back to Nammi .. I am quite confused about her .. she liked both Sumin and Seju ?!
in the past (she tried to sleep with Sumin.. and she does tell Sungji that she used to like her a lot ) but then all her harassment to Seju ( also the flash back back to their school days ) + using Sumin as bait to meet Seju makes me confused !
honestly, I even started to doubt her attraction to Sungji ..if just I could understand Nammi more !
Didn't Nami sleep with Sumin only once and it wasn't really fun so they decided to never do it again?
It's not like she used Sumin as a bait IMO. Nami is not a fan of Sumin's relationship with Seju because she knows Seju hurt her more than once, even when she could use a different way to destroy Sumin's relationship with someone else - Seju chose the most hurtful way. It pissed her off. But I think she simply wants to have fun with Seju and that's it. I can't see Nami as someone who wants a serious relationship. Maybe she could change? Would be nice if she changed and actually get together with Seju.
yes she did sleep with Sumin, but she said ( I liked her -Sumin- to an extent she made my heart flutter )..
but
from the way I see it, Nammi did get to meet Seju only by somehow mentioning Sumin or through Sumin.. the obsession is not merely bcz she worries about Sumin.. would you try sleeping with your friend ex bcz you are worried about her unless you really like your friend ex.?
look at Nammi's type.. it resembles Seju .
in two different incidents she asks Seju if she hates her that much (does she wants Seju and Sumin be off bcz she cares about Sumin or bcz she wants Seju ?)
it is a total mess

The other one is that Sumin actually explained why it almost happened and worked hard to earn forgiveness while Seju never did such thing.
I disagree. If my memories serve me right, Seju actually explained she was drunk and all. And if the 10 years of blind & dumb devotion don't count as "hard work" I don't know what is lol.
The only difference is that: one listened and accepted the apology, while the other did not. But they're two different individuals anyway, so it's not even comparable. Comparing Sumin and Sungji level of tolerance is pretty useless, you know who'll win anyway.
exactly ! there is another reason, I believe Sungji kind of expected that the thing between the two is not over.. she knew they were not totally broken up.. she knew that Sumin & Seju are not just friend from the conversation they had + when Nammi told her they hung with only each other during High school.
on the other hand, the element of surprise that Sumin had is different.. (the bad timing + the trauma she already had .. I believe that Sumin blamed Seju for everything going wrong in her life ever since her parents death) ..
I myself also have double standards when it comes to cheating.. if I get cheated on with a guy, it magnifies the consequences 15 times ! (it could count as another reason )
in chapter 68.. does Sungji think that more sex would keep Sumin occupied and separated from Seju ?.. does she think they are Fu*k bodies and would be separated when they find a better substitution ?

I know this will sound bad to say for a yuri manhwa, but at this point I'm yolo for Seju's partner. If it was a nice guy that she could love, I'd take it too.
so Seju being gay is the only obstacle u think :P
^lol how did you even thought of this combination?
The only relation I can find is that his VA will be Fujiwara in NTR anime :PWell being single is not always a bad thing. She can be happy and single at the sane time
not a bad thing.. but the a devil-bulter can really spice a life :D
Since Seju is getting singler with time .. I ship her with Sebastian Michaelis from the Black Butler :P
I don't get what Sumin said. Does she said the one that she care about now was Seju, or she said that she didn't care about that one anymore?
she said ( I don't care anymore ) .. then ( the one I cared about is you)-> past
she didn't care about the Baek family .. she used to care about Seju but not anymore
( I happened to have read it in German, so this is what it meant)
the whole conversation Seju tried to add a better meaning but Sumin shattered it

^
(even Sungji is brought to her by Seju hehehe )
...
the part I really like is actually Seju is getting stronger and bolder the more Sumin gets further from her..
makes me believe that Sumin needs Seju more than Seju needs her (she needs someone very strong and caring which Sumin is simply not )
I remember that the mole guy told her ( u never feared father before? in ch 63) .. Sumin is more of weakness rather than a strength added to her life.
God ! I am so invested in this Manhwa when I have a final tomorrow :(

