I’m sorry but i don’t see anything yuri in this story, is it gonna change? will we EVER address the idea of the EMPEROR being a women? or the idea of two women in an relationship? we will EVER see the concept that no, relationship between straight people is different from gay ones? or will the MC suddenly be OK with her supposed HUSBAND being a WIFE?!?!?!?

there was one other Chinese novel that i coudn’t finish reading were the General was hiding her gender and for some stupid reason, we don’t get the other MC to know that the General was a women while the Princes was so gay she made sure the General was USED AS A PAWN WITH NO MERCY cuz he was a MEN! (abd the general fell for the princes so she did whatever the princess ask of her) that farce of an supposed “Yuri romance” HAPPEN AT THE END! 1/5 of the story with 0 romance with only the GENERAL being in love with the princes! the ROMANCE didn’t exist at all cuz the author forgot to build ANY relationship with them because the princes didn’t found out the general was a women early.

this story will need some solid exploration of the relationship they have AFTER the MC finds the emperor true gender! but i do wander if an Chinese story can pull it off were even the Japanese mangas shy away from the concept of “Sexual Orientation”

The only way glasses girl is a brocon is if she's a particularly cursed manifestation of a bisexual, "I like girls and my older brother". I'm going to assume this is not the case, for the sake of the bisexuals lol. What's definitely undeniable is how into the girlfriend she is. She's initiating that kiss. If she actually hated the girlfriend and wanted her to go away and leave her alone with her brother, in what way would her actions here make sense? The body language makes it clear the talk about the brother is just teasing from the girlfriend and "stop cheating on him and just leave him for me already" from the glasses girl.
This is simply a good old fashioned story of a girl cucking her onii-san by stealing his girl. :)

I think Aya said onii-san simply because Mitsuki was in her shop clerk getup that initially fooled Aya. She was reminiscing about how awkward she was back then compared to Kanna and Joe.

My guess is more that Aya doesn't think of herself as gay and, at least on a physical level, is more atracted to Mitsuki's casual look, so when she thinks about her in a romantic way, she tends to revert back to thinking of her in the context of "Onii-san", or at least that part of her persona, even though she now knows Mitsuki is "Onii-san" and she likes her for more than just her looks. So, in this chapter, while she was watching the adults flirt, she thought it would be nice if she could do the same with Mitsuki, but when asked she absentmindedly blurted out the wrong name, because that was the context she was thinking in.

Alternatively, Aya has a tendency to get easily flustered when Mitsuki accidentally turns up the rizz, which tends to involve the "Onii-san" aspects of her persona, and Aya was thinking it would be nice if she could flirt back. Of course, admitting to your crush that "I really wish I wouldn't immediately melt down when you're being extra hot" can be pretty embarrassing, as can admitting that you find a part of their persona extra hot in the first place. Also admitting that you're drawing parallels between your interactions and the way the ex-couple across the room interact. Aya, basically just did all three of those things, realized what she did, and then panicked and ran.

The more I think about it, the more I think it's the latter, especially with the "perceptive girl × oblivious girl" tag at the end.

but THAT IS THE ISSUE! is way Mitsuki asked Aya if she is nice to her for only the moment when she is “Onii-san” because she DOES feel like Aya is drawing an line between Mitsuki and the moment when she is supposed “Onii-san” while Mitsuki said she is just herself, she ain’t trying to not be Koga and suddenly some one she cares keeps make the “Onii-san” idea to many time so ofc Mitsuki feels like Aya care more about that imaginary person and not Mitsuki, there is quite an distinction that got made by Aya with the whole “Onii-san” and Mitsuki, even i think Aya is taking the “distinction” too far even tho Mitsuki is Mitsuki AND NOT Mitsuki and “Onii-san”

I think you can also read this another way.

We're seeing a yuri romance from the point of view of the tsundere character.

She challenges the love interest to strange competitions constantly, and keeps losing. She thinks the love interest is perfect in every way. She rationalizes all her actions to keep her dignity with that undercurrent of "I'm doing it for you!"

How is that not a classic tsundere character? We're just shown a different perspective from the usual.

For all that is HOLY IN YURI! call her what she is! a HUGE CUNT! this is beyond Tsundere! ONE! she forced her tongue in her mouth while NOT LETTING HE GO! the HUMILIATES HER and DEGRADES HER as her Dignity meaning fuck nothing! then makes a garbage bet that makes no sense! ones you take some one dignity you CAN’T GIVE IT BACK! becuase it’s an action and event that happen so you can’t erase it! especially her first kiss!

Based on what I'm seeing in this first chapter, this is a pretty pure dom/sub story. People who are into that will like it, people who aren't won't.

There's the surface level plot of "oh I want to get one over on her so she realizes she isn't so perfect and can have equal relationships with others" but the whole bets thing is just an excuse for them to do romantic DS stuff, both in and out of universe. I assume eventually Wakaba will realize "Hey wait a minute, I keep agreeing to bets that inevitably end with this hot girl ordering me around and making me kiss her and stuff, and that makes me feel good, what could this possibly mean?"

Anyway, I like the way they position the characters, with Komaki above Wakaba, wrapping her legs around her possessively. It was also a good choice to have Komaki be taller and fuller figured. I don't expect this to be an especially clever or original story, but they're getting the core appeal stuff right.

Did you read in rice to get that idea about the plot? like this ain’t the first time we got this kind of weird plot in romance were we have the biggest cunt act like that and we are supposed to think “she has feelings so she is gonna humiliate her out of love”

Jealousy is a real thing that is really usually attached to love. Letting it rule you is bad, using it as an excuse to treat someone badly is bad, but having it is just the way things are for most people. If you want your stories to pretend otherwise, you want your stories to be fake.

Re read chapter 1. MC's friend is like "if you're not jealous of him then that means you don't really love him, when you find your destined person you're defs gonna get jealous of them." and that's never questioned, it's just accepted as is.

That's romanticizing jealousy, i.e. treating it as something good and expected, or even as a requirement for love, instead of what it actually is (a manifestation of insecurity, whether warranted or not).

I love stories about jealous characters, I like my characters to have flaws and problems, I just don't care for the way jealousy is portrayed as a good thing in chapter one.

They can have a lot of heavy side effects, can be additive, and are poison for the brain medium to long term...

Go to therapy, seek counsel, find a group of discussion and last resort, use medications. I don't think her case is aggravated enough so she should take medications.

I don't think that being anxious after more than 24 hours of no contact is being needy. It felt like a fairly normal reaction to me. I don't find someone dropping off the grid for a day or two all that unusual. There have been instances where I've gone weeks or a couple of months without calling or texting people. I never really got the whole "like as a person" trope in yuri manga. I know that being pan is a thing, but specifically in yuri there's certain instances were it feels like they're sweeping lesbianism under the rug ( or just being gay in general ) by using a more "socially acceptable" answer.

The author needs to draw more smut, just to practice. :-) Not only did they censor the kiss, they even had them bang with their bikinis on, apparently, which I cannot imagine was especially comfortable (for Tang Chao, in particular).
