some added details.

Finished Harmony and it's an interesting movie with captivating concept and the protagonist and another main character have the most important relationshi of the movie and it's honestly yuri goodness, I'd recommend it.

Without spoiling too much, the protagonist apparently had/has a really strong bond with someone who is key to the plot and she keeps mentioning her in a very... unusual way and they get touchy feely in a short flashback. I haven't finished the movie but the trailer is already hinting at it pretty strongly if you want to check that out.

I wouldn't give up hope. 3rd season of Yuru Yuri also took its time but we got it eventually and I don't think Yuyushiki did terrible so I'm definitely hoping for a second season aswell.

Oh yeah, definitely. If anything, Akane and Inukai's scenes were even gayer than in the manga. I just checked and the hand on the thigh was added in the anime.

I use it since I can't remember everything I watched. I try only to keep things I liked and are worth remembering/re-watching though. I sometimes forgot to update mangas as well and in general there is a bit of mess there, but it should be more or less up to date.

I'm the same tbh, I usually don't bother adding one shots or volumes with one shot stories, it's a pain since there is just too much.

This is true but I still see some similiarities between the two and I enjoyed both but I guess you'd have to try for yourself.

I really don't see any similarity between FF and WDTFS. I would say FF is a pretty good yuri manhwa, so it's highly likely that people who are into yuri would enjoy reading it.

The main couple of both series have a couple of things in common, although WDTFS might be more angsty. They're both also slow burns when it comes to the main couple. Panels are also similiary constructed, art isn't extremely different either.
