Yeah with the whole stiff thing, I think it was more of an indication to show how Seol-a has been acting slightly differently around No-rae, after the whole hug thing. She's more self-conscious around No-rae now, but again, No-rae did say "strangely", so she's not completely sure why she's getting those vibes from Seol-a. It's just No-rae's hunch/waifu instincts.

And along with the last few panels, it just goes to show that No-rae is picking up on Seol-a's change in behavior (whatever that may be).

Yes, my avatar thing is from WDTFS, a yuri manhwa by Gaji. I'm currently working on translating it, and we're nearly done editing chapter 1. I really love Gaji's simplistic, mature storytelling style, so look forward to it! She's kinda like a Korean Nishi Uko, but better.

jrdp (our qc-er), suggested that we uploaded the quick typesets to the imgur file after the free-viewing period for FF chapters were over, so that people would visit comico (with the overlay method or not). We wanted to help Ssamba get as much traffic as possible, although we know that many fans already visit comico often. People on 4chan started crying about how this was "unfair" or "absurd", because now they had to wait a whole 3 fucking days before they could get typesets, since it was too difficult for their miniscule bird-brains to either use the overlay or read the Korean raw with my translation. After some discussion, we agreed that typesetters who wanted to make typesets immediately available (like d.d.d.) were free to do so, but those who wanted to release them on the comprehensive imgur file after the 3 day limit were free to do so as well (like Kyra). Kyra's typesets would be available through the overlay method immediately after my translations, and they would be made available on imgur as well after 3 days.

However, whining crybaby /u/sers such as Siggax, decided that they would take justice into their own hands and steal Kyra's typesets by taking them through the overlay method, and then uploading them to imgur (before the 3 day limit). Because they were obviously entitled to speedy translations and typesets that were delivered on time. Waiting three days? Preposterous. And they just HAD to have Kyra's typesets, because d.d.d.'s weren't "high-quality" enough. Rude AND disrespectful? Wow, who would've thought.

While I am going to be busy with school stuff next week, I honestly just want to see people like Siggax shit their pants when they have to wait longer than a day for translations/typesets.

We aren't working on wdtfs through YP this time, since we want to work on everything privately. Shoot me an email with details on what you want to help out with. We have 1 qc-er and 1 cleaner/typesetter so far. Qc, editing (typesetting/cleaning), or even tlc help would be appreciated, since we have 12 chapters to catch up with.

doesn't matter if you're reading this in this site, or in mangafox (where updates are actually up to date) or whatever, the story it's the "slow-building" kind of story, but in a beautiful outstanding way that makes my stomach flips every panel all the time. I'm just here, lying in my bed, waiting, craving the "boiling-point" interaction between them; but hey, I'm pretty sure it'll be worth it.

Mangafox chapters are not "up to date" lol. They stole our un-checked rough drafts without permission. Those chapters haven't been finalized, and it's highly likely that they're going to have changes after we go through them. They're probably full of typos and other errors.

Honestly, it wasn't even my idea to create rough typesets in the first place (and I'm still not sure what purpose they serve, other than making reading chapters slightly easier). But since I make my translations public, people were inevitably going to make them anyways.

Unfortunately you have to pay on the mobile app (and then buy the chapter on the PC website) if you want to unlock the raws. I won't be posting any links to raws or translational progress because I want to keep the Korean raws down on lock. The author told us she didn't want us to translate it, and lezhin doesn't have a free system like comico/naver, so that's why I REALLLYYY don't want any Korean raws floating around. You'll just have to wait for the release on YP or Dynasty.

But I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you that I've already translated chapters 1-12. Now we just have to check and typeset everything.

I think there is a typo error in the news boradcast. The translation says 200 passengers injured, but I think it is 20 and the korean text implement it (but there is a circle of a letter beside it make is like 200 so may be that is why a mistake happened. That and it is almost impossible to have 200 passengers on a bus.

Ah, I see. So No-rae dies, then Seol-a and Ji-hwan are crying rivers at the funeral, start hugging each other, and end up going out. But then No-rae resurrects and eats Ji-hwan's brains. In that very moment, Seol-a shoots a shotgun and kills No-rae the zombie but the second bullet blows inside the rifle and kills Seol-a. Happy end.

