Wow that Yuu controntation scene realky surprised me. I always thought Touko striving to be like her sister was bad, but Yuu really laid it out how in the end that's okay and it's just who Touko is.

Touko being like her sister is perfectly normal, that's just what younger siblings do. Trying to be her sister, on the other hand, i.e. entirely suppressing her own identity and replacing it with (her incomplete knowledge of) that of another person, is extremely unhealthy.

How can you deny her a kiss! Tsk kouhais this days

Yuu just realized that quick gratification is not something Touko needs at that point (despite both of them obviously wanting that kiss). And being the good nurse she is, Yuu used Touko's desire as leverage to make her swallow some bitter medicine, which thankfully worked as intended.

Those words killed her inside

It's called "an epiphany". Yuu is the best. And Touko is the luckiest person on the entire freaking planet.

Does anyone have any new clues about the state of the translation? It's been over a year since the last Comet-Scans update, and four months since Nanomd's good news...

I'm starting to think the "world-class actress" is not an actress at all, and the manager not her manager either, but they are just two sisters on a perfectly normal roleplay-vacation.

That would explain so many things.

I am starting to suspect that the only reason Manager got her job was a yandere-like elimination of every single rival. Her obsession with the Actress seems to be her only qualification. ^^

Why would you call it a fiasco? I think it was a rather well-executed arc and the protagonist succeeded in getting what she wants (for now), so I don't see how it is a fiasco from either in- or out-of-universe perspective.

It's implied pretty strongly that the girls live in a warzone and have some kind of obligation to the military. I think ADT555 has explained the historical reference pretty succinctly above.

I feel like that self-destruct info bit is foreshadowing; I can fully see Granite (that's the mage's name, right?) learning self-destruct, not realizing it kills you forever, and some tragic drama when she uses it, or attempts to, to kill Goblin.

Or something like granite learning death magic and trying to use it on goblin-chan, but aki pushes her out of the way to protect her, ending up being killed herself and not coming back to life. now that would be some tragic drama. xD

I can imagine Granite threatening Goblin with the death magic, Aki talking her down, then Granite putting her before the choice of either hanging out with her or with Goblin.

The final panel is a real twist ending. Now I am thinking, what if the bird was actually sent by the Demon Lord as a way to goad Goblin to fight with her back against that specific tree?

Also, the whole deal with guns being a good option early on but not scaling with your stats at all, is exactly the thinking behind crystal weapons in Dark Souls. Anyone who uses them should just learn to play and git gud.

Not really, no. For instance, the protagonist of Fragments of Love is not in a relationship at any point of the manga's main timeline (excluding the flashbacks and the epilogue), yet it is 100% yuri.
