Aww man, this chapter is way too real. That feeling you get when there's a kinda niche side-character that you absolutely LOVE but everyone else in the fandom almost completely ignore? It's so lonely. So, so lonely ;__;

I normally roll my eyes at people who go "HNNNNNG!" over every little thing, but this manga just gave me a figurative case of the diabeetus.

The reason this appeals to me is that it's a pretty fresh take on a common trope. Every other manga seems to have a fujoshi (BL fangirl) who monologues incessantly to herself about just how pure and beautiful the love between two men is, waxing poetic about how there can be no place for a woman in such a fragile rose garden, but this is the first time I've actually seen the reverse; a male yuri fan obsessing over the love between girls on the same level as the most obsessive of yaoi-fangirls! It's kinda refreshing.

On the other hand, I did find it kinda ridiculous how he was totally okay with his little sister finding regular porn, whereas yuri would have been SCANDALOUS! It's probably just him being overly conscious though.

Ah, the kuudere! The one dere that's superior to the tsundere in cuteness, in my not so honest opinion. Especially when they're trying to be forward, which it looks like Iori is going to be.

Alright, can we please move away from Moe and Mizuki now and go back to the main pair? Or at the very least, switch over to the track president and that tanned girl. I'd love to see more of that dynamic!

I can't play Splatoon properly anymore. I keep seeing yuri-flags everywhere so it's hard to focus on the game with my imagination running wild.

I dunno. Seems to me that's a matter of individual taste. I personally like sex in my S&M; just the power stuff with no lust holds little interest or point for me. Just because some people want to separate the two doesn't mean they belong apart. You can eat graham crackers without chocolate or marshmallows, too, but it would be wrong to say they have nothing to do with each other.

Look at it this way; S&M and sex have about as much of a connection as sex and whip cream; they aren't necessarily meant to go together, but they mesh really nicely when they do.

I'm kinda in two minds on this series. On the one hand, I love it! The character interactions are lovely, the explanations of how their society works are interesting....buuut, on the other hand, some parts feel kind of...i dunno, condescending? I honestly don't know how to describe it well. This is one of those series that somewhat glorifies Japanese culture while belittling European culture in a way that doesn't appear to be intentionally malicious but still....it's there. It's hard to tell if the author is trying to make some sort of social commentary or just playing around with social norms.

Regarding the little sister. I don't recall if they ever spell out what happened to Tomo's mother, but if she's alive and just left when Tomo was, say ten years old, then it's entirely possible that the epilogue takes place about ten years later, as the little sister is most likely from the mother's side. No way that Ai could be over 40 and still look almost identical to when she was in university.

As someone with two younger half-siblings who I share a mother with, I can tell you that yes, it's entirely possible for maternal half-siblings to look uncannily similar. It's actually a bit of a myth that people get most of their looks from their father. Hell, I have more physical traits in common with both my younger siblings than they have with each other, and they have both the same dad AND mom.
