As someone who has never played any of the games I'm actually just 100% confused. Not angry or upset, just confused.

It was all making sense till Wakasagi ended up in the same hospital and the line about "her knight opening her eyes."

Does she want Seki to tell Wakagsagi her feelings? Does she want to wait for Wakasagi to understand or has Wakasagi already forgiven Seki? What did she do with that knife? Did she take out her eyes? What the hell happened to Kagerou? Was she the one that was killed or sold?

You can almost feel the Edgar Wright style transitioning between each panel. God damn I love this artist.

PS for anyone interested the gun Yasmine carries is real. Its a pretty new Taurus Curve .308. Its existence places this series squarely in the present seeing as the timestamp says "201X", the gun began prototyping in 2014, and began production in 2016.

Also, the stage play covers the suicide mission YorHa purposely sent A2's squad on. The same squad in which her girlfriend was a part of and A2 was the sole survivor. It basically explains why A2 is just so mad all the time. Also, explains the voices in the flashbacks she keeps having throughout the game. The one that tells her she has to stop crying and keep going is her.

Nier is a happy game about happy robots.

^ A2 is actually from a stage play called YorHa detailing events just before the game. There's also 3 or 4 short stories and I think one of them goes into more detail on them. I have seen nor read neither but I've seen plenty of videos summing them up.

Nier lore is wacky.