Anyway, I suddenly remember Seju called and asked why there was a male applicant in job interviews for new team leader's position. Maybe, Seju has mistaken this girl as a boy? Cause the final scene at that chap, I saw a man in white shirt and Seju did look back at that man then continue going her way. The half image of that man is quite bothering me though, like trying to conceal him, half revealing him but also want to conceal him. Maybe I'm analyzing too much =))))))))))).
you do have sharp eyes .. I checked it again .. it seems like a girl's body in the last panel (ch66) .. Seju does sees her
but then why would she be in the building this late when she is not even an employee yet ?
This is my point of view....
First. I believe like what sumin said before... she doesn't care about any seju family's matter....but she does care for seju.. only her.
she means she does not care anymore (referring to Seju .. she smashed every attempt by Seju to make it sound good)
but what I am curious (furious also) about, is why she said so many hurtful things .. she did not even need to say all that !!
my blood is boiling
(and answering a phone call while being intimate ! whats wrong with her!)
I highly doubt that the motive behind all her sadistic treatment she gives Seju is a revenge over a cheating that happened 10 years ago..
Q:
is it 80 or 90 chapters ?
Edit:
I felt the need to state how clever Seju's body language was portrayed:
at the beginning, she tucks her hair behind her ears--> interested - openness- flirty
as Sumin started tormenting her --> she sets in defensive way (one arm crossed: need for safety or a hug )

I've never seen Sumin this cruel !!
but finally saw Seju saying NO to Sumin for a change .. this emotional rollercoaster is just too much
Not really liking how dark the series is getting. :( Have a theory based on the latest chapter that I am hoping is not true.
These three instances lead my to believe that Sumin suffered from more than just a sliced up shoulder from when she was being tortured. It feels like the author has been implying either she was sexually assaulted or that her lower body was mutilated. Personally I am hoping I am reading too much into these instances and that nothing worse than her shoulder happened.
it is getting darker .. no doubt about it, but I don't think it was a sexual assault tho.
what I believe is that normally Sumin does not like to be bottomed .. you can see her tho accepting that when she is with Seju only. ( I've known some lesbians who would not be bottomed unless they really like and trust the other person, myself included .. I think this is the case)
but since you brought it; I find it very weird that the old President still talks to the mole guy after he had to apologise to Sumin and ask for forgiveness .. + if the mole guy is the father of Seju (I assume the President knows) why he is still okay with that !

Regarding the Flower (Tattoo) discussion:
it's closely related to the Japanese poetry (A poem from the Man'yôshû, Japan's earliest collection of verses, speaks of an unforgettable woman "as beautiful as the fragrance of the yamabuki" (yamabuki no nihoheru imo) <- yamabuki is another name for Kerria
a Japanese Poet Murasaki was thought to be in a lesbian relationship .. and the flower took a part in symbolising the painful awareness that time is short, naturally prompts desperately passionate relationships
it also means Buddhist sense of mono-no-aware, the sadness of things. it is also a fruitless flower. a translated poem says:
The Yamabuki enriches our house with flowers,
yet there is sadness here,
for these riches are an illusion,
and our flower has no mino (fruit)
I copied this info from here:

Coincidence or not, I believe it is not the case. The character Seju is very interesting since she is an introvert. Introverts by statistics consist 10% of the population against the 70-90% of extroverts. These people are hard to understand since they think differently and as a result, their ways are weird. But I believe on the 3rd season, we will see the "heart" of Seju. To which I believe is interesting. The blessing and tragedy of this kind of people are: they love and understand people deeply but on the other hand, people can not understand them. She was well presented and defended by Team Gaji "implicitly". If Team Gaji are really true to their story as what they presented since chapter 1, then there is no problem in any of the characters and their development.
@Foxy lady
I truly appreciate your analysis, u also see into the details and appreciating the hard work.
I just saw ur posts and its sad I don't see you posting anymore.
in Chapter 26-27 the mole guy is definitely the father .. he replied to Seju " no parent would want that" but it was obvious he was talking about himself not President Baek. the thing now is I am trying to justify how he had a relationship + a kid with his father lover !! (not the ethical part but how his father forgave him.. or maybe he killed her.. !)
she herself really doesn't know why the scarring happened: her comment in ch27 (she basically thinks her family are getting at her by hurting Sumin... and that maybe why she is also trying not get so involved with her .. accepting Sumin being away to be safe from the Baek Family)
I am also sceptical as you are about Seju's cheating .. like why would the Bartender continue his advances when the first thing she said was not being interested in men.. her apartment door was left open.. she was really not thinking..Sumin never heard her nor I believe Seju remembers the whole incident, but did she deliberately made Sumin feels like she has a reason to be distant ?
I don't know what to think about that incident.
Thanks for your posts.. I found them very interesting

