Yeah, I have to agree that it's kinda disappointing that we got filler as early as chapter 2. The closest thing to "baiting" is a gag scene about a kiss that never happens, and that pisses off people who can't take jokes.

There's very little het either, for that matter. If you want subtext, it's sort of there if you want to see it, but don't expect it to go beyond that.
