Story is decent, but the grammar is painful

It was kind of amusing how the adaptation managed to remove all meaning from the title

It's... decent? It's definitely trying to showcase the girls in the original game, and there's over a hundred of them, resulting in lots of scenes that do nothing but give a minor character or two some lines. Animation quality isn't great. To it's credit, it has a pleasant atmosphere and lots of girls flirting with each other

By "off the chart" you mean "canon", right? Ulith is definitely using Akira, but I think her feelings are genuine. She's going to way too much trouble for it to be otherwise

I can tell you what happened, but not what the characters are thinking. This has been a problem for a while, though

So, the main girls in Shirobako definitely look to at least be shippable with each other. Most of it is anime edutainment, though

I guess that I will be checking Sora no Method, if Hylarn says that turned pretty well.

Something good I haven't seen brought up here is Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis. Great animation, clever action sequences, and probably the funniest show of the season. Not yuri at all, though

Most of the episode is Hitoe taking Ruuko out, including to a "Girl meets Girl festival"(!), Ru is hung up on Tama, Iona continues to be Iona, but with more naked embracing imagery, and the preview is about Akira's feelings towards Iona

Is Wixoss actually worth picking up? As in, starting from the first season. I've basically been avoiding anything Mari Okada-related following the disappointment which was BRS (TV)... the series looked like something I might have picked up for the seiyuu and hopeful subtext otherwise, but my yuri-radar response was to give it a pass. I will admit I'm somewhat curious now, however.

Okada can be hit-or-miss, but I don't avoiding her entirely is a good idea. And BRS was worth it for the fights, if nothing else

The first season of WIXOSS was pretty good, if slow in the middle. Yuri-wise, there was some stuff that could be read into, but not much active shiptease. What happened with this episode was fairly surprising and I'm not sure where they're going with it

Hanayamata was definitely yuri-ish, as is Yama no Susume. Hanamonogatari was about a lesbian and had some interesting character dynamics, but there's no point if you're not already a Monogatari fan. Momo Kyun Sword had some yuri-ish stuff going on in the background and little het, but is primarily a fanservice/action series. And I hear Glasslip has a lesbian, but I also hear it treats her horribly

Nekomura's RJ is fantastic

For what it's worth, the title can be roughly translated to "Waiting for the Seas to Calm"

I can't believe I read a Kantai Collection doujin... Which turned out to a goddamned metaphysical exploration of what makes us alive, and the concept of the soul.

Actually a fairly common theme in KanColle doujinshi! Since we're not at all sure what ship girls are, but 'human' looks pretty unlikely

Oh, this is something a bit out of the usual for Rireba. Action! Plot! Significant length! Also KanColle, but I've known about that one for a while now

So, pretty good. I think the wall of exposition towards the end could have been cut down, but no major complaints otherwise

Oh, and while this book predates it, I'd note that there is something that appears to be an Abyssal version of Akagi in the game: Midway

The anime was pretty, but I honestly didn't like it very much. Well, I say "the anime", but I think most of the problems I had with it were from the source material

I'd like some Naru x Yaya doujinshi, but I'd be fine with never seeing any more anime or translated manga