and on Sungji, both her and Seju is a passive aggressive type of character but because Sungji has never done anything "wrong" before, her fans can't see how calculating she can be xD imo, I find her more darker in nature compared to Sumin and Seju. at least, we know that both of them has gone through a traumatic past that wrecked their lives. so their selfish actions make sense but Sungji, the most "innocent" character can be as twisted as she can be. but the thing, I don't really like about Sungji is how her mood and personality changes depending on the situation/events. she confuses me a lot. there's so many side of her that doesn't actually make sense if you look at her backstory and the way she is being portray in the manhwa. she is supposed to be the most innocent and naive but it looks like she always one-up Seju and Sumin on different occasions. I honestly think, she is the fox out of the three main character or maybe because this manhwa just really lacks monologues and pov scenes that I can't help but speculate.
last chapter got me like: Sungji already knows that Seju was the one who bought Sumin the house.. she is withdrawing the girl slowly away from everything related to Seju.
I can't believe she was surprised by the cheating .. she knew about them from even chapter 15 or even before .
the only hope I have is that the writers had kept her background concealed to show us something major about her that would make sense. coz god ! she is one hell of a boring girl
I agree with those who are frustrated by the amount of sex and declined quality of the story .. it loses sophistications as we speak !! from chapter 68 till 73 and they hadn't stop the porn yet.. like we get it , they F**K !
on the other hand there is another major character that we don't know if she is safe or not.. I wanna know what was in that folder she dropped by her her brother's meeting for 20 days now .. don't tell me she had the script of game of thrones or something !
it is a shame.. longest few 4 chapters ever .. I think President Baek will die of how boring this is getting !

Can I ask what exactly did Sumin answer Sungji? I really don't want to go through those sex scenes to find out. I want to have a more clear picture on this situation
Sungji: I want to have you , if I could engrave my name on you, I would.. is it greed?
Sumin: more like a lust
basically then Sumin asks Sungji to stop (which I think its more pain related rather than pleasure ..)
another comment that I am not quite settling with: remember when Sumin broke up with Seju .. she told her: what if I wanted to be with you again?
which chapter was this? You remember things quite well =)))), I thought althrough 10 years Sumin always showed hatred towards Seju? Seju says this or Sumin says this?
that was in ch 54.. and in ch 67.
however, this is my own perspective of things.. while Sungji is not that special out of the 31 girls that Sumin have dated .. this relation could be serious bcz Summin herself wants an honest opportunity to get out of her need for Seju..
last edited at Feb 13, 2017 5:43AM
I think the flashback in chapter 72 is actually in Sumin's head.. in ch 71, Sungji could not sleep bcz she was worried that Sumin would disappear ( we see Sumin now assuring her).. but in the past also Seju was worried Sumin would get up and leave (she assured her but then broke her promise ) ..
will Sumin realize how she does break promises to lovers ?
also, I think in chapter 70 she was in pain rather than pleasure .. I do not know exactly why! in the original translation Sungji asks if engraving her name on Sumin is greed .. but then Sumin response was (more like a lust) .. this comment somehow gives the creeps for 2 reasons:
1- she actually has a scar reminding her of Seju
2- she then comments in ch 72 on how Sungji always wants to meet her face .
there was once a flashback of Sumin with another blondie (ch 37) who liked her mostly for physical reason.. but of course she broke up with her. Sungji once stated that she likes Sumin biz she finds her beautiful in one flashback in the car (ch64).
another comment that I am not quite settling with: remember when Sumin broke up with Seju .. she told her: what if I wanted to be with you again?
Sungji says basically the same thing to Sumin in ch67 then she actually hung up on Sungji (also she stated that she could not forgive her no matter how she thinks about it )
are we going to see Sumin scared of being treated the way she treated Seju ? or even feel more guilt towards Seju ?
till now.. Sungji did not give an answer to Sumin from chapter 68.. I wonder what it is.
however, this girl cried over a broken cell phone more than she ever cried bcz of the breakup and cheating combined !
Lastly: team Gaji said that Seju's involvement was important to make sure that what happened between Sumin and Sungji is not a mere conflict .. gives me a hint of a problematic relation based on some serious issues.. the fluff is not the end for those two.
I am reading way too much into it.. crazy! hehehe

I can help it .. but Sungji said something very stupid about engraving her name on Sumin (who actually has a scar reminding her of Seju).
how does't that trigger any of her memories?Huh? When did Sungji say that? Did I miss sth in the new chapter?
hehehe .. it was in ch 70

