Ikemen-senpai is quite the charmer :O Also, as someone who has some experience wearing pumps for office work, you don't get comfortable with them, ever . If it's not the back of your heels rubbing against them, it's the pain in your back if you walk too much with them or the calf pain, etc. They're basically evil incarnate ( ^^ )

True story : as a teenager back in the late 90's I used to have a bit of a crush on my dentist and would very much look forward to my Bi-Annual checkups . I even tried, unsuccessfully mind you, to find out if she was married and whether she might be into girls or not . To be young and dumb, I guess :P

Always a good read. I have no idea that the mangaka is so much taller than her partner. Also, if this chapter is not a marriage advice, I do not know what it is. I did use to have a partner who called me when I was working...

She's standing on top of the genkan when she's giving Kon-san her goodbye kiss. It's the small entry way directly in front of the door where people put on/take off their shoes in japan. You can sorta see the step on page 1, if you look carefully.

Kon-san really is a treasure, Inui-sensei better hold on to her for dear life! It would be fun to have a chapter told from the other view point though, with what Kon-san likes the most about her, the little things that Inui-sensei does, etc. I have a feeling there's a lot more give and take than she suspects , as with any good long term relationship.

Ricchan and Nozomi are such classic "Squabble endlessly. Observer: 'You two really get along!'" friends.

I know some readers think nothing happens in this series; I just think it's incredibly thoughtful and subtle. Like the question sometimes comes up here about why these two don't just get over the brother's death and move on.

But Nozomi's story reminds us that the couple were just getting started on their real lives together, and their only trip together wasn't even, by Ritsuko's lights, a trip at all. They were assuming they had all the time in the world to do things together, and then one day Taishi goes off to work and never comes back. Any death of someone close leaves a hole, but under those circumstances, just starting over must hardly even seem possible.

Plus, Nozomi was still very young when it happened, barely an adult even, going through starting out in the professional world and all that jazz. I can't imagine getting hit by all that at once.

I'm guessing this is a bit late in the game for a classic onsen chapter but a girl can dream right ?

It's Hino we're talking about, so I'm guessing her motivations are equally lewd AND wholesome :P

This one image pretty much sums up their entire relationship :-P Just got done reading volume 7 incidently. 8 and 9 are already pre ordered but it's going to be a long wait :-[

It's one of my top 10 favorites ever so I'll be quite sad to see it end :-[ At the same time, I feel Niji-sensei is starting to run a bit out of ideas for it , so this is probably for the best . I'd rather have a strong 50 chapters story than something that drags on way past it's initial premise. I've seen too many mangas run on pure fumes for years (^^)

(All jokes aside, I may be a diehard advocate for this series and its many divisive plot points, but even I’m starting to feel enough waiting is enough. Especially after how the last arc ended)

Yuzu and Mei getting to a point where they act like a normal, functioning couple would be enough for me TBH. A few chapters of them being happy and in love is all I really ask for. Show me they can actually enjoy each other's company and I'll be a very happy girl.
