So in the most recent team Gaji's podcast, they confirmed manhwa ends in June.
Also what will happen until the end ishow Sumin and Seju first fell in love
Sumin and Sungji love story. I guess the end game of how they'll finally happen.
Seju won't die
Dawoon x Sumin's ex gf Lawyer is also canon endgame.
thanks aloooot , I've been yearning for the podcast translation.. do you know where can I get more info ?

Its only confusing to me if i look at it the way Nora89 does. My way to me doesnt confuse me
Not my intention to confuse you.
To me she is saying "No." "It's different" as in not the same as before. With everyone else apart from Seju she was an "empty shell" but this time it is different. Context involves more than just the panel we are reading.
That's how i interpreted it.
again, in the end of Sungji statement she says (things aren't going to end the way you wanted it to. Now...) notice the three dots (crucial )
then it goes: it's different.
(three dots not a full stop)
we can of course have different opinions.. but I like to understand the story the writers are trying to deliver not project my own ideas and then complain why they are not consistent with the story.
the lawyer goes : is she the one ? the person that woull hold you even if you are nothing but an empty shell.
Summin: NOTo me it makes more sense that she is actually saying "NO. It's different" rather than "it's different" being a statement to the phrase " I dont' mind you being an empty shell" just because one follows another doesn't mean they are always chronological.
Nope.. they are very chronological.. levelled down and to the right of each other, very basic design of conversation in Manhwas
No the chronology only means one was said after the other not that one is in response to another. The conversation at the end of ch 55 is similar.
then again, was held by seju .. see, it makes a great sense that she answers the question .. and the NO had a full stop mark after it ..
And is also in capitals which meant it was mentally shouted. The full stop signifies abruptness. Take a breath and finish then finish the sentence. Even though it was all in her head she still had to take a break after saying "NO."
All the text are in capitals :) well we see things differently and we interpret things differently so i won't argue about it.
there is another matter I wanted to emphasis since u got the original, now.. look at last girl Sumin broke up with, she was upset that Sumin was thinking about something else when they are together (Seju ) but then after she broke up and ran to Seju, Summin was the one who named her relationship to Seju to be only sexual by saying: (she was so bad in bed compared to you) when she knew it was more.

believe me, some chapters make absolutely no sense unless u read the original translation.
in ch44, remember the scene where Seju's father prepares the will with the mole guy, he says: if things do not turn the way planned, then I wont be able to face Chahee even after death )
now, if you read the online translation, it is just sense less !

I tried reading TTP, for some reason, I felt like I was watching a movie in -4x motion mode.
Exactly!!! you gave the statement to how I felt
the lawyer goes : is she the one ? the person that woull hold you even if you are nothing but an empty shell.
Summin: NOTo me it makes more sense that she is actually saying "NO. It's different" rather than "it's different" being a statement to the phrase " I dont' mind you being an empty shell" just because one follows another doesn't mean they are always chronological.
Nope.. they are very chronological.. levelled down and to the right of each other, very basic design of conversation in Manhwas .. " the NO was in a separate box following the question.." this manhwa does not use random pattern
the conversation goes, then you see Summin being held by Seju.. Summin admits to her self that she still "in love" with Seju. (NOTICE: she was HELD by Seju.. before we drag another two pages of who was she referring to, the only one held her in her brain was Seju.. cool )
To me Seju holding her is more a sign of Sejus possession of Sumin. See how things can look different to different readers.
context was about being (held) by someone, and Sumin feelings towards Seju not how Seju is a massive evil obsessed crazy bitch.
now in Korean and in English, there are different terms in which the level of love can be expressed: "IN LOVE" is a stronger and deeper term. (English is my third language so correct me in that if I'm wrong)
I can be "in love" with a doughnut or clothes.
context: relationships ! .. people

Just because Sumin reacted to Seju's dad being sick means nothing since she not a sociopath. Same goes with her "comforting" Seju after she met with her fam.
I was talking about whether she was like an empty shell or not when she was with Seju. If she still knew how to care about others, why did the lawyer say like that to her?
interesting.. in Seju's POV, she never sees her that way, but a person who is scared of receiving or giving love. (ch 27 is my fav. !)
the other girls of course knew nothing about why Sumin will space out every second and be extra cautious, even the red head stated that she felt like she knew nothing about Sumin, thus, they perceived her as an empty shell.