Uhm, the introduction of the story clearly stated it's a healing story with surprised twist. Oh? They have ask.fm? Do you have link or anything that could help me read their q&a? Do I need translation?
yes you would need the translation, I saw the translation in some other website

- Sungji has already shown that she can be sly as a fox in much earlier chapters. remember she pretended that she was sick. so, she could follow Sumin. She is not as innocent as she look like and definetely not naive. I think this has been established and everybody knows this already.
in the original translation in chapter 71 when she tries to top Summin she goes like ( so you like this side ) .. I do see some smirking in that
the Dawoon thing .. is also so foxy how Sungji dealt with her and used her to fell her emptiness.
till now.. she did not give Summin an answer .. not even (I love u ) back .. she kept stating how she feels strange.
- Yup, Sungji already knew that Seju and Sumin had dated each other and has been friends with benefits after they broke up because Seju did told her and that was even before she and Sumin officially dated. so, here's the question, why didn't Sungji even ask Sumin about it? If I was Sungji, I will feel uneasy and uncomfortable but she acted like it didn't matter to her until she found them tangled to each other in Seju's office. she knew what was coming and she just let it happen. Is it just me? or Is Sungji hasn't shown any interest to have an emotional connection with Sumin. it's like she just love all the attention Sumin is giving her but she doesn't spend more time to know her better. their relationship has been more about sexual gratification than anything
Yup .. I totally agree.. the girl was attracted mostly to Summin's appearance .. she does not deny it.
- Sungji saying "this time, it will be different" contradicts what she does next, she broke up with Sumin (which is the logical and realistic reaction) and what the hell does that even mean? she knew their past and how it ended between the two of them but she almost did what Sumin did to Seju after the cheating and we still haven't see Sumin realizing that this was, what Seju must have felt all these years.
(things aren't going to end the way want it to now.. its different ) .. of course the statement is threatening but I do believe that Sungji will seek a revenge on both of them somehow.. however, Seju is waaaay more experienced and smarter ,, she did not even fire her , and she wants to hire a new FEMALE team manager
- NOPE, I don't think Seju has anything to do with Sumin's exes. it's not like she handpicked every single one of them to be in a relationship with her. and here's the thing, Why is Seju so confident that Sumin will never find someone that will truly love her? does Seju really have anything to with all of Sumin's failed relationship? Seju has observed that Sumin goes back to her every time she broke up with her gf. They have this viscious cycle but if you'd think about it. Why did Seju told Sungji about her past with Sumin? I don't think she was encouraging her but more like she was deterring her to pursue a relationship with Sumin. at this point, if I was Seju, I will feel threatened, you got this girl who is willing to be in a relationship with Sumin. despite knowing that the girl she's in love with, still has a close relationship with her ex, who also happens to be their boss but all Seju did was wait like a sitting duck. well, that is until Sumin decided to leave her for good.
not the other exes .. she somehow picked Sungji.. when she slept with Summin in the hotel Seju kept putting the idea of Summin and Sungji dating in Sumin's head and then a couple of chapters later she asks Sungji to take care of Summin referring to her (situation ) .. she had the most wicked smile back then.
sia ue
Totally agree!! Why did the author made Sumin realized that she stlll has feelings for Seju. just so, she could buy couple rings for her and Sungji the next day. The f*ck?! does that even make sense? She should have been confuse and contemplate the situation she's in.
to run away.. or maybe try to redo things right that time ..
she repeats patterns of what she knows .
she said that she loves Sumin I think when she was applying some cooling patches on her back (can't recall the chapter )
It seems Sungji loves to say "I love you" out of the blue, while Sumin likes saying it when they are in the bed.
I don't believe so .. (things has changed ) comment of her makes me feel that she does not feel the same way she used to.
she enjoys the feeling of affection .. at the same time she does not feel THAT bad when she broke up with Sumin .. but I do not know if her addiction to Sumin's affection will actually be enough for this relationship
Nami is able to tell others what they do not want to hear.. or even doing it physically if circumstances allows.. I am not saying she will hook up with Seju.
But it's shown that Nami wasn't able to change Seju. When Seju was breaking down, she stated out loud that she did not care what others thought of her relationship with Sumin, whether they saw it as obsession, toxic, whatnot, it wouldn't bother her, so those people could just fuck off.
I don't have a clear idea how Nammi will advance her ways with Seju..
first she jumps at Seju's blinds dates and ends things for her before she does
secondly: she keeps mocking her relationship with Sumin even though she shows no reaction at first but the words of her obviously hit her (no matter how many years you will wait, she will never acknowledge you )
will be there any more actions from her ..?
in Sumin case she was encouraging her to go forward and let go her hesitation towards Sungji.. she was also there to force her think about what she avoided to think about for 10 years.. that she actually still in love with Seju all along ..
I don't think that making your friend realize that she still has her feeling for her ex means that you helps her to accept her current gf. Tbh, when I was reading that chapter, I was expecting Sumin, in the very next chapter, to break up with Sungji, and run back to Seju while crying tears of joy. Like this:
nope that not the only incident, look ch 19 ( I read the original translation in
Lezhin which is a bit more meaningful compared to the other translations).
another thing.. Summin hates admitting her love for Seju.. no matter what situation it was.. whenever Seju mentions it, she re-acts violently to refuse it somehow ..
I refere to the perfume day and when they were in the elevator day after getting caught and in the first few chapters when she asks Sumin if she is afraid if seeing her much will trigger something
I would like to mention that in Lezhin ( special chapter - intro to the 3rd arc) Team Gaji do state that the position of the three characters will change.. are we going to see an abusive and manipulative side of Sungji ?
I highly suspect any death or suicide cards being thrown on Seju as Team Gaji stated once that she is their favourite character (obviously she is the most well defined one among them all)