I sincerely hope that most, if not all fans, visit the original comico chapter pages at least once. I mean, reading the raws with my translations isn't that difficult (I hope). But I think releasing the imgur stuff after the 3 day limit is up is a reasonable suggestion. I just want Ssamba to get as many hits on comico as possible, whether it's a significant amount or not. The super fast typeset drafts have only been a recent thing, so I'm sure it wouldn't kill people to wait a little. But if this is the sort of disrespectful attitude you're willing to take towards FF and Ssamba, then I'd actually prefer it if people like you didn't read it in the first place.

You da man. Your prototype program looks awesome! That would be so convenient for translators. Yeah comico is weird with the whole "only free for 3-days" thing. But this only applies to Korean comico; the Japanese comico FF chapters are all free, and there is no time limit.

"Joon-woo" is not Seol-a's brother.

Seol-a's brothers are:
Seon-woo
Hyeong-woo (second oldest brother, as mentioned in chapter 7)
Jin-woo (third oldest brother, as mentioned in chapter 15)

Jin-woo is the only one we've seen so far. Seol-a's home in Seoul is a place that Hyeong-woo used to live in.

"-woo" names appear to be very common for guys. (And don't forget everyone's favorite Gyeong-woo.)

Ok I didn't remember Seol-a's oldest brother's name so I just assumed it was Joon-woo lol. Fixed it.

Yep you're correct. If you notice, No-rae is wearing different outfits in the panel. The brown coat is when Seol-a dropped her off at home. The denim jacket is when she's super tired at school.

It also seems like she wants them to be more, I don't know but those words "I vowed to keep that promise that we made "as friends". That's right. Because for now, we're still friends." caught my attention and I can't fully understand what No-Rae was trying to say with that.

From my interpretation, the "I vowed to keep that promise that we made 'as friends'" meant that No-rae would keep the promise as long as they remained "friends", because it was promise that they made when they were friends. She was running away from Seol-a due to her unwanted romantic feelings, but then she realized that she didn't have any excuses to run away anymore. She didn't want to lose Seol-a. No-rae didn't have to act on her romantic feelings and distance herself from Seol-a. So No-rae decides to let things play out naturally, and see where their relationship goes.

As for the "Because for now, we're still friends", No-rae is acknowledging that they're just friends at the moment, but she knows that they won't be able to stay friends forever. The Korean says "as of yet", but it sounded slightly awkward so I changed it a bit. I'm assuming that this means that No-rae with either confess her feelings when she gets the balls to do so (and thus upgrade from friend to girlfriend), or she'll end her friendship with Seol-a when her feelings become too much of a burden to bear.

"Yuri" doesn't mean it has to have intimate physical contact between two women. Like I said before, it's more about the emotional connection. But idk some people might not consider a work "yuri" unless two girls are having sex or kissing each other, so to each his/her own.

there's something I didn't get in the last chapter, No-rae's mum looking awkward before saying her parting words to Seol-a. Where did the "blank stare" come from? Seol-a's height? And what did Seol-a mean by "If there's anything you'd like to say"? That alone sounds weird... or was it just me?

Yo I'm just translating what's there lol. I think it's like the mom was looking at Seol-a because she wanted to say something, so Seol-a noticed and awkwardly asked. Or something like that.

For the fanart, I think it's from a fan. It's not drawn in Ssamba's style, and it says "Ssamba-nim", which is like "To Ssamba-nim". No one in their right mind would call themselves "nim".

Isn't "shoujo ai" a term created by western fans for softcore/fluffy yuri? While everyone else in Japan calls it yuri/GL collectively? If you want to see the "yuri" moments in FF, I would suggest reading chapters 1-34. That might help a little. But anyways, I agree with Ssamba. A work doesn't need to slap you in the face with 1000 lily petals to be considered yuri. I'd much rather have a slow but well-written story, than have kissing/sex scenes every other chapter. You don't need to have super touchy physical moments to display intimate affection or love between two characters.

Uh I'm pretty sure our chapter 7 release was a lot faster than our chapter 6 release. It's just that sometimes real life stuff comes up, and not everyone on our team is available all of the time. We've been a lot more active recently though.

@halmoni lol It's enough for me if I could understand what the characters are saying. I'm not that picky regarding translations because it's impossible to fully translate word by word between 2 languages with different roots anyways.

Rather than the english translations, some of the webtoons uploaded on LINE(english) are what I'd define as atrocious. I guess they don't have enough translators that they add webtoons by non-korean artists. If I want to read american webtoons, I'd just go to Tapastic, not LINE (-_-)

As a native English speaker, wrong grammar or weird phrasing really puts me off when I read "official" publications. Like...idk if you're a translator, you should be proficient enough in both languages to not make such little mistakes.