Did you try The Third Party and The Love Doctor?
There's another option for the house - she wanted this house, badly. And she'd buy it, but Seju was faster. I also think she didn't sell her parents house because like she said, it's been 10 years and she's so haunted by their death. She was close to them.
tried love doctor <-- shallow story
third party <-- the art is just a turn off, too plastic (am I that picky hehehe)
I enjoyed FF though
..
she said by herself that she sold the house coz it reminded her of Baek Seju.. she did not stay in for 10 years but sold it during the same period of the scarring - break up
..

yes I meant chapter 50, I read the original Lezhin english releases, sometimes I read the German ones that are not original bcz they are one release earlier to the original english ones.
in some chapters, the fan translation is just out of context.. if that's the case in that particular chapter:
we are talking about the chapter following Summin's conversation with Nammi on the phone, when she has her inner thoughts.
cool, go to the last two pages: the red head holds Sungji's face and says ( to Summin): she is too good for the likes of you.
the lawyer goes : is she the one ? the person that woull hold you even if you are nothing but an empty shell.
Summin: NO
the conversation goes, then you see Summin being held by Seju.. Summin admits to her self that she still "in love" with Seju. (NOTICE: she was HELD by Seju.. before we drag another two pages of who was she referring to, the only one held her in her brain was Seju.. cool )
.......
now in Korean and in English, there are different terms in which the level of love can be expressed: "IN LOVE" is a stronger and deeper term. (English is my third language so correct me in that if I'm wrong)
in the original translation they use "in love" not love or like or attracted etc.
now, whatever happened after those 3 main realisations is still ambiguous to me.
- is she running away from Seju once more and Sungji is a life boat ? (in a sense that it does not actually matter how much she loves Sungji in comparison to Seju.. she wants to run, and think about it later! )
- goes to Sungji's place, Sungji says something like (you gave me your heart), Summin questions that in her mind , whether she could let her go.. going around how she can't give love or just giving good memories, later puts a ring on it and breaks up with the one she is sure about her feeling for ! (now, what is going on again!! )
---> she is actually lying when she said in the last chapter that she does not care anymore about Seju.
then again, she is so damn stuck in the house that Seju bought her, even though she was able to sell her "parents'" house in the first break-up trial ! (she returned a car that has less memories but not the house!.. is she lazy to pack the shit out.. naaah! )
two possible reasons in my mind:
1- she is actually not ready to move on :) .. ones more
2- give Seju an active role in this breakup for once (but nah, from how I see it.. Sumin is too dense to think about Seju's feelings or relationships sophistications)
( I do not really care who's going to marry whom as much as I care about their motives of doing all these decisions.. if you are already given a whole chapter of deep thinking that is totally inconsistent with the later actions)
.........
now, I really wanna see how it will go after Seju's father passes away
- since Sumin won't comfort Seju as she used to, how their interaction would look like, how Sumin will explain any interaction with Seju to Sungji THAT particular time..!
-> I myself find Seju both: reckless and stronger as Sumin gets further from her.
(I tried reading Pulse till we get the new chapter .. man, it is totally not satisfying - art nor plot wise )

I hate to do this over and over again:
in ch50 Sumin thinks that Sungji is too good for her .. but then Sumin concluded that the one will hold her even if she is nothing but an empty shell will be Seju, yet went to break up with Seju!
(i am not a fan of teaming and shipping .. but this is strange behaviour giving the conclusion she reached )
last edited at Mar 15, 2017 9:30PM
oh may .. if Sumin could still top Seju that specific night, then that will be overpowering her
in that case, she probably has carpal tunnel syndrome hehehehe !
initiation and position suggest Seju was doing the job.. actually to shut someone up, you might as well put a specific thing in their mouth.. hehehe
(this is getting too far.. how did we get here again ..)
Edit: this info. might be useful, but the flight duration between Seoul and Tokyo is only 2 hours.