did she ever respond to Sumin (I love you ) .. after the intense scenes in 69 and 70 or 71.. not at all !
Did she respond to Sumin (I love you) in chapter 42?
will Nammi help Seju break her endless obsession with Summin the way she helped Summin accepting Sungji ??
Why Nami? Seju never even likes her a bit. And, I don't think it's Nami who helped Sumin x Sungji. I think it's all thanks to her guilt over her cheating on Sungji, no?
she said that she loves Sumin I think when she was applying some cooling patches on her back (can't recall the chapter )

Hello all, this is my first time writing about any kind of entertainment mean,
now I would like to point out a couple of points:
1- Sungji is not as innocent and naive as she appears, she was pretty good of understanding Nammi's motives and meanings behind words in ch 65 for example.. she is actually a sharp person
2- she knew exactly that she was going against Seju, that in fact shows maybe why she was trying so hard to please Sumin sexually (maybe the insecurities and her lack of experience)
did she ever respond to Sumin (I love you ) .. after the intense scenes in 69 and 70 or 71.. not at all !
3- her comment at the end of the second arc ( things have changed) also: (things will not end the way you want).. are her motives pure towards Sumin or actually to prove a point to herself on front of Seju and at the same time taking revenge of both of them ?!
-- I Always suggest reading this thing a part from your personal logic on how to deal with cheating.. the story is not written to project any of our ideas .. but the motives and complexities of its characters which I still find not far from what happens in reality. remember .. nothing is healthy about any of those three women emotions and they all come with their own flaws. which makes the story interesting and unpredictable
4- Seju herself was the one planning for those two to actually date .. she choose her carefully and pushed sumin many times to go for her ... Seju loves the fact that summit's always come back to her hurt and in need .. if you re-read the last chapter of the first arc .. she goes around on how twisted their relation is fated to be.. and she wishes summin will suffer more that she will always comeback to her.
I see Sumin repeating a pattern always ( the funeral day thing happened twice, once with the redhead and another with sungji ) .. she also always expects the other person to lose faith in her as a result of her being so attached to Seju, Sungji although that she is not very special but the only thing new now that she did not YET give up on Summin which finally gives her a chance to start having feeling Earnestly to someone else and taking her time doing so.. does Sumin really know Sungji or she is only attached to her as lifeline?
I can not see how the story would advance.. Seju character touches the heart so deeply.. and I know she wont commit suicide or anything.. I somehow do expect that the relation between Summin and Sungji will be ruined by Sungji herself.. I don't know how.. but I can imagine her doing so.
will Nammi help Seju break her endless obsession with Summin the way she helped Summin accepting Sungji ??
the new manager coming to the company, (I suspect Seju to choose one that can seduce Sungji and offers her what Summin can't )
the truth behind Seju's mother and moleguy
post- Chairman Baek period
can shift our upcoming perceptions on how we look at things
12 chapters ago we could barely sympathise with Seju.. but look at us now ..
point is .. don't underestimate the development that could happen in 19 chapters.. I remember one flashback about Nammi gave us a whole new aspect about her and her possible motives in chapter 45 or 46
