1. This isn’t the place for stuff like “WHERE IS THE NEXT RELEASE”. Any similar badgering/demands will be removed if they get obnoxious. Badgering the scanlators is poor form.

Their Tumblr is also not the place for that.

Glad to hear it, Kouhai~ She's had a number of good things in recent issues (Nico-chuu, Iwanai, Inori-san & Souma-san are all great), but this one was just too good to pass up.

Vanui's reaction to this release was also pretty good.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but is there any place where I can ask if something is already being scanlated? As a soloist, it’s more useful to me to know if a recent work is already claimed, or if it's up for grabs.
(Specifically, I have my eye on that new Waraguki Pixiv doujinshi.)

Probably the right place to ask, though you may also want to check ... wherever Pixiv stuff is usually translated. Is that something YP does?

In Sorry I'm Obsessed page 20 (sequel to I Await Your Reply), Kuro (Yuuka) had been shopping with a Morico, who is likely her classmate from the post above it. Morico should be a pseudonym, but don't you think it's probably the Moriko from this story? With Takemiya-sensei's propensity for interlinked story lines, there's no doubt at all that those two are Kuro and Mio from I Await Your Reply.

Oh, good catch. Technically, Moriko is sort of a pseudonym—her actual name is Moriyama Riko; Moriko's just what her friends call her. This means, though, that Game must happen before "I Await Your Reply"—Moriko is quite clearly not out to Yuuka in Game, and doesn't seem to be particularly close to her either.

If it was a long enough time maybe Moriko being spelled Morico was simply a typo or something that was consciously changed later.

*normally romanized as Moriko

I don't know why the scanlators can't seem to agree on what to do with 東方青帖 (Touhou Seichou/Aojou/Blue Book/Blue Quire), but would it make sense for us to pick one and then stick with it?

Out of curiosity, though, why wouldn't you re-order the chapters to match their position in the anthology?

To be fair, many non-yuri upload requests are left to sit a while. When not due to scanlator difficulties, they're usually a) very long and thus a hassle to work with, and b) low-priority when compared to yuri/subtext-y things.

This will absolutely get done! It's been on the list since Blue Flor allowed us to begin hosting their work, but I haven't had the time/interest in going back to re-read (or read for the first time) most of them.

That's right, more not less.
Emphasis on good though. Since majority of romance in manga is het anyway, the overall quality simply averages. It goes bland and monotone, since it's all been done a thousand times.

This is already more or less built into Dynasty's policies, right? From the upload request page:

You may suggest het if the story is good or the comedy is good.

So if somebody wants to see more het, then they just need to actually put in upload requests and see how it goes.

No problem! I know Dynasty's not set up to deal with a series like this, so I can appreciate the challenges in figuring out how to present it.

Incidentally, I'd thought it might be nice to add a link to the artist's Weibo, where it looks like the comics are actually being uploaded, but I couldn't figure out if there was a way to get it to just show just posts for "Their Story" or even how to get it to order posts chronologically, so I gave up (it really seemed to want me to have an account). There may still be art on there people would want, though...

I think it flows better (making it easier to understand) if ch 1.5 and 2 were together, just as one.

I really thought the Wishful thinking tag would help people get the idea. Meanwhile folks on IRC asked me to change chapter 2 to 1.5. I will wait for more opinions, but in the end, there is no clear solution in sight.

The tag does make it clearer, but the tag's also a bit of a spoiler. The chapter division in general is rather artificial, so I would probably agree with the folks on IRC*—rather than keeping each update as a separate chapter, it would make more sense to collapse the previous updates into chapter 1 and just keep the newest update as its own chapter. In fact, you could probably remove the chapter numbering altogether and just have "Their Story" and "Their Story [(Date) UPDATE]".

I think so? You should give it a try, at least, and then others here know if you're successful.

Speaking of the tanks, mine just got here, and I updated the chapter listing to show that "Plant Appointee" is an extra that isn't included in the volume. Realistically, it should probably be numbered with a decimal (it's a flashback falling between volumes), but this would push Dynasty's number out of sync with YPs, so I left it as is.

^I added Rakuen Web to the Issues list, and those two one-shots to it. I don't really have the time to look over the Collectors' stuff right now, so feel free to add those if you get to them before I do.

Oh, sure. Fixed those, then, and the one other Uko thing that was from Rakuen Web. Most (if not all) of Love and Piece should be Rakuen Web too, but I don't have my Fragments tanks on me at the moment. I'll check those in a couple weeks, if they haven't been done by then.

If they published some original stuff in the Web Extras tho, we would need to make a collection for it.

YP imports almost all their own raws, and that is rarely - if ever? - an issue, unless something hasn't actually been released yet. Rest assured that is the not a problem for this series.

That's reassuring—when I was checking over the boards, all the most recent updates seemed to be people asking the Chinese scanners for their raws, which was ... not promising.

I've updated the series page with what I think is a full list of the missing chapters (and the proximate ordering). As far as I know, though, the current status of YP regarding Kase is "We don't have any raws".

Anyone else notice the slight difference in Jin's drawings in Love Flicker? It's a bit cleaner than her earlier works, but still has her signature style. I know all artist evolve the longer they create, but as I love Takemiya, I wanted to mention that.

There isn't really a whole lot of her earlier work on Dynasty (just the doujinshi in Girlish Sweet and Seasons). Or did you mean how her style changes this volume? These are her first five works for Yuri-Hime, so you can see how her style begins changing from when she was still a doujin artist.

(I updated all the volumes with their dates of publication, if anyone is actually curious about that)
