My favorite series, along with Ayame 14.

I'm exultant every time a new chapter comes up!

So it was a DELICIOUS sort of cute...

YES!
It took me a few moments to realize it, actually, lol. But yes, that's exactly the point.

Looks like Asuka was not the only one harboring incestuous feelings... or rather, Asuka's incestuous feelings are crazy contagious and mom helplessly caught them too, huh huh huh.

Did she just get turned on by a scolding

Why... yes, indeed. That surprises you?

Bless your pure heart.

Me: Mom nooo..stooop
Also me: fck yessss!
The fck is happening to me..xDD

You're learning the Japanese Way.

Saying "iyaaa... yamete!" when you actually mean "yes, please, more!" is a classic.

Oh? I'm one of the first to comment on the new chapter? Yay!

Ok, here's what I have to say:

1) This series is still the sexxay! Luminous Blue and Skeeter Rabbit are, of all the series being scanlated right now, the two that capture the sexiness of the teenage body with the greatest aestheticism.

2) Usa-pyon and Shiika share a brain.

3) Uh oh, Hoshihara basically said "I need to be with Shiika and you're a bother, so leave us alone!" Expect massive Usa-pyon distress + jealousy + angst next chapter...

ENT = Entrance
UT = Utilities

I see. Pretty luxurious place, for a Japanese apartment...

I don't quite understand the plan of that apartment.

I know what LDK is, but what's UT and ENT? And a one-and-a-half bath??

I think we are witnessing unprecedented levels of cute fluffiness

I wonder what will happen when it reaches its zeitgeist

Will my soul be ready for it?

"Zeitgeist?"

I suspect that, either you have the wrong word there, or you are trying to say something so insightful and profound it completely escapes me.

What's with all the people arguing about incest? Indou looks nothing like Kagami's mom and if they were related wouldn't Kagami have known that they are related?

In some asian countries it's normal to call a woman thats NOT RELATED to you 'Aunt/Auntie' and that's like a typical sign of respect to a woman older than you

Your main point is correct, but the appearance thing is irrelevant—one side of a family can look very different than another. Indou resembles her mother; who knows what her father looked like?

The real questions for me are: Who raised Shinobu?

She knows almost nothing about her parents (Chapter 1, p. 27), she has been living in the countryside with very little to eat, and she was not living with “another relative” (besides the aunt she mentions) (Chapter 4, p. 114).

I had been assuming that the “aunt” she continually mentions and to whom she is writing the letters was the same person who raised her. She wishes for her presence several times, mentions that she smells good when you hug her, and says that she taught her “with great zeal.” But the evidence now suggests that the “aunt” (who may not be a blood relation) is in fact Kagami’s mother, which seems completely incompatible with the way Shinobu was living.

Listen, I'll be frank with you: I've read up to chapter 15, and I know the answers to most of your questions -- but I can't recall anymore how much of my knowledge comes from the chapters we all have read already and how much comes from chapters that have not been translated to English yet. Just in case, I'll use the spoiler-hiding format.

Shinobu doesn't know much of her real parents. She lost them in the war, or something. She was raised by a family who were neighbors or relatives. They lived in abject poverty, and in fact that family planned to sell Shinobu to a brothel in a few more years. Kagami's mother made a deal with that family (gave them money, I guess) so that they would allow Shinobu to attend the academy. She also settled in that town for a while and taught Shinobu all she needed to know for the entrance exams. Shinobu took a liking to her and started calling her auntie, and has been writing letters to her ever since she arrived in Tokyo (it's implied she doesn't know her real name, only her address). Of course, Kagami had no clue about any of these things: she hasn't returned home or talked to her mom for years.

Why the Kagamis are so interested in helping the Indous, that's still a mystery, though the most likely answer is that the two families became close during the war (many people in both families were officers). The circumstances of the disappearance of Shinobu's mom are a mystery as well (Kagami and her mom talk about the subject in vague and evasive ways, very suspicious).

I hope little bro can find himself a nice boyfriend by the end of the series.