Yes, but she was enjoying what Sungji was doing to her for a few moments and then it became too much which seems like she came and end up with oversex.
Oversex you say.. well I look at chapter 4, that one was overdoing it with a tough & demanding position.. she then resumed it with Seju.. that what happened with Sungji was pretty the basics.
In all other incounters, u are able to see clearly when the charecter was done.. but not that particular scene. Was it a physical or psychological matter .. this is what I cant identify

Speaking of change in power dynamics, i wonder if we get to see more of that. And i was never sure who said this line "things hanve changed"
Oh yeah.. I believe this how it will go looking at Sungji presistence and gazes, then it depeneds on how much of a power dynamics change can Sumin tolerate without being uncomfotable (guilt and love can play a big role in that)
About the line, it could be both.. it could be one of them.. Seju's reaction can imply many posibilities and so Sungji's actions
Thanks! This is quite informative. It's not weird at all, i believe you. I just thought it's the same for straight people spontaneously being top or bottom.
It does make sense since Sumin was always on top almost all the time and I wonder how does she cum when she is always on top.Sumin, was she in pain or pleasure when Sungji topped her? Did she cum? I wasn't sure, since she begged her to stop.
Sometimes, a woman can cum without being touched, by only pleasuring the other lady.. and sometime the joy itself suffice.
Ur last question is what I myself think, it was painful not pleasurable.. it does not look like the usual panting and moans that the creaters make to illustrate pleasure ..
Why is that.. I have no idea.. but maybe bcz of something Sungji said .. or her being a rocky in that aspect
I remember Sungji said: (if I could engrave my name on you I would ).. for someone with a scar that only reminds her of an ex and the associated physical and emotional pain, that comment is enough to drag her out of the mood+ Sumin facial expression.. I can only think about pain not pleasure.
Or was it the change in the power dynamics so suddenly?..mmm
But this is just my interpretation.

Just curious, what's the issue being a top or a bottom between lesbians? I came across the discussion Sumin being a Top. Does she get satisfied giving and being on top?
I know it makes no sense to anyone who is not a woman who likes woman
Even if a lesbian is a top she can get off by pleasuring the partner (it sounds weird I know but I also know what I am talking about).. top's fingers or mouth can not directly derive the orgasm for the top but feeling the pleasure resulted from ur actions on the other woman is extreemly pleasurable . (Its addictive I must say hehhe)
Why some are more top than others?
Everyone is different but it is a vulanrable, intimate and a very dominated situation to be topped
.. a top would have to build a strong trust and emotional bound to be in that situation.
Of course that does not apply to everyone.
But applies on the one case you are asking about: Sumin and I believe Nammi as well
See, Sumin allowed only Seju and lately Sungji (after hesitation ) to top her.

sometimes, Seju even try to protect Sumin from her own family, if she was that crazy disparate, she would have even pushed further for her father's plan .. but that does not count bcz as u said .. she did not give Sumin enough calcium to get taller hehehe

well, I agree on the most of it..
I agree that all Sumin cluelessness is due to her not wanting to deal with emotions.
the point when she slept with 30+ women, yes she can do what she liked, but HOW could she still have the nerve to bring Seju's sleeping with the bartender (and I still till today hesitate they she was aware of what had happened that night - the door was left open, and the whole matter is just creepy.. what did the guy say when Sumin came in ?)
also, her pushing Sumin down was not to beg for sex, the whole scene is intense, a person who loved her 17 years ago and never called her like that or said that she loved her for a whole 10 years and yet wanted to leave her!!.. Sumin is not that weak.. she walked to the bedroom by her own.. I believe Seju did not carry her hehehehe !
well, Sumin is manipulative too, and in her words she said ( so I kept her around and tormented her as much as I liked )
she had no respect to Seju's feelings but just scared of losing her at the same time .. still loved her and scared of loving her at the same time ( how messed up is that.. !)
Seju HAD to deal the way she dealt with Sumin to some extent, she could not even dare to tell Sumin how she felt nor demand Sumin care whenever she needed her as much as Sumin were always able to come back to Seju at anytime.. of course she will be scared when it gets deep with Sungji giving that Seju's situation is getting worse and lonelier in this world now her father is dying. her way was the only way she knew to keep taking care of Sumin.
have you noticed that Sungji was not allowed to touch Sumin's ass without asking for permission until she was in a very weak position to refuse anything ?!
the whole cheating thing made Sumin in a weaker position in her relationship with Sungji.. could you imagine Sungji asking to live together with Sumin before she was caught ?! guilt my friends can make her less eager to refuse
interestingly though, Asians believe in the blood type effect on personality and I believe Team Gaji revealed this information as a way to map the three personalities.
.....
( I puked after strap-on, it makes me stress out every time I see that chapter agh..).. could it be that Sumin and I are so organic in that matter hehehe

