I read this story a while ago and just rediscovered it, and it made me so emo. I wish someone would complete this! I'm completely in love with this story and yuu, I literally just made an account to express my feelings for this lol I wish I could help, but I don't know any Japanese. I hope someone picks it up soon, because I'd like some closer tbh.

looks like it needs a typesetter so if you want to volunteer for that, you can ask in the thread. no japanese required and the chapter appears to be cleaned already so you dont need to worry about doing any heavy duty image editing. itll basically be copy-pasting text off a script into their appropriate areas on the page. very simple.

that said, if no one volunteers by the time school lets out for me at the end of the month im thinking of doing it myself. figured i could use this as a warm up before i start up again.

is it me or was the afterword comic not typeset? bunch of blank bubbles in the morinaga catscapades.

thats what im assuming is happening. she wants the phone to talk to chiharu and they still get together whenever they can as evidenced by people noticing the "creepy pale girl" that hangs around their house at night and shou being out and about during that same time period.

and thats without including that whole "you've got long hair again" bit at the very end.

its translated up to chapter 20 on yuri project right now. you could try asking if they have any translation raws so you could do the rest, but i imagine it would be better to wait for an editor to finish 17-20 first so any translation efforts arent wasted.

Also, the money at the end was a completely unnecessary addition.

the money is there because mikako "cant tolerate anything improper." she pays them because she feels bad receiving something without giving them something back in return. if you notice, kyouka and hirai (the two gyarus) stop calling her Class Prez and start saying Mikako at the end so the three of them are a lot closer now than at the beginning. so i guess the money might be unnecessary, but it makes sense and it definitely isnt gay for pay.

only a litlle? she played mao like a master violinist in this chapter. she brought up the expiring lease and got mao to refer to her sleeping around as "drinking with a co-worker." itsuki then let mao "discover" her date because she knew mao would ask about it. and when mao did ask about why itsuki came home late the next day, itsuki said she went "drinking with a co-worker."

so not only does mao have to worry about itsuki not renewing the lease, she has to worry about itsuki moving out to live with another woman. its basically checkmate; mao is way too selfish (and oblivious) to call itsuki's bluff.

so while mao was playing checkers, itsuki was playing 4D hyperchess.

its more of a sequel than a prequel tbh. its a flashback about their high school days, but the story takes place after the events of Girls Planetarium.