Indeed

There are already two candidates. Maybe you don't remember them, because their only appearance came in the beginning of chapter 1... but it's transparently obvious that they are both crazy for Futaba. And who wouldn't, right? He's so cute, honest and girly. (灬 ͡♥ 3 ͡♥灬)

The first one is a sporty boy, strong, mischievous, energetic and a total tsundere:

https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/ill_cheer_on_my_yuri_onee_chan_ch01#5

The second one is smart, polite, adult-like for his age, and a typical "nice boy" all around:

https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/ill_cheer_on_my_yuri_onee_chan_ch01#6

Were you in Futaba's shoes, who would you choose? ・:*:・゚( ͡ºั ͜ʖ ͡ºั )。・:*:・゚

I'll take both of them, rashiku ikimasho! (Huhu, Sailor Moon taught me well. )

I had kinda forgotten about those two, but it's certain they will have some role to play in future chapters. Especially "Energetic Boy" whose parents didn't visit the school for Parent's Day and is trying to put up a genki front when actually he must be feeling sad. (If he needs caring and comfort, I'm sure Mio can do something about that!)

Do people seriously thinks grade schoolers are that ignorant when it comes to romance?

Romance, no.
Gay romance... maybe.

If you have never been exposed to that idea before, it might be difficult to figure.

Am I misunderstanding you somehow?

Living in a society where, for ten or fifteen centuries, homosexuality was considered a crime and a mortal sin, where those suspected of it were stoned or burned at the stake, where, even today, people read and worship holy books that claim that, if you tolerate homosexuals living next to you, your city may be destroyed by heavenly fire...

... and living in a society where, for ten or fifteen centuries, homosexuality was considered okay, and sometimes even encouraged, where the religious and legal books don't say a word against homosexuality, where the greatest literary classics (like the Genji Monogatari or the Diary of Murasaki Shikibu) have main characters who are openly bisexual or homosexual and tell us of their happy same-sex encounters in a natural way and a positive light...

... is completely different. There's an abyss of difference.

If you need more reading on the subject, I can recommend some Japanese authors.

If you're told all your life that marrying a man is a kind of chore and that everything else is sin then you very well might not reflect upon whether what you feel is real love.

Yeah, and that's a story about repression and social stigma. I am pretty certain this manga is not telling that story, and it's very rare to find a yuri story that IS about that.

Yup, and that's because Japan is not a Christian (or even Abrahamic) country and nobody believes that homosexuality is a sin. Shintoism and Buddhism have no beef with homosexuality. Heck, in Samurai culture, men were even encouraged to do it -- at least up to a certain age. Today, there are scores of clubs with crossdressing hosts or hostesses, catering to a heterosexual clientele who wants to indulge in queer kinkiness... and these are mainstream places frequented even by married people or by people in company outings.

The pressure to marry and have children in modern Japan exists at a family level, not a religious level. As for social pressure, well, it does exist, but it works mostly in indirect ways... like, a typical sarariman will have a much bigger chance to be promoted if he is married with children (because it makes him look more like a responsible adult).

The reason why it's rare to find a yuri story about Occidental-style repression of lesbianism is that such repression does not exist in Japan.

I recommend Larry McMurtry's Lonesome Dove series. The books, I mean, not the TV adaptations. I can honestly say I've never read a more realistic story about life in Texas from the 1840s to the 1890s, the Comanches, the Apaches, the Mexicans and, most of all, the Texas Rangers. (Who are usually SO exaggeratedly aggrandized in fiction, it's rare to find a book that cares to show what a pathetic lot they actually were.)

I take it you're not a fan of ballads like...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=999RqGZatPs

... this one? ^^

Heck no. A guy who could draw that fast would've been a bandit, or a town sheriff, or an U.S. marshall, or all three of them at different moments of his life. Never a Texas Ranger.

Rangers mostly made their business to scout for Comanche activity in the Pecos area and beyond, and to chase after Comanche horse thieves. And it usually went like this:
1) Rangers set out, made camp that night, found in the morning that one third of their horses were missing.
2) Rangers made camp the second night, found in the morning that another third of their horses were missing.
3) Rangers made camp the third night, found in the morning that the last third of their horses were missing, returned to San Antonio on foot.

No self-respecting gunslinger would want to associate himself with these losers. Seriously.

It's sort of like being a reader of stories about the American West. It's perfectly reasonable to object to stereotypical treatments of Native American peoples in such stories, and to find any examples of that a deal-breaker as a reader. It's quite possible to read lots of Westerns about sheriffs and outlaws and ranchers, etc. without reading objectionable material about Native Americans. But you're probably going to come across it sooner or later, a fair chunk of your chosen genre will be closed to you, and, who knows, somebody might write a really good story that deals with Native Americans in an interesting and nuanced way.