unlike superheroes movies, they do not have to be protagonist vs. antagonist .. (which I am very grateful for !!)
I read your discussion regarding whether Seju planned the situation in the end of arc 2..
Seju was freaking surprised when Sumin told her she loved her .. but not at all when she said she loved Sungji.. yet she wanted to break up with Seju bcz she loved her too (now, we talk about emotional damage !.. it is like break up pain multiplied by 15)
the whole dialogue is heart breaking.. a person who was never been loved by anyone but by Sumin.. never opened up to anyone but her.. after 17 years of knowing someone you can not just let them go.
Seju would prefers to be hated and even abused emotionally rather than being loved yet not being with Sumin ..
Sumin being manipulated .. hehehehe! well, I disagree, the girl knew what she was doing.
the girl brought up a 10 years cheating incident when she was the one slept with +30 girls during all that time ..
yeah, Sumin is so poor and damaged (my ASS!!)
while in my age and experiences I can understand totally Seju and Sumin being unable to let go and the nature of their dysfunctional relationship.. yet I can not understand why Sungji is so attached to Sumin when Sumin did not even treat her right till she caught her cheating!.. I know it all started as a physical attraction .. but then it is a lot of shit to put up with.. standing agains the president of the company u work in for the manager of your team who is 10 years older than you etc. what the hell !

ch 28
ah Nammi talked to Seju after Seju already had talked to Sungji ..
hehehe Seju is always one step ahead of Nammi
I remember also that Nammi had that talk with her in the office.. it must had triggered something
Nammi clearly stated that this could be the end of their relationship.. not that Seju did not know about Sungji and Summin before.. but she knows that Sumin tells Nammi some stuff that she won't tell Seju and vice versa.
Sungji's one eye covered gives me the impression that she is hiding a part of her real self. A lot of people have suspected before, that she knows more than she shows. It would make her more interesting if that turns true, and this is the plot twist they've been talking about.
Her character needs this to be honest. As for the rest of them, it's pretty clear what they feel. Sumin looks sweetly at Sungji, and Seju looks like she knows it's over.
Exactly, ever since I started talking about this Manhwa here .. I always thought this way.
given that team Gaji said that we will start to see characters differently, well that is true except for Sungji and her weird actions.. they look sweet and all but then you don't get them.
her not being direct to Sumin about where she was when she was at Seju's (and seju called for Sumin) is just creepy as hell
she had a whole conversation with Seju at Sumin's house and yet would not even mention anything.
(wait!! is Sumin always deff whenever Seju and Sungji talk !! what's wrong with this girl .. ah she will die of idiocy !)

it would be lovely if Sumin would finally look into her stuff and find the watch that Seju gave her.. maybe she would remember the conversation with her and ask her why she hired Sungji and pushed them to be together in the first place.
I think it was already explained by Seju wishing more hurt in Sumin's life because she wants her to always crawl back to her in pain and with hate.
makes no sense, in the past Sumin always found her girls by her own and then ruins her relationships herself (in at least most of them)
secondly: this is inconsistent with Seju being obsessive- possessive.
it would be lovely if Sumin would finally look into her stuff and find the watch that Seju gave her.. maybe she would remember the conversation with her and ask her why she hired Sungji and pushed them to be together in the first place.
